Chapter 15: Unbelievable
"Fine, I am the boss myself. This is my mansion I owned after being successful in my career."
Zenith opened his mouth wide in astonishment. She is the boss herself. No employees, Working alone.
"Are you involved in any illegal businesses?",Zenith could only think this way because she was over protective about her job being identified and she was successful within one year of business being started.
Linda completed her college only seven months ago and now she was successful. No it took approximately two years for her to be successful. Her first book and the second book helped her own this mansion.
"No, I don't do any illegal businesses. Don't make any wild assumptions. Let me show you around and then you will come to know about my job.", Linda was sure that she cannot hide her identity from him any more. If that happens he will really go crazy.
After parking the car they both walked towards the main door, she inserted the password and they entered the living room.
Zenith was mesmerized by the interior. It was simple yet it speaks to the one who loves interior.
Noticing that Zenith stood like a statue and not even moved an inch after she walked forward, she walked towards him and held his left hand with her right and pulled him a little and said,"Hubby, come let me show you around."
He moved and when they reached the second floor his mouth hung open in surprise. He looked at that floor and it had no walls indicating that the whole floor had only one room and he was standing in that room.
Letting go off his hand Linda walked away and moved the curtains and the sun shined into the whole room.
Zenith was dazed by the bookshelf he saw there. It contained different types of dictionaries, novels, etc.
She gave him a coffee and he had an questioned gaze from where did she suddenly get a coffee but when his eyes landed on pantry he understood that she works on this floor and never leaves this floor except for getting off from work.
"Now satisfied. Is that clear, I am not doing any illegal businesses.", Linda said with a smile.
"But still you didn't say what is your work.",Zenith didn't still have a clear view about her work.
"Wait.", with this she turned her back and moved towards the bookshelf and took five novels that she has written and walked towards him.
Placing the books in the table she took her first work and gave him.
Placing the coffee on the table he took the book which she gave him and questioned,"Why do you give me Persephone's first work?"(Persephone was Linda's pen name)
"Mm. Well, I am Persephone.",Linda said while rubbing back of her neck.
Zenith was in the stage of what? unbelievable. He sat on the couch with a jerk and looked at her with astonishment.
"That is my pen name and started writing these novels when I was in junior high school."
Still Zenith was dazed with her identity."Are you really Persephone?"
"Yeah. This is my studio and you are the first to enter into my studio.", Linda said. It was true even Luna was stopped from entering the studio. Whenever Luna came she will sit in the sofa of the living room.
"Oh.. Can I ask you something?",Zenith asked her and she nodded in her agreement.
"Why did you choose the name Persephone?",Zenith asked.
"That was because I liked the fact how she was truly loved by her mother and her husband in Greek mythology than any other Gods in the mythology. She was blessed to have a loyal husband like Hades."
"You have read mythologies?"
"Yep, some what I know its outline and I still read those during my leisure.",Linda said.
She walked towards her table and opened her laptop and started working on her next novel meanwhile Zenith was sitting in the couch with the third novel she wrote.
