Chapter 8: Keep quiet or I will drop you down.
"Why should I prepare you dinner?", with this Zenith continued eating.
Linda was dumb stuck with his answer.
"What you didn't prepare me dinner?", Linda asked in confusion.
"Yeah, why should I prepare you dinner?", Zenith asked raising an eyebrow.
"Of course you should prepare me dinner. You clearly saw me sleeping me and why can't you put some efforts to impress your wife.", Linda said this more like a statement than a question
"Why should I impress you?", Zenith asked again which even more pissed off Linda.
"Argh.. You couldn't get this simple logic. When a husband cooks for his wife then his wife will be happy."
"It doesn't bother me whether you are happy or not.", with this he stood from the table and went towards the sink to do his dishes.
Again Linda was zoned out with his answer. 'Why is it so difficult to tame my handsome husband, Arghhhhhh.'
Linda came to her sense when her stomach started growling.
Linda walked towards the kitchen and prepared a super quick dinner and ate silently.
She wasn't sleepy so she planned to watch movies and sat in the sofa, she saw the blanket still lying there and an thought of him came to her in his mind.
'Why does he act cold towards me if he is really warm inside. He covered me with a blanket while sleeping yet he still he acts cold. Linda this should be asked. Definitely you should seek for his answer.' with this thought she ran upstairs and stood before his door.
--Knock,Knock--
Zenith opened his door and "What?", this was the only word that came from his mouth and it was enough to froze the entire floor.
"I have something to ask you. Can we sit and talk?", Linda said while peeping inside his room with the hope of letting her inside his room.
Zenith walked forward while closing his door," Yeah, we can talk."
They both sat in the sofa of the living room and Linda continued, "You said that my matters doesn't bother you and why did you cover me with blanket while I am sleeping, if it doesn't really bother you.", Linda smiled sheepishly as she as gotten him red handed.
"What are you saying I didn't cover you with blanket. You were already covered with blanket when I came home."
'What I was already covered when he came home. How could that be possible. Wait only I was there in this house except---'
Her thoughts were disturbed when some memories came back.
Aunty Mo was the one that covered her with blanket and Linda said thank you to her in her drowsy state.
Linda's mouth shaped into a big 'O' with the realization.
Zenith nodded his head with her behavior and walked back to his room after saying, "Don't disturb me I should have a tight sleep."
No,no,no, Linda was embarrassed and wished if the floor could swallow her in an instant.
She didn't feel sleepy and so she thought of continuing her old plan spending the night watching television.
She chose horror movie this was her favorite genre since her childhood. She always sees horror movie in sleepless nights and shout to the core.
It was already 15 minutes and Linda started shouting as she was scared and Zenith on other hand got irritated, coming out of his room,"Argh, Linda why the hell are you shouting in the middle of the night?"
"Sorry, I was seeing the movie. I won't shout. You continue your sleep.", Linda said.
Zenith locked the door and lied in the bed hoping for a peaceful sleep as yesterday was a sleepless night.
Not even 5 minutes passed and again Linda started shouting, Zenith was pissed and walked down slamming the door shut.
He took long strides towards the television and switched off the television.
"What the---", Linda stopped saying seeing Zenith standing there with hands in his pocket and continued,"It was such a scene and why did you off the television."
Without answering her question Zenith walked towards Linda and scooped her in his arms, "Wh-hh-a-What are you doing?", Linda asked while clutching both of her hands at back of his neck.
"Shh..., Keep quiet or I will drop you down.",Zenith said and climbed up and walked towards her room.
Putting her on the bed he turned to his room slamming her room door.
"Ohhh.., what the hell, Linda.", Linda said touching her flushed cheeks.
