"W-what?."
Now she was the one to get confused, she looked at the lady behind her and the lady infront of her that called herself Mylene Colemen back and infront.
"I am Mylene Colemen, Why?!."
She yelled in a serious tone proud by the reaction Carnia showed grabbing the attention of all the people in the party, they looked at Mylene and Carnia's drenched gown at an alarming speed.
"Did you dye your hair black?."
"What?!."
Carnia can only say that she f*cked up big time, it was such a big twist of events that she did not know how to fix the problem she contemplated whether to continue defending the child or just suck up to Mylene but when she thougth of it again she was clearly on the bad side no matter what happens she would take responsibilty of it all.
"Is your name that important?."
She took the other kids side and clenched her fists now that it has come to this she has no other choice but to end what she started, dealing with Mylene can wait in the future.
"What?!."
"What is happening right now?."
A young lady that looked like in her 30s stood beside them looking at them with a surprised face, the young ladies face is quite familiar if you look at her cleary she kind of resemebles Mylene.
"Mother, I only spilled a tiny bit of water on her dress and told her many times that I was sorry but she kept framing me, telling me that I did on purpose..... Mother I promise It was an accident"
She put on a pitiful act and lunged herself into her mother's arms, fake tears running down on her cheeks the others sympathize with her and stared at Carnia harshly she might as well get an oscar for best actress if she keep this up, but her motto has forever been 'never give up' if a few tears fooled everyone in a swift then what if she went all out, like a cue sign she looked at them pitifully adding with her innocent looks everyone quickly shift side's and started to doubt Mylene's claims.
Mylene quickly realised the situation and bawled her eyes out, standing next to Carnia holding both of her hands while apologising loudly for the others to hear she kept saying "I am sorry." And "please forgive me" she really deserve's a trophy for best in acting.
"Mylene do you hate me?, I kept telling you that it was okay but why did you make it sound like it was my fault.
Everyone spectating the drama could not decide who's side to pick on, the two were really good at acting even making the audience confused at the situation.
"W-what?.
It was Mylene's turn to get pushed on the edge, her telling a lie was out of her imagination the moment Mylene did the pitiful act thing she thougth she would win this round but her competitor is way more stronger than she imagined. She stayed silent for a while before a young boy joined in the drama and broke the entire act.
"I saw it all, that girl over their threw the cup into the girl over there but Carnia shielded her."
The young boy pointed at Mylene and to the child, telling the whole story in a monotonous voice he quickly left after making a ruckus, the glares of the people quickly shifted to Mylene the disgust on their eyes after seeing a young child decieving a group of adults like them. The mother of Mylene reacted at the change in atmosphere and left the area with Mylene dragging her hands while Mylene looked behind her drilling holes on Carnia's body. Who ever that boy was he looked kind of familiar a face that looked like she could never forget in her whole existence.

"Who was that boy?."
Carnia asked Gina, washing her hair while Beth and Emily scrubbed the underarms and pits of her body, Martha instictively looked at Carnia and smiled she was cleaning the water splashed on the floor when a hint of curiosity flashed her eyes.
"You see little madam that was prince August, the crown prince of the kingdom."
she knelt down on the wet ground not minding on how her skirt is damped with bath water beside Carnia and whisphered getting a kick from the sides from Gina even so she continued whisphering and ignored the continues throws by Gina.
"What?!."
she yelled scaring the nerves of both Gina and Martha that was the closest to her, Martha poked her ears checking if her ears were still working from the sound.
"(Why would he help me.?.)"
from the beginning till the end August never showed the past Carnia that he loved her, he never showed his support or even defend her from people against her.
"maybe.. the prince was bewildered by the little madam's beauty but instead of that what was the big deal of the daughter of the Colemen family?."
Carnia's attention changed after the change of topic, she also wondered who was the little girl being picked on earlier, the past Mylene's hair color is blonde but why is her hair dyed in black. that was the question she could not get out of her head Mylene already hinted that the little girl was a peasant but her mind only focused on her physical appearance that was the reason why she was so sure that the little girl was Mylene who knew Mylene had black hair at first and would one day dye her hair blonde.
