I've arrived at my home. As usual, my mom and dad is not here. well, they will not be here anymore. I lived alone here cause my parents were dead a long time ago.
I throwed my bag and thrown myself to the couch. Today is the most bizzare day. I confiscated a book and and accidentally saw the truth that will genocide the entire city.
Is it real? or is it just a fake that written by a delusional old man? I don't know, and I don't have any clue.
"This is the worst.... "
I took a glance at my bag. The old book showed itself and it felt like it want me to read it once again. But no thanks, I don't want to have nightmare tonight. Well, I think it's too late after I saw the Rotten drawing. it's very disgusting.
I relaxed myself and asleep on the couch.
Monday, 8 April 2020. It's getting near. I attended class as usual while kept the truth hidden from anyone else. It's not like they will believe what I'll said to them. I just did my things as usual.
Wait, I want to make the biggest trouble right? What if I use that "monsters" as my weapon? The whole school will get more trouble!
I'll do some preparation to make sure that my biggest prank will worked out spectacularly!
The bell that ended the school rang. Ma'am Nicky stopped her big mouth and said,
"Okay class, time to go home! No one allowed to stay in school, you hear me!"
I ran outside and went to the farthest and the most quiet empty classroom. I opened the old book and hastily searching for the signs. Yes, the signs before the Rotten back to life.
It is said in the book that Rotten is a monster that can 'infect' you and turned you into a Rotten. Once you turned into Rotten, there's no way back. You will wander aimlessly and when you met human, you just can't endure the starvation feeling you had.
The signs before the Rotten back to life are that will be a heavy rain 4 days before the day.3 days before the day, There will be no sun. And the most important thing is there will be 1 Dove and 1 Crow flying on top of the sky, chasing around wildly in the fated day. If the dove fell down, the Rotten will rise, but if the crow exhausted, the Rotten will still come, but in another way you never expect to.
So the point is, If I want to prove that this book telling the truth or not, I have to wait until the Rotten rise. The signs only will never convinced me. Hm... I might as well cause some trouble in the Art Exhibition...
I close the book and prepared to go home, but suddenly,
"As I expected, you can read THAT book."
The second year girl from yesterday came to me while saying that. What do you mean I can read it? of course I can!
"What are you doing here?"
"I should be the one who ask you, why are you here with the book while thinking about how to revive the Rotten?"
Hey, she knew about the rotten! Then, she must knew something more detailed about it!
"You know about that horrendous creature?"
"It's an old folks. My grandpa wrote the book. He witness the chaos and I will stop it."
It's appeared that she knew what to do. as expected from a diligent girl. But I have things to do. So, I asked her,
"Okay, what do you want?"
"Give me back that book."
"All right, here you go."
I memorized everything that I have to do, so it's fine to give it back. But when I want to get out from the class, she stopped me.
"I already gave back your beloved book."
"You CAN read the book. You have to help me."
This girl.... just who is she?
"I don't have time, and it just some folklore. You have to let it go."
"But it's real! It's happening! The Rotten, they will kill us all!"
She sounds very angry and snapped in front of me. To be honest, that's surprising, because I thought that she is the calm type. I brushed her from my way and said,
"If it's real, I want to see it. When I validated the truth, I will help you, I promise."
Then I left her while she still calling my name. I wonder if this where my popular period started?
