The Great Summoning
Dian Xianli walked to the backyard. He spotted Dian Juewang was in the middle of preparing lunch. The maid noticed him and bowed. Her countenance got back to the usual cold and expressionless. Dian Xianli nodded back and proceed to walk.
"Juewang ..., call Allescar and Therese to come to meet me after you finish with your work."
"H-huh? Yes, Young Master."
Dian Juewang seemed flustered as she didn't expect that Xianli would give her an order. She thought that he would punish her for what she said this morning. But it seems that he didn't think about that matter at all.
This temperament of Dian Xianli was one hundred and eighty degrees different from the usual. If before, when a maidservant had done something to make him angry, then he would have really made her cry in suffer by a series of punishments.

Although the [Magma Smith(Y)] was only an Uncommon Rarity, this card could only be summoned with Yellow Crystal. But no need to think about it thoroughly, this was just some unorthodox card with a unique effect. Nevertheless, Xianli could summon both of the Rare Card, so it'd be fine.
The two Rare cards were [Rebecca - Tainted Arrow(G)] and [Khabid - Spineless Shadow(P)]. Having base stats of 6.1 and 5.9, these two Rare characters was the real deal.
Base stats 6.1 means that her strength was at least on the early Grand Knight level. And the Spineless Shadow with stats of 5.9 was equal to the Peak of Knight!
A cultivator of this stage was a rare sight on this part of the continent. And Xianli now had three of them, including Allescar - War Veteran.
Not to mention that [Arianne Auburn(R)] already reached the stage equal to Knight King. It was a bizarre thing to see such a high-leveled cultivator on the tiny kingdom such as the State of Bai. Dian Xianli himself didn't realize the scary thing regarding his creature card.
'Summon [Khabid - Spineless Shadow(P)]'
Xianli though in his mind with the purple card on his hand. A purple magic circle-like thing was shown on his vision, he moved the magic circle to the right side of the pool and tap Summon. Followed by Catherine asking for confirmation.
[Does Host wish to summon [Khabid - Spineless Shadow(P)]? It will cost you 6 Void Crystal or 4 Purple Crystal, Ahh ..., Host doesn't have any colored crystal, so I will deduct the Void Crystal needed ..., confirm?]
'Yes, I confirm it. Just summon everything that I want to summon!'

The purple card turned into purple light then into a silhouette of a black-clothed person wearing a shrouded tight-fitted robe.
The character materialized completely and then it transformed into an assassin's like a thin person. Wearing a combination of a black and purple hooded robe, he cloaked his body and only a little slit on the eyes that show his black iris with a purple ring that shone sinister light.
The black-robed man eyed the yard and then looked at Dian Xianli who sat on the wooden-tiled terrace. He knelt and spoke in a deep, almost emotionless voice.
"Khabid, pay allegiance to the Lord ..."
"Umu ..., save the introduction for later, I will summon more of you."
He then took [Rebecca - Tainted Arrow(G)] and then materialize it with the cost of 7 Void Crystal. This time Catherine didn't say anything and summon it without any confirmation window popped out. Saving much more time than before.
A pale green light then materialized into a figure of a woman. This woman was an elf, yes, Myscreat also had those long-eared noble race of the forest. Because almost all of the illustrators in the company was virgin 30-years-old male, they seem poured most of their inner desire when drawing this character.
The eyes that shone with brilliant green light like an emerald, the lustrous golden hair was tied into a single pigtail braid. A perfect face with the most balanced golden ratio. Body proportion that was impossible to occur if not because of god's intervention.
Truly a race boasted for its beauty. The strange thing was a chained iron collar tied on her neck.
They were God's most beloved races. But because of their beauty, that calamity befell on their race.
The tragedy of the Elven race in Myscreat World happened after the First Arc of the game main quest. The Bloodthrone Succession.
The main story of the event was the civil war that happened in the Eschart Empire that ruled over Illningrad Sub-continent for the last thousand years.
The late Emperor had appointed the 9th Prince to be the Crown Prince and his successor to inherit the Bloodthrone. However, as cliche as it could be, the other princes and princesses didn't approve this, especially the 1st Prince.
Thus, after their Father Emperor passed away from the world, all of the Princes and Princesses join hand and attacked the Capital and fight their blood brother the 9th Prince and his follower. Some of the late emperor's loyal retainers also protect the Crown Prince, but they were overwhelmed by the enemy's numbers.
The rebellion was successful, the 9th Prince was defeated and killed just before he sat on the Bloodthrone.
However, a new conflict erupted.
Who will be the one who sits on the Bloodthrone? This question was always on their mind even before they march the rebellion to the Imperial Palace.
The Princes and Princesses who just a second ago worked together turn their swords against each other. This caused a civil war that lasts to ten years of chaos in the Illningrad. This civil war brought an end to the supreme reign of the Eschart Empire, the Princes and Princess then separate themself into different kingdom and nation.
At the end of the civil war, there were thirteen kingdoms founded by the Princes and Princesses of the collapsing Empire. But the most notorious kingdom was the kingdom founded by the coalition of 35th Prince and 17th Princess. Later known as the Orcatrocious Kingdom.
Before talking about this kingdom and also the calamity of the elf race, there was a detail to be added in that story.
First of all, Eschart Empire was the supreme ruler of the Illningrad Sub-continent which houses myriad races and species. For the sake of diplomatic reason, the numerous vassal state of the Empire sent their most beautiful woman from their race to be the Emperor concubines.
Although, many of them become concubines in name only, as long as they 'sacrificed' their most beautiful daughter to the emperor then their nation would stay safe and prosper.
The last Eschart Emperor was a licentious man who had a strange fetish. He was a person who greatly interested in fur, feather, scale, carapace, shell, and other animal features. As he ascended to the Bloodthrone, he appointed a Blue Octopus woman as his Empress. And then filled his harem with demi-human women.
Only a minority of his children were human-like as he spent most of his time in the harem with the monster-women.
This 35th Prince and 17th Princess were also from the demi-human descendant. The 35th Prince was a half Red Orc, with a big muscular body and reddish pig-like skin and hideous tusk gilded with gold and engraving.
He built the Orcatrocious Kingdom and made his older sister the 17th Princess as the Queen.
The 17th Princess also has a demi-human mother, she was a half Centipedal. Her upper body was a beautiful woman, but down below was that of centipede limbs and tail.
Their kingdom was well known as the most despicable country. Because they captured the other 'beautiful' species such as the Elven race, Human race, Spirit race, Fox race, Cat-man, Dragonoid, etc to be slaves. And the Orc King even didn't spare his blood-related sisters, he captured them and made them his sex slave.
And thus, with their princess captured by vile Orc King. The Prairie Elves, Dresdent Elves, and Deeplake Elves besieged the Orcatrocious Kingdom capital. But their resistance was somehow rendered useless against the solid city wall and defenses. In the end, the licentious Orc King captured the women and slain the men.
He then began the slave-trading business with his best commodity was the elves. He even sold his elf sister after he got tired of her. Although sold as used goods, an elf that inherited the blood of the emperor still auctioned with a sky-high price.
The elven race fate was decided after that, even after the Orcatrocious Kingdom got defeated, the nobles from the other twelve Kingdom also had an abnormal interest in elven sex slaves. Thus the elven slaves became the most sought commodity in the subcontinent after the Bloodthrone Succession.
The Bloodthrone Arc was like this, If they siding the rest of twelve kingdoms then the Orcatrocious Kingdom was the main enemy and players must defeat them at all cost. The most bizarre thing was that the Centipedal Queen who didn't get enough screen time turn out to be the hidden last boss. But if they sided with Ocratrocious Kingdom, then the First Prince who built the Human Alliance will be the main enemy.
Dian Xianli knows about this quest storyline because it was presented to him in the board meeting last year when the game was still on the early development stage. This storyline was just too peculiar for him to forget. In fact, it would be strange for him to forget about this topic.
Yes, he knew that this game was game means for adult, but really ..., this third-rate scenario get approved by the majority of the shareholders? And to become the main quest at that? Dian Xianli shook his head and continue with the summoning, he then proceeds with summoning six more Creature Card. They were the [Magnet Hand(Y)], [Beast Tamer(G)], [Umiko(B)], [Steam Merchant(R)], and lastly the [Mind Mage(B)].
"Mitra greets lord." Said a brown haired petite girl with a strange-looking metal pole on her back.
"I'm Zhu Rong." A woman in a beast hide armor which only covered her vital part stated while crossing her arm on the chest.
"Umm ..., pleased to finally meet you, my lord. My name is Kanata, and I'm a Umiko. Thank you for summoning me here. Although I am maybe not that strong, I will work hard to meet your expectations." A clumsy, talkative maiden wearing coastal kimono introduced herself.
"Nicholas, at your service." An aged man with the butler-like appearance and a top hat bowed with elegance.
"Ra'yen greets Lord." And lastly, the dark blue-robed man with black turban and full-face beard lowering his head slightly.
Xianli nodded and stopped the summoning with just this. He spent 36 Void Crystal for this summoning, not mentioning that they need at least one equipment card to make them more useful. His 16 Void Crystal could cover their lack of equipment.
In fact, it was unnecessary to equip every Creature Card with an Equipment Card. A character from Creature Card could use the weapon from this world. However, after he knew that even the most Common Equipment like [Sword of Blaze(R)] was regarded as a mid-tier artifact in this world. he felt that he need to give them proper equipment from the Equipment Card.
Fighting barehanded. Yes, they could do that because a weapon or equipment wasn't compulsory to begin with. If they were from mage class like Arianne and Therese, they could be put to use immediately without the needs of an Equipment Card.
A character from Creature Card was a being that had achieved an amazing feat to be recognized and recorded in the history of Myscreat. Even if it was just a puny bug or a civilian who rebel, if their lore were available in the Myscreat's history then they would be a character card.
With that explanation, there was no way a Creature Card to be a weakling. Even without equipment, they were already strong enough to fight their enemies. Though some cards may be more superior to another, it wasn't to the point of total suppression.
Depending on the Duelist strategy. Even a Legendary Creature Card could still be killed by sacrificing hundreds of Common Creature Card.
There were four distinct sub-categories in the Character Card. And it was not categorized by their race, though some were written as such in each card. But before that, there was a sub-category that divides them and made the database more clearer about the effect and each card's characteristics.
The first was the Individual Card, a card that summoned only one creature. All of the Creature Card that Xianli already summoned was categorized in this.
The second was Creature/Effect Card, this card had an additional feature that would work under certain conditions. The example of this card was the [Messenger of Peace(W)], with it's Pacify effect.
Third, Army Troop Card. Sometimes in the Myscreat's Annals, there was an entry that not mentioning a name of an individual or a certain class, but the army and the troops itself. This card was something that would summon a great number of people in one go.
And lastly, there was a Conditional Card. This card had a requirement to fulfill before it could be summoned. This card sometimes had an amazing effect or maybe a very strong individual before they were regarded as a Heroes.
"Let's wait for a while until your friend arrives." Xianli decided to explain what they had to do after Therese and Allescar arrived. "Meanwhile, how about some tea?"
