My name is Thomas Smith I am a rogue cultivator born the Coral island, as I am old and had already reached the max potential I could reach with my talent as a 5th rank talent I had decided to write this book for all that will like to understand about the immortal path.
Spirit veins:
It's is one of the essential means through which we can absorb the energy present in the air, without it being able to cultivate is almost impossible.
Spirit veins are always present in the body but they only awaken only when the body reaches the age of 10.
Spirit veins are further divided into 5 different ranks which also represents the future potential of the cultivator the rank goes from high to low
Rank 5: The person only has one elemental branch vein in his body, the highest he could reach without any fortunate encounter is mid-tier Shackle Realm.
Rank 4: The person has two elemental branch vein in his body, the highest he could reach without any fortunate encounter is peak-tier Shackle Realm.
Rank 3:The person has three elemental branch vein in his body, he can enter the Spirit refining stage and without any encounter can reach mid-tier Spirit Refining cultivator and if his luck is high he could furthermore enter the late stages of Spirit refining.
Rank 2: The person has four elemental branch vein in his body, there is no limit placed in their cultivation and they can reach higher realms if they put forth they're all in cultivation.
Rank 1: The person has five elemental branch vein in his body, they are even considered heavenly chosen as they have no problem in choosing either arts for cultivation or speed of cultivation because of their veins.
I will now define why there are differences in immortal and what they signify, It is considered lucky to have one person born with spirit vein in ten thousand people but this is just the start.
As I said the spirit vein helps us absorb the energy but the absorption is done by the branches present on the vein so if you only have one branch it will obviously absorb a limited amount of energy as compared to 3 or 5. It is not that there is no way of increasing the speed of absorption or to increase the branches of veins it just requires heaven-defying treasures or legendary pills, a person born with 5 veins are born of ten thousand cultivators.
As it is written the branches are elemental in nature, as the spirit energy is all-encompassing it consists of different elements like fire, water, earth, wind, metal, ice to name a few. A cultivator can obviously use all kinds of elements with his power but if he has the vein for that element it can help him get twice the result for half the effort.
It also is necessary for future cultivation if you can have a cultivation manual which is similar to your aptitude it can increase your absorption speed, but it is also possible for the opposite to happen if you cultivate with a manual of polar element it can not only slow down your cultivation but also cause serious problems to your foundation.
But there can be mutations in the veins as well which change the rank of the cultivator, it depends on the kind of elements the person has the elements present in the world are divided into three categories and this category defines how high the talent of the person has it goes from low to high
Primary grade: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Metal. this consist of the lowest and most cultivators their speed is normal.
Secondary grade: Lightning, Blood, Ice, Wood, Poison, Mist, Magma. are some of the second category elements their cultivation rate can be twice as that of Primary elements.
Tertiary grade: Space, Time, Life, Death, Light, Darkness, Yin, Yang, Chaos.this are the most powerful elements almost considered fantasy but there have been ancient records of cultivators with this element, their speed of absorption can be 5 to 6 times of that of the second category having even one vein of this element is equal to being a heavenly chosen.
