They came back to the hostel but after that Carnia had to go thru an ear full of scoldings by Carlton, Ethan and Aiden had to cover their ears from the never-ending chatter of their father. It ended when Carlton had a unexpected visitor waiting infront of the lobby in the hostel.
Ethan removed his hands and looked at Carnia with a pitiable look, the three were both really pitiful, the two were only trying to sneak inside their rooms when Carlton caught them and dragged them as well. the three stood their for a while to 'reflect' from their mistakes and went to their separate rooms.
it has only been half a day but many things have already happened and Fayre would still not tell her about Kilta, Carnia wanted for Fayre to tell her herself not the other way around. Fayre came back so happy that thru out the day she was all spaced out probably thinking of the time she went there.
"So,.. I wanted to ask you for a while, what happened with Kilta?."
she could not stand it any longer, her curiousity grew more and more as time passed by and the face Fayre kept making was ticking her off. she checked Fayre's expression first when she asked wondering if the question would make her turn angry or serious.
"Oh, its nothing."
Fayre's expression remained the same still all giddy and elighted, Carnia turned silent this was not the answer she expected. the first reply she wanted to hear is how thankful she should be and on how she should just spill the beans and tell her already.
"Really?."
Carnia tried again, taking it slow just in case Fayre would be uncomfortable with her prying with her personal life, she sat on top of the settee chair feeling her knees cramp up.
"Really, Its nothing."
she tried on a different approach, feeling her veins almost popping from the curiousity stuck on her head. she rubbed both her knees and head massaging them in a circular motion.
"Oh, if its nothing I dont need to ask then."
"We catched up with each other and you wont believe what happened!."
This was the trigger that made Fayre speak up, it seems like all it needed to take for Fayre to speak up is a little a bit of attention. Carnia felt something familliar, a sort of nostalgia of the way Fayre talked, a feeling she would not forget and the reason why his friends called him 3 month boy.
"What happened was leucrocruta and enfield kept bugging Kilta...."
This was it Carnia thougth, the reason why she was called 3 month boy by her friends is because her limit for dating girls was only 3 months, she could not pass the point of 3 months. the one thing she hated about girls is their never-ending blabbering. the way they complained, the way they kept talking about their back stabbing friends and the way they pester you to mold yourself from the way they wanted was unbelievable.
Carnia looked at Fayre blankly, nodding her head pretending to listen along to the conversation. she noted the important parts the name leucrocruta and enfield in her mind. when Fayre looked like she was asking for a response Carnia would make a 'Hm.' sound and would nod her head.
"Did you talk about me?."
the answer to her question was the only topic she needed to hear, no more gossiping about her friends that she was clearly not interested in, she just wanted to be straightforward and straight to the point.
"I told her of how you saved me and she was grateful for your kindness."
"thats it?."
Carnia wanted more, getting recognition is fine but what she wanted was the beneficials, like the wedding favors of a wedding. she remebered how in anime's every encounter has a huge benefit for the Mc but why did this encounter fail, is she not the Mc the world needed, she felt disappointed and wanted to lie down on his bed.
"Ah!, thats right Kilta wanted me to tell you, that if you have any troubles in the future you could ask her help."
she was going to lie down on the bed with his feet dangling on the side, when she heared what Fayre said her head jerked to where Fayre was sitting almost automatically. her droppy like face quickly turned 180°.
"Is that true?."
Carnia asked her excitement was totally up the roof, Fayre nodded hovering above to lie down on the bed and sleep, ignoring the noisy Carnia jumping on the side of the bed. she thougth the world did really need a Mc like him.
"I wont disappoint you world!."
she shouted his lungs off, pointing at the ceiling which earned a knock on the door the maids were anxious on why Carnia yelled. Carnia quickly sat on the bed and dismissed the maids feeling embarrased of what she did. she laid down on the bed and said goodnight to the world.
