Chapter 339: Broken

"My baby. How did this happen." Max's mother broke down into tears, as she stared at her baby girl looking so lost on the bed.

Max isn't looking any better than his sister. His gaze remains fixated on her.

Emily refused to talk, eat or move. 

It has been 2 days since they returned from the hospital to his house and there's no improvement so far.

He would hold the girl to his chest till she fell asleep, and tried to coax her to eat a bit, but the more she was unresponsive, the more he felt like he's going to lose his mind. 

Now he feels like he couldn't handle this alone and honestly….

Even if his mortal enemy comes up with a solution, he will jump at it. He just wished to see his sister better.

She wasn't physically hurt, aside from the setback of not being able to hold something steadily, not to mention painting or drawing. 

The latter was the reason Emily was like this.
