Chapter 4: The Change
"I married her five months ago. She is a nice woman.", Alex said.
"But why are you saying it only now Alex.", Linda was irritated by his answer. Actually married for past five months but he kept the fact from her.
"I wanted to apologize sincerely, that was the reason I didn't say it.", Alex continued after looking into her eyes,"Lin, I didn't believe that I could be able to love anyone else except you. But she made me believe that emotions change. Her Love towards me changed my love for you to her."
Tears started rolling down in her beautiful face."I wish you a happy married life, Alex. Now, its my turn to apologize for keeping it away from you for the past one month. I married Zenith because my sister ran away and I was naturally thrown to the position of bride."
Weeping her tears," But my love for you never changed I thought of leaving everything behind if you still accept me and the love that didn't change. But my bad luck you have truly fallen for your wife and I can't force you into this. Sorry!"
" I am sorry for you Lin. But if you need any help feel free to ask me.", Alex said as he was not able to see 'The always happy Linda' with tears.
"OK, now I have to go back. I have my work to complete, congratulate your wife in my regards.", with this she stood and left the place.
She sat in the bench which was is the pack opposite to the restaurant and looked at the children playing in the park.
Tears rolled in her face uncontrollably. The clock ticked and it was now five in the evening.
A message popped in her phone. She was is no mood to scroll her phone but she was sure that only important person have her phone number.
'Today there is a family gathering in the main mansion. Come there by your own.- Zenith.'
There was a smile in her face which was filled with sarcasm.
In the main mansion all were sitting in the dining room. It was already seven.
Mary looking at her son questioned,"Why didn't you pick Linda with you?"
"Mom,I was busy so I messaged her to get here on her own and she accepted it.", Zenith said with a disappointment in his voice.
He was actually disappointed with Linda's behavior. Even though they never spoke to each other he thought that she would act accordingly in front of their family.
He stood from the chair and walked out dailing Linda's number. It was the first time he called her.
As soon as the phone was connected, he shouted in an annoyed tone, "Where the hell are you Linda. I said you top be present in the main mansion for the gathering , right?"
"Sir, there is an emergency for the one who own's this phone. She has meet with am accident and had been carried to the hospital.", the latter said with an normal but quick voice.
