A week went by after my conversation with with Maxwell and I was not shocked to find him glaring at me during combat practice especially when General Walker once again pulled me to the side and told me to meet her after class only to find her and Maxwell arguing about something that I suspected I knew what it was about.
General Walker:"...it doesn't matter"
Maxwell:"It most certainly does don't you get it he is a selfish monster he told me himself that he does not have any capacity to feel things like love he only cares about personal benefit"
Me:"He is not wrong knowing this have you made your decision?"
General Walker:"Yes, I have I would like to continue this discussion inside" Maxwell tried to follow but is blocked by the guard and becomes outraged when they don't impede me
Maxwell:"Anastasia what is the meaning of this can't you see he is only going to use you why are your people blocking only me!"
Me:"I think it is very apparent what this means she chose me like I told you would happen"
Maxwell:"Anastasia!" but she doesn't look back and continues to walk inside with me
As soon as the door closes behind us she doesn't say a word until we reached her secret base of operations taking me to a private room within.
Anastasia Walker:"What was that?" cold edge in her voice
Me:"It was me coming up with a plausible reason for why we would be seen together often by the way I didn't know your name was Anastasia very pretty it suits you"
Anastasia:"How do you know that I am agreeing to work with you?" ignoring my compliment
Me:"Don't be childish you wouldn't have brought me back here if you had no intention to pursue this which brings me to my point what level of service will you want me to provide?"
Anastasia:"I thought over what you said before you are right if I don't want to lose to the gods my only course of action would be for me to be too be completely bonded with you"
Me:"Are you saying that you you want to form a permanent spirit contract with me?"
Anastasia:"Yes"
I immediately released my spirit form and begin to pull power from the world and I feel it rejoice as I take my first step into my war against the gods by binding Anastasia soul to me I feel the world use me as a conduit reaching through me to begin refining Anastasia helping to release more of her titan heritage and awakening power from Hecate as she has a darker energy flowing through her and understanding in her eyes her presence is more akin to lich than a common spell caster but she isn't the only one who has been changed I feel my human half under go a qualitative change and it sure as hell wasn't painless it felt like I thrown into a meat grinder and survived my body ached and I rather have had someone club me to death than to have endured that but after it was over I knew I had awakened my titan lineage.
Me:"When you awakened your titan lineage was it this painful?"
Anastasia:"No which lineage did you unlock?"
Me:"How am I supposed to know? all I felt was pain"
Anastasia:"Your supposed to know upon awakening it because you inherit their domain unless..."
Me:"Unless what?"
Anastasia:"Unless you don't have a titan ancestor and therefore are a new one meaning you will need to create your own domain or steal one which is probably why you went through so much pain meaning you you became a lesser titan only slightly better than a human"
Me:"FUCK!"
