Chapter I : Tang-ina
Three years have passed while the virus and mutants have devour their way through every resistance the humans had. Walls after walls are decimated, countless of bodies are devoured or turned into mutants. In just a short span of time all of we knew was a thing of the past now. Some survive the Catastrophe, most settled with other survivors and created their own groups.
Pasig City, Philippines

A man was walking along the Marcos Highway, cars were parked along this road with some fauna creeping alongside it, painting the area of desolation. These machines used to be the beast who roam around this area. Jeepneys that move on this route are one hell of a ride, back then it can be your one way trip to heaven but now most are abandoned, some broke down due to rust. As The Man walked along this road he was keeping an eye out for any mutants in the area, this road is a very busy highway before the Catastrophe so there is a lot of human traffic during it.
He was making his way to the nearest local grocery store in Ligaya, this one of the stores that he scouted before although some mutants are along the area they are manageable. He moved quickly to reach his destination, he moved from car to car this was to serve as a hiding/protection from other humans. Aside from the mutants, most of the survivors are vigilant of other survivors, there are no laws in this world and humans tend to succumb to their darkest desire . There is a saying in this era "Some may say that mutants are our enemy after the Catastrophe but it is us who is our biggest enemy", well a human in a free world has no difference with a wild beast. Moments later the man moved to the side reaching the periphery of the grocery store and there he sees mutants that roams the parking lot of the grocery store
" 3 Class I mutants and 1 Class II mutants" said by the man.
Mutants are classified according to their class. Class I mutants are the most common mutants to be found after the Catastrophe, these mutants did not mutate to a great extent the virus just turned them into a monster, retaining their muscular and bone system. Class II are mutants that evolve their muscular system and make them more agile and stronger than Class I mutants. All mutants except for Class V mutants are easily attracted to noise.
The man reached on his backpack and brought out his Bluetooth speaker that is wrapped around in layers of cloth, he gently pushed the button that is hidden in the cloth. A muffled noise could be heard after he pressed it.
" Da blEwtOoth spewkers has been connected successfully"
" Never get old " said the man while having a smirk on his face.
He still did not remove the layers of clothes that are covering the speakers, he grabbed his phone from his pocket and connected it to the Bluetooth. "Paired" the device rang out again. After doing that he made sure that his phone volume was turned down. "Small mistakes like this can get you killed " said by the man while shaking his head. After connecting he slowly removed the layers of clothes and threw it away. He moved a few meters from his position and put the speaker in the hood of an abandoned car. After placing it carefully he moved back to his position carefully hiding there then he played music from his phone.
" Yeah, yeah , yeah! ExB! " he played Hayaan mo sila by Ex Batallion, a group of wanna be rappers.
" A shitty music for a shitty world, a perfect combination" whispered by The Man.
The mutants was easily attracted to the noise and ran towards the area where the music plays, although the most troublesome of the mutants was gone that is the Class II the man never tried to attack the other Class I mutants that was left behind, first he adhere to his own set of laws and the First Law is that he should not kill mutants unless necessary that is due to the fact that when one died other mutants would be agitated and thus giving him unnecessary attention. Second, although it has been three years since the Catastrophe killing is still disgusting for a human especially that you have to make sure that you crushed the skull or penetrated it deeply with a bullet for the brain to be smashed to pulp.
Making sure that he was out of the area which mutants can detect him, he quickly ran to the grocery store. He closed the glass door of the grocery store and secured it with chains that he brought. After making sure that he locked it properly he quickly made his way to the fire exit and checked for any signs of other mutants if there are no mutants this will be his way out. Third Law, when running for a re-supply, do not exit where you enter and make another way of exit. Checking the fire exit, he did not see a mutant so this will be his exit. Securing his exit he made his way through the isle and try to find items that are part of the Fourth Law which is if looking for food follow R.E.N.T:
R- Ready to Eat Meals like canned goods, biscuits etc.
E- Expiry dates, make sure that it is not expired or if expired within the acceptable time limit for to be consumed.
N- Not cause for any allergic reaction due to the fact that medicine are hard to come by in the post catastrophic world
T- Time always looks out for time 5-10 minutes of supply run shall be enough.
The man was rummaging section after section and after getting what he needed, he made his way through the fire exit. As he moved his way he hears gunshots and a revving of car engine so he quickly go to the cashier lane and peek to see who are the uninvited guest and then he saw people that wear black uniforms with vests and a pickup truck that has a flag bearing of a Kris and a Rifle that cross together.
" Tangina..... New World Order" gritted by the man.
