Chapter 7: My husband is cooking for Me!
"I miss you",Linda said while giving him a bone crushing hug. She placed her head in his chest and was hearing to his heartbeat. She inhaled his scent which was in masculine mint flavor.
Zenith stood frozen in the part and didn't dare to move. He left her to do as she wishes and did not avoid her presence.
After completing the discharge procedures they went home after dropping her mother home.
"Welcome home,madam.", Aunty Mo welcomed her.
"Just call me Linda.",Linda said with a smile in her eyes.
Zenith walked away leaving Linda in the middle of the living room. Aunty Mo showed Linda her room and brought her lunch.
Lying on the bed facing the ceiling Linda moved her hands around in the air, which indicates that she is thinking.
'ohhh. Lin, you are living in separate rooms there is now way for you to talk with him. How can you talk to him, yeah wait for him in the living room.'
She ran downstairs and sat in the sofa. Grabbing a cushion and television remote. She randomly chose a channel and started watching it.
Hours went by and now it is evening. Linda fell asleep on the sofa. Zenith walked in and was greeted by the loud noise from the the television.
Furrowing in his eyebrows thinking how could one sleep peacefully with such a loud background sound.
He turned off the television and headed towards his room. Changing into casuals he walked down and found that Aunty Mo was no where to be seen. Just then he remembered that she asked him for a week's leave.
He headed towards the kitchen and prepared some food for dinner.
Linda opened her eyes and found that she was covered with a blanket. A smile unknowingly spread in her face.
Her thoughts were disturbed when she heard some noise from the kitchen. She knows that Aunty Mo was on leave because she said that after serving her lunch.
She ran towards the kitchen and found him cooking with an apron.
She then had a huge foolish smile that was evident for the latter.
"What?", Zenith asked raising his eyebrows.
"Nothing.", Linda said shaking her head and walked away heading towards her room.
She was in joy that she could even jump off from the cliff. In her mind the only thought was 'Yeah!! My husband is cooking for me'
She headed downstairs after reducing her joy inside her room. Even now she couldn't suppress her smile from her face.
She sat in in the dining and waited for him to display the dinner. He arranged the items in the table.
He brought his cutlery and started eating. Linda didn't know what was happening, he didn't serve her.
Her smile was replaced with annoyance and looked at him who was enjoying his food.
'It's OK Linda no issues with going and taking your cutlery. He prepared dinner for you. That is more than enough for now.' with this thought she brought her cutlery and went to dig in the food.
Suddenly she was stopped from touching the dishes. "What?", Linda asked in an mellow voice.
"What are you doing?", Zenith asked her looking into her eyes.
"Serving myself. Its OK for me. You continue eating I won't bother you.", with this she again went to dig in but stopped when Zenith laughed and said, " Excuse me, you are taking my food. If you are hungry go and prepare for yourself."
"What? You didn't prepare this for me?", Linda questioned pointing her finger towards the dishes.
"Why should I prepare you dinner?", with this he continued eating.
Linda was dumb stuck with his answer.
