Chapter 146: Don't Hit Me

"No… no," Kiara said, shaking her head. Holding his hands, she pulled him a little closer. He looked down at her shivering hands that were holding his and her reaction was astonishing to him. He had absolutely no idea what had happened to Kiara. His gaze silently stared at her, waiting for her to let him see what it was that had brought out such an extreme reaction within her. "You have no idea, Ayden… You have no idea that these moments… these moments are nothing less than unbelievably magical to me. Perhaps, you will not understand and I will struggle to explain… but this is… this is that dream that I have been seen for years which I never thought could ever come true." 

Rising to her feet, she looked at him, smiling through her tears of joy. "You are that dream that I never thought could ever come true, Ayden. You are that dream."
