The truth is gonna unfold (1)
Leaving De Lin, Lei Kai Xuan got in his car and flashed back on what Xia Xi said. "It's better that she doesn't remember," as he said it to himself and started driving the car.
Xia Xi finished her food, and went to finish her last piece of sketching. Finally, at 12:30am she finished her work and as she was about to leave, she heard some ruffling noise outside. She quickly closed her room light and hid behind the door. The ruffling noise came closer and Xia Xi held her bag in front of her. Her heart beats faster and faster each second. The footsteps came closer to her and the door suddenly opened. Xia Xi stood there still and frozen behind the door, and didn't dare to make a sound. She saw that person walking by her and going to her desk to look for something. Xia Xi held her breath, as she tried to not make a single sound.
After 2 minutes of looking through her office, the person heads out. But at the same time, Xia Xi's phone rang and that person also stopped walking. Xia Xi quickly closed the phone and stayed still. The person turned back around and slowly walked back to Xia Xi's room. Xia Xi's heart beats faster and faster as she hears the footsteps getting closer and closer. Suddenly, there's another noise coming through the front door and that person stops, and hides under the table. "Xia Xi? Are you still here?" as Han Chen called out. He walked in and saw every room light was close. "Did she leave already?" as he checks one more time and leaves. After Han Chen leaves, that person gets up and gets ready to leave too. But all of a sudden, Han Chen came behind her and caught her. "Who are you?"
Han Chen opened the light and saw who it was. "Liang Qing Qing?"..... "What are you doing here?"She looked away from him and ignored his answer. "Xia Xi come out," as Han Chen yelled. He looks at Liang Qing Qing who seems to have changed from the last time he saw her which was after college. Xia Xi walked out and looked at her. "You look very familiar. Who are you?" Liang Qing Qing gave her a look and rolled her eyes. "You don't remember me? I'm Liang Qing Qing, LIANG CHEN'S SISTER," as she emphasizes it. "Liang Chen? I don't know him. I believe you're mistaken here," as Xia Xi looks at her and tries to explain it to her. "I'm a hundred percent sure it's you. Xia Xi the one who caused my brother to die." Xia Xi looks at her confusingly, "Look right here. I really don't know who Liang Chen is and I never cause anyone to die." Lian Qing Qing looks at her in disbelief, "Watch out Xia Xi, I'll make sure you'll get what you did." She walks out leaving Xia Xi and Han Chen alone. Xia Xi turned to Han Chen, "Who was she and who is Liang Chen?" "This is not the place to talk, let's get out of here first."
In the car, Xia Xi looks over to Han Chen who is driving. "Can you say it now? Who is her and what does that Liang Chen have to do with me?" Han Chen pulled over to the side and sighed. "Liang Qing Qing was a friend of mine in college. Her family was also one of the top rank fashion companies in Shanghai, but 5 years ago her brother Liang Chen passed away. No one knows how and as for your relationship with Liang Chen, he was one of your bosom friends even more closer than me. But to be more exact, I don't know much more information about it since you never talk about it after his death." Xia Xi sits there and listens to what Han Chen told her. "So, I know him but how come I don't remember him," as she thought to herself.
One Xia Xi arrived home, she went straight to her bed and lay there thinking. * "It was you who caused my brother to die." Those words kept coming across Xia Xi's brain. She looked across the room and found the sketch hanging there. "Is that Liang Chen," as she stares at the sketch for a really long time. She took out her phone and dials Lei Kai Xuan's phone number.
"Hello?"
"Is that the sketch of Liang Chen?" as Xia Xi questioned him.
There was a long silence between both lines and Xia Xi patiently waited for his reply.
"Who told you that?"
"You don't need to know that. Just answer my question. Is that him?" as Xia Xi asked one more time and this time Xia Xi is scared to know the answer because she doesn't know how she'll react to this if it's really him.
"It's him."
There was a long pause and Xia Xi didn't know what to ask next. "Does he know my relationship with him? Should I trust him?" These are the questions that are going around Xia Xi's head.
"Okay thank you," she ends the phone and lays back down on the bed. She suddenly stood up and tried to search everything in her room that might give her clues to who he might be. But she couldn't find anything. As she was about to give up, she saw the key to that room in her music box. She picked it up and went straight to that room. Xia Xi opened it and it was left how it was since the last time she went in. She walks in and looks at every sketch, but she didn't find anything. As she was about to give up, she saw a box in the corner of the room. She picked it up and opened it. Inside was full of papers of their sketches and pictures. Every sketch was signed by both of them and beside them there was Lei Kai Xuan's signature too. Right under the sketches was their pictures together. Xia Xi looks closely at each of them, but she couldn't remember any. She took the box out and brought it to her room. She hesitates and finally picks up her phone. "Hello?"
