Chapter 18: In your embrace
Zenith stopped by in an store to buy the breakfast and Linda was playing with her phone while sitting in the jeep.
A sales girl was drooling over Zenith while he was choosing his menu. He looked like a university student wearing an contrast color letter pullover hoodie. The sales girl tried her luck to flirt with him but she was extremely disappointed when he raised his hand to grab the breakfast cover. She noticed his wedding ring and disappointment was written all over her face.
Zenith thanked her and turned towards the exit and walked out and Linda leaning on the jeep fast walked towards him and held him by his neck,"What have you brought me? I extremely feel hungry."
The sales girl who was peeking out was now lost with her final hope. With a sign she continued her work.
"What are you doing?",Zenith asked as he did not understand her sudden change in her behavior.
"I'm helping you escape from people who try to flirt with you.",She said pointing the sales girl using her eyes.
Zenith found her extremely cute and adorable from this side of hers and patted her head.
Removing her hands from his neck she said,"I'm not a kid, never pat my head.Understand?"
Again patting her head he said,"Yes, I understand."
Linda's nose became red due to anger but seeing her angry bird nose Zenith chuckled.
Linda and Zenith ate their breakfast in the jeep and headed to the hiking area.
The climate was extremely favorable for hiking and they have reached their final view point. It was already two in the afternoon and they sat by the bench and Zenith opened his backpack. He took out two instant noodles boxes and filled it with hot water.
"Hey I thought you brought some first aid kid, but you brought food items?",Linda asked in disbelief.
"I know that you brought the emergency kid so why should I also bring the same kid?",Zenith questioned her again giving her an answer.
Smiling at his reply the both started to dig in their instant noodles.
Enjoying the view they started getting down while it was three in the afternoon and not even half a distance was passed but the clouds which where clear was now being filled with water and it was like a child that could cry out it's sorrow any moment from now.
The speed of the chilly breeze increased and now the sky weeps out it's sorrow. Zenith and Linda found a shelter as soon as the rain began so they weren't drenched by the rain.
Linda was getting cold by the climate and started rubbing both of her palms to keep her warm. Zenith sensed that she was getting cold due to the weather and searched for something that could keep her warm, but he couldn't find anything.
Suddenly a thought came to him and he walked towards her and grabbed her hands and he rubbed her palms to keep her warm. But still her shivering never came to an end. Unable to see her shivering he move closer towards her lifted his hoodie up and cover her inside his hoodie and by now Linda's cheek started burning due to her shyness in sharing the same hoodie with him and now their faces were just inches apart. He had her in his embrace and Linda rested her head on his well built chest while hugging his hips tightly without letting him go.
She could hear his heart beat and she felt a kind of home in his embrace. Their pose now was intimating.
"Is it warm for you?",Zenith asked her when he found that she kept gripping tightly his hip.
"Much better. I wish this moment never end.",Linda said and closed her eyes to feel his warmth.
He moved his gaze towards Linda who was resting her head in his chest and a smile appeared on his face and then with his left hand he caressed her silky smooth black hair.
