Chapter 12: Guild Request
Haze watched the Arena load on his computer screen as he loaded the chat window to [Eternal Fantasy].
There was a few windows such as <trade>, <befriend>, <join guild>, <chat> and <block>.
[Eternal Fantasy has sent you a chat... Would you like to accept?]
"Yes, I can't think of a reason why not." Haze clicked accept before a chat window appeared in front of him on the <god smith> application. There was an avatar of a fat man eating a donut next to [Eternal Fantasy's] picture.
[Chat Window]
Eternal Fantasy: Hey... You want to join my guild... If you win, you can be the guild leader.
Haze: I don't know why I would join of a guild of a person I'm about to beat. What's in it for me?
Eternal Fantasy: Did you read the manual?
Haze: Why? So I could waste my time reading a thousand pages? It's hard when someone's trying to kill you...
Eternal Fantasy: You lost the manual?
Haze: I may have left it in my home...
Haze took a deep breathe and pulled out a chip from his bag and looked down at Rail on his lap. Her eyes were closed like she was focusing on preparing for hte battle. In the last battle, they seemed nonchalant and unfocused... Where they worried they might lose or something?
Haze: Anyways, what's the point of a guild?
Eternal Fantasy: Once we get 10 people we can do something called a guild mission.... Did you hear about the companies that make angels, devils, etc?
Haze: How can a company make an angel? Is there other applications out there?
Eternal Fantasy: Don't know... That wasn't in the manual. However, if you don't help me I'm screwed man. I don't have the credits to upgrade my characters. With a large enough guild we can each earn ten credits if we achieve victory in a guild mission.
Haze: I got to talk to you after the match. If I do, I hope you take me seriously as your leader!
Eternal Fantasy: I might be dead by tonight. I'm not the best at designing characters.... I have to kill a deomn tonight or it's over.
[Eternal Fantasy] has requested to <befriend> you... Would you like to accept?

"Sure, as long as he doesn't trick me with joining his guild I can befriend him." Haze accepted [Eternal Fantasies] friendship as their characters appeared on the field.
Zack, or [Lotion] appeared with Mace and Rail as he got a request to name his fourth god. He put in the name [Taint] since it seemed to be the exact opposite of what her ability was of seduction. The match started it's countdown a second later. He looked down at his keyboards and wondered how he could dictate what his gods could do. The only thing he saw was a chat window.
"I'll just trust them, and see if they can win..." Haze gulped as [Lotion] walked forward with [Taint] stanidng next to him.
She was still wearing the school girl outfit, but looked a tiny bit more cartoonish.
"Let's kill them..." Zack said as he nodded his head. "Mace, you are the most useless in battle. Rub my shoulders when it's over."
"How about you seduce them and I stare?" Rail crossed her arms and spoke through her game character as [Ant Life] charged towards them and ran around in circles. "However, where the hell is the new god."
"He's probably invisible. I'm using an invisibility domain that hides me... However, [Ant Life] seems to know where we are... He probably has someone with invisibility and detection..."
"I got the solution." Zack stepped forward and swung quickly drew his blade before his left and right arm blurred in every direction possible. He cut into the thousands of doppelgangers of [Ant Life] as the [Ginger] and [Lime] charged towards Rail and [Taint].
The distance between the two girls was about one hundred feet, which was about the size of the grass plain they'd spawned on.
[Lime] stared intimately at Rail and pulled out her sword as a shield activated around her body from a skill called [flocking barrier]. It was supposed to act as a shield and draw anything in that was in one meter of it. Her sister also had the same secondary skill, but had [blade master] as her primary skill.
The only problem was that when [Lime] got within three meters of [Rail] she suddenly fell and dropped dead. [Taint] on the other hand activated her [seductress] skill and caused hearts to spin over [Ginger's] head.
The game seemed to have special effects that the real world didn't have like the heart effect. It seemed like it was completely going in Haze's favor before a large explosion burst into the sky. [Taint] and Rail instantly were killed as there faces were [X]ed out on the side of the computer screen.
Haze jumped in fright as he looked back at his two girls to make sure they were still okay. Rail opened her eyes and coughed as Lapis somewhat jumped but smiled as she looked up at Haze's countenance.
"No worries, it only hurts a little bit..."
"Yeah, my first time sitting on your lap was more painful." Rail crossed her arms as Zack kept attacking [Ant Life] with the sword crescents from his blade.
[Ant Life] seemed to have a new strategy of making a triangle around [Lotion] before Zack finally slashed at the ground with a sword crescent. A tile shot up into the air and tripped one doppelganger before all the doppelgangers behind him fell down onto the floor.
Zack smiled and tossed his blade forward at the one doppelganger that moved first. [Lotion] had noticed that one of the doppelgangers seemed slightly faster.
[Ant Life] got stabbed in the head and turned into dust before Maze jumped in front of Zack as she spread her arms. A large explosion followed before her body flew back and bounced against the tournament stage.
"He's ... he's right there! Kill him!"
"A beautiful lady asking twice is worse than a bad anime." Zack used a sword crescent into the area where the explosion went off. A cloud of smoke shot upwards before the last box on [Eternal Fantasy's] side was [X]ed out.
[Haze has won the battle!]
[Reward: three god credits]
