Eternium smithing
It's been a nine days since I woke up. During this time I was recovering from my injuries and talking with Charlotte and Kota as they came to visit me a lot. When they weren't with me I was practicing more ways to use magic and mana. I was told that the reason I was alseep for so long is that my mana had gotten directly attacked and went out of control causing damage to my body and fully depleting my mana. When a person completely depletes their mana it causes greatly weakens their body and mind. Pairing that with my already damaged body it's no surprise I was out for so long.
Today I was mostly healed but I couldn't do anything to taxing. I was going to Veron's shop to fulfill his last request of me. I had a good idea of what I wanted to create as I had plenty of time these last nine days. When I arrived at the shop I went straight toward the smelter and threw in the eternium from my inventory and made it into ingots. I had to create a barrier around the smelter and use magic armor to keep me and the shop from burning up.
When the ingots were done I heated them in the forge and started to hammer a few smaller ones into different parts. After creating the smaller pieces I started on the larger but fewer pieces. Once done with those I assembled them and started to enchant the finished product. The thing I made was an arm fully made of eternium. I just made a bone structure of an arm as I didn't have much eternium.
Once I enchanted the arm to only accept my mana for control I activated it and it burrowed into my shoulder piercing and attaching to my bones to allow for the best mana flow. I tested the arm and practiced with it for an hour before leaving the shop. I needed to be in peak condition for what I was going to make. I was going to make a living weapon and for that I needed a massive amount of mana, stamina, and time.
When I got back to the inn Kota and Charlotte were both shocked seeing I had an arm again.
"It's not a real arm, it's a prosthetic." I took of my glove covering my left hand and rolled up my sleeve showing them what I meant.
"Why does it look like bones? What kind of metal is that, I've never seen it before?"
"It's made out of eternium and I needed the rest of it for the weapon I'm going to create and its a waste of metal to make it look normal."
"Eternium?! You mean that godly metal Veron never shut up about?! You lucky bitch!"
"I think you deserve it. You did almost die trying to get it and are probably one of the only people who can even make something with it."
"That doesn't matter! Make me a weapon to dickface!"
"Sure, I'll make you something if there is any left when I'm done or back at the cavern."
"Oh my sweet, beutiful Maverick, you wouldn't mind making me something too right?"
"Yeah as long as there is enough."
"Yes! I love you!"
"Hey, don't kiss me!"
"Oh it's fine."
"*sigh* Whatever. I'm going to sleep. Goodnight."
"Night."
"Do you want a goodnight kiss?"
"No!"
"Ok, but if you change your mind you just have to ask 'kay?"
I didn't respond and just went to my room. I was alseep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
