Chapter 6: A Quick Showdown
Dave's mansion was in an executive village. One could not deny that it was a mansion because of its structure. If one would estimate how vast it was, it could be said that it could be used for a soccer game and could be used for a concert. In the front gate, the guards were heavily armed. They had a rifle on their left shoulder and a double eagle tucked on their waist. The gate was so huge that it looked like no one would be able to climb it.
As the car where Dave and his visitors were, arrived, the maids and all the household helpers in the mansion lined up in the front door. When they saw that Dave got out of the car, they immediately bowed.
"Good Afternoon, Sir!"
"Good Afternoon." Dave replied as he helped Shyla carry Fate.
Dave asked the maids to look after Shyla and Fate and to give them everything they need.
"You okay?" Dave asked Timotheo.
"I guess I have to make some calls. We have a test and I have to tell my teachers that I won't be able to come to school today."
"You are more worried about it than your situation right now. Ha ha ha!" Dave said laughably.
The two headed to a room and took some rest after eating. Dave told Timotheo to go to the gym once he was awake. He left some clothes for work out for Timotheo.

Timotheo found Dave making some leg work in the gym of the mansion. Timotheo did some stretching for he knew they would do some work out. But it looked like he was wrong.
When Timotheo was about to do some hand stretching, Dave used his gift to run in front of Timotheo to give him a surprise punch onto the chest. Timotheo was startled but was able to dodge it.
"Hey! What the?!" Timotheo said with anger.
"From now on, you will be trained by me. I know you are good at brawl but that's not enough. And you are to use now your gift for you will be facing enemies with gifts that are far superior than yours I guess."
"Superior? I told you already. This gift is of no good use to me." Timotheo said.
"Now I really am doubting if you were the top student of our school."
Dave tightened his knuckes. In his current posture, he was like a ninja ready to make some sneak attack.
"Bear this in mind.'The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.' Leo Tolstoy once said." Dave said.
After saying that, Dave gave Timotheo a kick on his right face. It made Timotheo get out of balance. He nearly dropped to the floor. Good thing was he was able to prop his right hand. He was about to stand and had already clenched his right hand to give his friend a knock out punch when Dave went to his back stealthly and did a bear hug grappling position.
Smash!!
The impact almost made Timotheo unconcious. Dave let go of Timotheo when a kick landed on his stomach surprisingly. He stepped back and felt that something was not right.
"That felt good." Timotheo said, gasping and trying to stand. He was kind of groggy due to how Dave attacked.
"Looks like you are finally using it." Dave said.
"What? My gift?"
"No. Your brain." Dave said, grinning.
"You're wrong. I'm using both of them."
The two exchanged blows in such speed. Timotheo used his gift to stop time to catch up to Dave. They stopped to breathe for a minute.
"You're getting used to it."
"Yeah, I know. Thanks to you."Timotheo said.
When Timotheo was about to make his super-quick-made-up plan, something hit on his head that made him knocked out. Timotheo dropped dead to the floor, unable to fight anymore.
"Oopps!! I went too far. Got to bring him to Shyla now." Dave said to himself anxiously.

Timotheo opened his eyes like a kid who woke up from a good slumber. His head ached but not too much. When he sat up, he saw Dave fidgeting on his smartphone.
"You are finally awake. Sorry I got too far lately. He he he."Dave apologetically said.
"Do I really have to be that strong?" Timotheo asked.
"Yes, you have too. For the sake of the world."
"Then, I will be."
"Stopping time, huh." Timotheo said to himself, looking at his hands.
Timotheo felt the burden on his shoulders that time somehow. His conviction amazed Dave. Then, suddenly a loud shriek next to their room was heard.
