Chapter 11: Chapter 10 - Not a Chance
"What do you mean Atty Mendrez?" Mr. Samuel asked.
" According to the agreement, this clause was made by your late father Mr. Samuel, he or she must be born from the first spouse. He or she must be acknowledge as a legitimate son or daughter by both of the biological parents"
"What the hell! Bakit hindi namin alam ito?" Mrs. Raya asked.
"You never asked me about it, you just invited me here" Atty. Mendrez said.
"Attorney you should have informed me first!" Mr. Samuel, malamang napahiya siya. Masama ang tingin nito kay Shane.
"So I am qualified" Spade Yu said while looking at my sister, napataas ang kilay ko, ngumisi si Flame.
"Do your mom acknowledge you as her son?" Natahimik ang lahat, that's right my little sister burned them toasted. Hindi lingid sa kaalaman namin na Tita Irene has a complicated relationship with his son.
Noon, Spade knew na may ibang pamilya ang Daddy niya but he didn't tell her mom, he even choose the mistress of his Dad while her Mom was on depression dahil sa ginawa pangangaliwa ng Daddy niya.
"Of course" Spade answered.
" Really Mr. Spade Yu? Little trivia Mr. Spade alam mo bang si Tita Irene ang nagsabi sa amin ng clause na yan, she cares for us she doesn't want us to have a connection with your family" Nakita ko ang pag igting ng panga ni Spade, his pissed.
" Attorney is there a way para ma cancel ang agreement na yan?" Flame asked. She look serious now, gagawin namin ang lahat para matigil na ang kalokohan natu.
Ngumiti si Attorney Mendrez.
"Pag hindi pa ito natuloy sa generation natu all agreements will be cancelled, Mr. Sandro and Madam Violet wants the fourth generation to choose whom they wanted to marry"
"That's good to hear" Flame said.
"What if I have a proof that my mother acknowledge me as his son, is the agreement still valid?" Spade asked. What's wrong with him? I don't like the way he look at my sister.
"Not a chance Mr. Yu" Flame answered back.
"Still valid, are you planning on marrying one of them Mr. Yu?" Atty Mendrez asked.
"Yes I'll fulfill my grandpa's wish"
Bigla akong kinabahan sa sinabi ni Spade, this man is one of the reason kung bakit nag suicide si Flame, hindi ako makakapayag na mainvolve ang kapatid ko sa kanya.
"Tita Irene will never acknowledge you knowing what you did to her, that's despicable! You already choose the mistress and your Father why not stick to it, don't you dare disturb the peaceful life of Tita Irene or else the Lamaste will not spare you" Lamaste is a powerful family of the South.
"I am not afraid Miss Allastre" Napangisi ako sa sagot ni Spade.
"You should Mr. Yu coz I'll do my best maprotektahan lang ang Tita ko unlike you" I said coldly.
"Flame let's go" Tumayo na ako at umalis.
"Not a chance Mr. Spade Yu" Flame said at sumunod na agad sa akin.
My Tita Irene Lamaste is the sister of my mother's husband which is my stepdad Earl Lamaste. Kahit pa na hindi namin sila kadugo ng brother ko we treat each other like true blood family kaya di kami ni Blood nagkulang sa pagmamahal sa father side namin.
"Don't you think titigil na sila?"
"Wala yan sa vocabulary ni Shane, let's wait and don't let our guards down"
"Okay Ate"
Bumalik ako sa office pagkatapos nun. I dialled Tita Irene's number. This is stressing me as if there something I can't control, bat ba kasi nagpupumilit ang Spade na yun, Alam kong its either Cerise or Flame ang papakasalan niya I will never allow it, Ang mga kapatid ako pipili ng papakasalan nila hindi yung susunod sila sa isang arrange marriage. I am really wondering kung bakit ginagawa ito ni Spade, as far as I remember sa past life ko he dispised our family.
"Rozen?"
"Tita Irene"
"Is everything okay?" Tita Irene is a very soft spoken person, mabait, maganda at succesful sa career. Siguro gago lang talaga si Mr. Samuel Yu para maghanap siya ng iba.
"Spade is insisting that you acknowledged him as his son, he'll get a proof to prove these to us"
I heard Tita sighed.
"So his coming for me?" Tita asked, I can sense Tita's happiness. I can understand its been years mula ng makita nito ang anak.
"I guess so Tita, Tita I'm worried ayoko kasing pilitin ang mga kapatid ko sa agreement na yan"
"How about you? Do you mind marrying my son?" Nagulat ako sa tanong ni Tita.
"I'm sorry Tita but I can't. Someone might kill your son"
Natahimik ang kabilang linya.
"Hija if ever I gave my son my acknowledgement who do you think he might marry?"
"Its either Cerise or Flame, but Cerise is inlove with someone! and Flame ayokong ma involve siya sa pamilyang iyon Tita, I'm sorry unless one of them will fall inlove with your son.."
I heard Tita sighed.
"Okay I know now what to do, don't worry Rozen no one will get hurt"
"Thanks Tita, keep safe"
Sumakit bigla ang ulo ko, na s stress ako sa mga nangyayari. Kahit pa anong iwas ko noon sa pamilya na Yu we are still entangled with each other.
"Are you okay?" Napatingin ako sa pintu, I look at him coldly. Sino nag papasok sa kanya?
"What the hell are you doing in here?" tatawagin ko na sana ang secretary ko ng magsalita ito.
"Your secretary was not on his chair, I think his doing something" Tama inutusan nga pala nito si Geo na puntahan si Crimson.
"Zenon Smith anong kailangan mo sa akin?"
"Bawal bang bisitahin ang fiancee ko?" Mas sumakit ang ulo ko sa sinabi nito.
I look at him coldly.
"How many times do I have to tell you na you're not my freaking fiancee, I am dating Raige Dela Vega so leave me alone!" Parang di man lang ito naapektuhan sa sinabi ko.
Tumayo ito, tinaasan ko ito ng kilay.
"Stop where you are Mr. Smith wala kang karapatan na lumapit sa akin" Tumigil ito at tinitigan ako.
"Rozen ginawa mo na sa akin dati tu, dating someone to catch my attention alam ko naman na babalik at babalik ka sa akin" I sneered at him.
"And I was so stupid back then! But still I'm thankful that you were ignoring me those times atleast I never dated you" I said. I look at him mockingly.
"Stop pretending Rozen, comeback to me" He said seriously, siguro kung dati pa niyang sarili ang sinabihan tuwang tuwa na siguro siya pero alam na niya ang mga plano nito. Damn you! Zenon Smith.
"Never Mr. Smith, not even in my wildest nightmare" I said coldly.
