the three stayed in a hostel, a more comfortable and extravagant stay in place like a hotel more better than the run down inn they saw earlier.
the maids unloaded her things they placed her clothes in the closet next to the bed, fixing the bedsheet and cleaning every corner of the room. the room was very clean but Carlton is really sensitive about hygiene especially when it comes to his children he heared from Mrs. Eliz that children are prone to diseases and that very statement triggered the him now.
her situation was the same as her brothers, they waited outside their rooms talking to each other infront of the doors of their rooms. Carlton observed every action, every scene the maids were doing squinting his eyes to the carpet under the bed. touching the borders of the carpet, feeling satisfied when the carpet was clean.
the maids finally left after being dismissed by Carlton, he told them to meet him before 6 to eat oustide and possibly shop gifts for their mother Linda. Carnia opened the door of her room, closing it silently before breaking into a squeel.
since earlier she has been so excited to see the thing in her hands, she kept clenching the crystal in her palm feeling confident that the crystal she is holding right now is the same one as the Rion crystal that Fayre told her to be legendary.
she sat down at the sofa in the middle of the room, she knocked her head lightly remembering that she forgot to lock the door when she went inside. she stood up and locked the door.
"(What are you doing?.)"
she jumped instinctively, slowly turning around to see Fayre on the coffee table a lot more brighter and cheery than before, she felt a sense of relief wash down her fear. she is easily frightened, she could only be described as a chicken at this point.
"Look at this, this is the Rion crystal right?."
Carnia sat back on the sofa she unrolled his hand, and showed Fayre a glowing red crystal similar to the one they had.
"That is not a Rion crystal but a Yire crystal."
"A Yire?."
Carnia scratched her head, confused as how the Rion crystal is different from the one she is holding right now, the color was the same shade of red, the crystal also weighted the same and even feels the same.
Fayre popped out her coin purse out of thin air and took out the Rion crystal inside by her paw, she grabbed the crystal in Carnia's hand and placed it side by side. she explained.
"The Yire crystal is a common type of healing crystal almost found anywhere, the function are the same but the effectiveness is different, people often get confused by the two."
Carnia looked closely at the two crystals but the two definately looked the same, if the two were similar enough to get people confused then how could she ever know which is which just by looking at their appearance alone.
"The Yire crystal is pinkish in the middle while the Rion is a darker shade of pink."
Once again the mind of a business tyoon activated in her head not listening to the words Fayre said, she imagined in her head a store of her own that sells Yire crystals and fake brand them as a Rion crystal to earn money. she was a scammer in her past life and she was thinking of becoming one now in this world. she sugar coated the people with his looks and good use of words that made him a millionare in his past life, the thrill of seeing the faces of the people get tricked by her gives a sense of satisfaction, A rush that even her cannot understand.
"there are a lot of people tricking buyers to buy a fake Rion crystal and sell them in a high price and because of that people became more strict if you were ever found selling a fake, you will be executed."
Carnia gulped by the word executed, her genious plan was now ruined by the amateur scammers, she was so excited earlier but now she is dissapointed.
She did not have the MC's luckiness she often saw in anime movies she thought by now that all the luck in this world will come to her but now she is back on square one relying on the one fortunate friend that lady luck had given her by coincidence.
"What am I going to do with that then?."
she almost wanted to throw the Yire crystal, she was really disappointed today not only did she not get to meet Kilta but also discovered a replica of a Rion crystal that he stupidly thougth was the real deal.
"Keep it for now."
Carnia nodded, Farye placed the two crystals inside her coin purse and lie down on Carnia's shoulder, she loves to nuzzle her head into Carnia's cheeks her fluffy hair tickling her neck.
"So what happened with Kilta?."
there was a moment of silence, Carnia looked at Fayre and she was fast asleep smiling. the smile really touched Carnia's heart and that made her smile as well, without nothing to do she stared at the ceiling not wanting to do anything that will wake up Farye that was sleeping.
