Chapter 20: Why was she so scared of me?
He saw Linda standing there with a bathrobe, which showed off her cleavage. He gulped at that sight. Her porcelain colored body made him burn with his desires.
Unable to stop his body reactions he rushed into the bathroom without even glancing at her.
Linda was really uncomfortable with the surrounding. She never planned to make him uncomfortable or for herself.
The knocks in the door brought Linda into the world and she opened the door,"Ma'am, here is your dinner and your milk tea."
"I didn't order for the dinner."
"Sir ordered for it with the milk tea you ordered.",with this he thanked her and walked out.
--Inside the bathroom--
'What the hell was wrong with her, she walked out only with a bathrobe. Was she trying to seduce me? No that could not be the case because she felt uncomfortable standing there with a bathrobe. Then why should she choose wearing that in first case.'
With this thought he finished bathing and only then he realized why she came out just wearing an bathrobe. He was in the same situation as her, he didn't have any extra clothes. Fortunately there was an another set of bathrobe in the cabinet there. He wore the bathrobe and exited the bathroom.
He saw her standing the balcony with a cup in her hands. He scanned the room and found that their dinner has arrived.
Linda turned to enter into the room and stood there hesitatingly whether to enter the room or not.
"Come in and close the door. It is so cold.", Zenith said while he noticed her hesitation in entering the room. It brought a kind of dissatisfaction in his heart. 'She was hesitating to share the room with me. She didn't find it comfortable to stay with me.'
She entered the room and locked the balcony door. They had their dinner in silence and no one dared to utter a word.
Linda was somewhat hesitant to share the bed with him only when she wore a bathrobe,"Hubby you sleep on the bed, I will sleep down in the floor. I will just get your quilt."
Zenith noticed her terrified expression on her face. She was scared of him. This was unacceptable. He planned to play along with her.
"No, the climate is ultimately cold, so I think I won't be able to give you the quilt. You can just lie in the bare floor. I will give you the extra pillow because I have a little humanity."
Linda thought it's safe to suffer than to enter a lion's den for shelter.
She nodded her head and grabbed the pillow from the bed and lied on the floor while Zenith was using his phone lying on the bed.
Half an hour passed and Zenith heard the steady breathing of Linda from her sleep and then he climbed down from the bed and squat down near Linda's lying figure. He never thought that she would accept lying in the bare floor. 'Why was she so scared of me?'
He noticed that she was in a deep slumber. He carried her in bridal style and laid her in the bed and covered her with the quilt. He found her adorable when she was quite without any expressions in her face.
He lied next to her and covered himself with a quilt and slept peacefully.
