Chapter 12: Hubby, put me down.
Zenith noticed Linda's gaze towards him and he moved forward to the dancing boy and stopped him and whispered something in his ears and the boy smiled and left the crowd and Zenith joined the dance in the place of the boy and intertwined his hands with Linda's and started dancing.
A loud cheer was heard when they completed their dance. The party was over and when they returned home it was half past twelve.
Linda was a bit drunk after the party and the whole car ride she kept mumbling some stuffs.
Zenith picked her in the bridal side and walked into the house. Inspite of her tipsiness she started blushing at this act. She tucked her head in his chest and circled her arms around his neck.
"Hubbyyyyyyy!",she dragged and started giggling.
He avoided her calling walked inside the house after entering the password of the house.
"Hubby, put me down.",she said in a puppy voice.
"OK.",with this he put her down but she stumbled and was about to fall when he dragged her with his right hand on her waist.
Their faces were just an inch apart and they can sense their breathing.
She giggled again.
"What makes you giggle again and again?", Zenith asked without letting her go from his embrace.
"No, nothing.", she said and moved her right hand to his face and traced his outline.
Not feeling comfortable with her behavior he held her with both the hands clenched on hers.
"Hub....byyy!",she squealed with an excitement.
Not being able to tolerate he asked in an annoyed tone,"What?"
"I---I wa--want chocolates.", she said with an shuttered voice.
"No, you shouldn't eat chocolates at this hour. You can eat it tomorrow.", Zenith said in an ordering tone.
"If you didn't give me chocolates then I will, then I will---", she didn't know what to say and next she squat down and started crying.
She was looking like a child throwing tantrum. To control her crying he picked up a chocolate bar from his fridge a gave her.
Smiling till the ears she accepted his offer.
Zenith was off guarded by her sudden action. She smiled and circled her arms around his neck and gave a peek on his lips.
Unwrapping the chocolate cover she started eating it. She didn't move from her place. Zenith waited for her to complete the chocolate.
He carried her to her room and placed her comfortably on the bed and helped her remove her heels. He tucked her with the blanket and turned to move but suddenly fell upon her when she pulled him. She circled her arms around his waist and didn't let go of him.
"Linda, let go of me.", Zenith said looking at her. Her eyes were wide open and she kept blinking once in a while.
"No. I won't. Sleep with me today.",Linda said in an demanding tone.
"No, I can't. just let me go.",Zenith said struggling for letting himself free.
"OK. Then do this and I will let you go.", Linda said.
Rolling the eyes at her Zenith asked,"What is that Linda?"
"Nothing difficult, just call me honey and kiss me in the cheek and I will let you go."
