The sun was about to set when Carnia was finished with her lunch, all she had to do all day long was drink milk from a saggy frosting pipe and sleep all day long while pooping from her cloth diaper.
It was almost night time that meant she had to stay awake all night to wait for her abductors like a kind hostage she is. she had nothing to do other than to cry for help the kidnappers might have already prepared to cover her mouth before that happens.
The time was clicking and her kidnapping was appearing, she did not mind to be kindnapped because she was still going to live after all that she was more worried about the money that was being spent to buy her back. She was a money pincher from the past and a total money saver even though she had high cash.
It was already dark outside when a knocking was heared from the door, based from the knockings sound it was her father everytime her father would knock he would knock five times while other maids would only knock three times and yes she does not have anything to do than to observe the smallest details in her life.
His father walked inside holding a book that titled "The Naughty child.", he sat beside Carnia while reading her a book.
The story was about a noble child, she would throw tantrums everywhere and not appreciate her parents efforts to take care of her, One day when she was walking on the town with her knights as bodyguards a mysteriously old lady walked infront of her and begged for alms but the child did not show gratitude she ordered her knights to put the old lady to jail from disturbing a noble ladies time as an excuse, once the knights grabbed the old lady's shoulders the old lady warned the child and said.
"misfortune will come upon those who do not appreciate gratitude" and the old lady quickly turned to dust.
Carlton qouted with his hands and with his left hand he waved it in the air and blue dust appeared, he quickly became embarrased on how detailed he read the book. Carnia appreciated her fathers efforts it really looked like he really cared about her.
The child paid no mind on what the old lady had said and continued with her roaming around the town, The very next day the child accidentaly wandered into the forest by following a rabbit in the streets. It turned out that even the knights did not think highly of her they half assed the whole protecting the child thing to flirt with some chicks at the town.
The child got lost and wandered until it turned dark and there she met a Mother rabbit that thought she was a carrot from the color of her dress, she escaped from that disaster when she hid from a cave, a flock of bats had emerged down the cave scaring the child. She ran and ran until she had stumbled into a rock.
She tried to stand up but her right ankle was strained preventing her from getting up, she cried for help to come into her aid but only the darkness was the one to accompany her. Just when she was about to give up she remembered the old lady had told her yesterday. She knelt down on her knees and arched down her back pleading the old lady for forgiveness in her head.
An old lady appeared in thin air with wings and sharp ears she appeared to be a elf glowing like a firefly, The child looked at the old elf with guilt and shame but at the same time mesmerized at the being infront of her, the old lady touched her hair and vanished, as soon as the old lady dissappeared a group of people with torches had come in the forest looking for the child with her parents, the child apologized for her behaviors in the past and promised to change.
"The end." Carlton said finishing the whole 50 pages that it felt like one million pages from his excessive hand movements, Carnia did not even realize that it was now dark outside.
