Muichiro and Yuirichi Birth are now earlier than Tanjiro. So after the event of Muzan and Tanjiro training and start the actual series, Muichiro would be 16 and Tanjiro would be 15, so in this story, Muichiro is older than Tanjiro in one year. And his a girl in this story.

(MC POV)
Staying at the two twins woodcutter house. We manage to catch our sleep and be rejuvenated in the morning.
Yet, my problem wasn't...
We're discussing of what'll be our decision to the twins who've had no parents. Although we were not related or knew each other, nonetheless, this is our responsibility, and I knew that for the fact of being a human person.
Liability? Being a human...?
I didn't know what was the reason, but, I'll know I was doing the right thing...
And Kanae and Shinobu were tacitly agreed to it as they nurse to health Yuichiro.
Yuichiro was a short young man with long, straight hair of a dark black colour that fades to pale turquoise the closer to his waist it goes. He wore it loose with two clumps protruding slightly from each side of his head, a set of marginally shorter hair left down to frame his face, and unruly bangs over his forehead. He also possessed large, mint-green eyes, a trait, like his hair, that he shared with his twin sister Muichiro.
Muichiro, the little girl is the one who we saw decapitating a demon with her petite body last night.
Such an amazing feat for an eleven-years-old like her.
It might've been because of rage and anger that she can produce that kind of strength.
Even Shinobu who was always talkative to me was depressed thinking how an eleven-year-old overpowered her.
Obviously, Kanae notices that and commanded Shinobu a various job inside the house, so she can wonder her mind off.
"So... What do we do?"
I asked.
"I still haven't thought about that, at least for now..."
Kanae pondered towards my question.
"Maybe we could send them in demon slayer care. Just like the two twins we send last 2 days."
Shinobu voiced out her thoughts.
"Uhmm... Actually, we were already been invited by lady Amane-san."
Kanae and Shinobu looked at Muichiro who was silent in the corner.
"Then why didn't the two of you accept it? Being a kid in the middle of the woods are dangerous. Do the two of you knew that?"
Muichiro avoids Shinobi stare and reply.
"Well... big brother doesn't seem like... No, he detests it... Lady Amane-san always visited us, but, big brother would always shoo her away."
"He did?!"
Shinobu shouted as she stood up.
"Quiet down."
"But, Nesan..."
"It's okay. They must've had a reason that Yuirichi is refusing."
Muichiro started explaining what is the reason behind her big brother refusal on this "Amena-sama".
It's just like stereotypes where kids grow and look at how the world works.
Yuiricho, after their parents died last year he held a view of cold and impassive outlook on life opposite to Muichiro who was emotional and kind-hearted child.
He blamed that his parents died because of their hardworking and selfness nature, so he adopted a cold outlook to anybody just to keep himself and his brother alive.
Although it was a selfish act of a caring brother, Kanae and Shinobi couldn't understand what he was standing for.
They might understand its surface, but the depth of it, they are clueless.
As one of those people, I understood him at any angles.
Not necessarily or necessarily of having a cold outlook in the world, he was still right in the end.
Needless to say, If you can't protect yourself, no one would protect you and your loveones.
You're just a person who stupidly followed fate until the end.
I smirk inside my kitsune and thought.
I think I might like this kid...
Days passed...
It might've an impulse decision or act of strong to how to raise a child.
So I decided to adopt the two and live with me on the mountain.
Muichiro was visibly happy as she thanked me multiple times.
Yuichiro was quite into the idea but didn't voice his opinions. It might've been about the incident about the demon and thought that he couldn't protect his sister in danger, so he just accepted it and let his sister be happy.
Kanae is happy about it as she smiles at me.
On the other hand, Shinobu is not, she says that I've only adopted the two because of Muichiro being a vulnerable prey of child abuse.
Veins popped in my forehead.
You tomboy...! I can abuse any child I wan-!
Bang...!
I punched my face as I thought of that.
With how impactful my punch in my face, the wind resonate inside the house making the rest looked at me confused.
"Are you okay..."
"Y-yeah... Nothing to worry about."
What were you thinking, Kizuato!
I lampoon inside and busy myself in some matters, so my mind wanders off somewhere.
Another night came and another day greeted us to start the journey home.
