Chapter 44: 44: Results
After his lunch he returned to his abode he started to train in his body cultivation, as he had just eaten the food his body cultivation speed was quite fast.
He cultivated for two hours before his body started to wear out and he had to stop. Later, he went to the library to continue his understanding on Alchemy and other topics which he got interested in like the Demonic beasts and Magic tool crafting.
After staying in the library for 2 to 3 hours, in the evening time he returned to his abode to continue his cultivation of spirit.
The next day in the morning at 9 am, another professor had been assigned to start his lecture on demonic beasts, but this lecture was also slight helpful to him, other than having the beast shown in he illusion form it was nothing different from what the library books had entailed.
Knave had thought that the lectures would help him firm his studies but it was a total let down. Even when his most anticipated Alchemy lecture was given.
In that lecture only the explanation of the verbs and different ways of finding out about the ages of herbs were thought, nothing about how the Alchemy process was done or the spirit fire was shown.
So this one week of learning was too boring for him as he had already understood all this from the library.
Maybe Vanessa and the elders had not considered his thirst of knowledge, the books on most of the topics y would be taken in this one week was already covered by him on his own.
Vanessa had thought that going to this one week of lecture would be helpful for him, but what they didn't know was that he had already memorized the basics and he was going towards the advanced stages of this topics.
Still, after one week of learning the elders had already designed a test for them to find out on which subjects these new disciples would be better at.
After finishing the test he kept on his daily schedule as the result would be given tomorrow. What he didn't know was that his results showed that he was good in all the fields but his real expertise was in Alchemy and Tool crafting.
After seeing his results some of the Alchemy teachers in the academy were quite delighted to find a disciple like him in this batch and after checking his history they found out that he had comprehended all this on his own after coming to the academy.
So after quite a discussion among the elderly, an alchemist known as Elder Fryer was selected to be his mentor as he was not only the best in alchemy in the outer ring of the Academy but he also had a good foundation in magic tool crafting.
After looking at Knave's results, he knew that even though the kid had self studied for two months, his knowledge was quite ahead of the other kids of his age and he was quite satisfied with it.
So after a lot of endeavor with the other professors in the alchemy department, he had come up to be the best metor to teach him about the basics of the Alchemy to firm his foundation.
As for the learning of magic craft, he still had some knowledge about it, so he would also teach him something about magic crafting but later in the advanced stages he would have to find another teacher from the academy that specializes in that field but this was all not know by Knave.
The next day when Knave went to get his results, he was held back by the mentor even after getting his results.
He was told that it was the kind of important matter which would decide his future. Hearing this Knave was quite intrigued and so he decided to wait patiently.
After everybody was given the results the mentor said some encouraging words for their cultivation and said to continue on their path according to their own will, most of the kids were quite hyper because now they could select their own cultivation techniques, which they had been waiting for
