Chapter 28: Genius...
Max turned to them and said, "Thalia, use a memory than makes you calm and happy. Then point your index fingers towards each other and fell your power and create a spark and build it up to a steady current." Thalia nodded and closed her eyes to concentrate on her memory.
Turning to Percy, he continued, "Percy, make a ball of water around the size of a base ball, maintain it until I tell you to release it." Percy stretched his arm arm out and placed both his hands in the stance of a Kame-hame-ha, gathering water from the lake.
After confirming some progress from both of them, Max sat down with Nico and Bianca, and explained the aspects and powers of their divine parent, Hades. "So Necromancy huh?" Max said. " Before you curse your dad or swear off to never use your powers, I would like to say..." Max came closer to whisper, "...yours is probably the coolest among our powers." he grinned giving a wink.
[Although I think mine is the coolest, theirs comes in second place. A small lie, is always useful to encourage them and kids with a lot if unease tend to be reluctant to use their powers, even despise it.]
"What I want you to do is the same as Percy and Thalia. Either organize your thoughts or use your emotions or even just try to feel your powers. And don't tell me you don't have any, I know you do have some pow- WOW!"
Max stopped himself when he saw a coin sized diamond pop out of the ground. He went to pick it up Bianca quickly picked it up and stuffed it in her pocket and said, "I-It did not feel good. It felt as if you could have died by touching it."
Max gave a small nod, [ This is just like Hazel's powers. Whoever touches the gems become cursed with extreme bad luck.]
"Keep it safe until we dispose of it and try not to bring anything else up." Max told Bianca, who nodded in agreement. "Keep it up, I'll go check on the other two. Its okay Nico, you will also be able to do- DUUUDE!!! You two need to stop giving me scares!." Max yelled good naturedly.
Black smoke was pouring out of Nico, he instinctively lifted his hand and a black metal rod came out of the ground. It looked exactly like Max's Shepherd's Crook. When Nico gripped the staff/rod his own shadow started wrapping around him, forming a type of black armour.
Max quickly took out his own staff, [Deep Forest Emergence]. Instead of a huge forest, he made a circle of trees encircling them so no one would see what Max guessed would come.
Nico tapped the rod on the ground and out came skeletons with greek shields creating a shield wall around Nico protectively.
"Nico!!" Bianca screamed in distress. "Its okay. I'm fine he said coming out, I was the one who created them."
Max started laughing, "Hahaha...good one Nico" he said slapping his shoulder. Nico was blushing furiously which was not missed by neither Max nor Bianca. [ Another time...not now. Let him have his moment ] Max thought to himself.
"Nico can you revert them back? I don't want the other campers to get alarmed and possibly attack." Nico just gave a nod closed his eyes for a second, furrowing his eyebrows, tapped the rod and all the skeletons, their shield and the rod he was holding turned to dust and ashes and scattered in the wind.
"Tell me something Nico, do you need the rod to do your 'thing'?" Max asked with a raised eyebrow. Nico looked red in the face and replied, "No, but it calmed me down when I was holding it, felt kinda safe and warm. It just felt right."
[ I might have to talk to him about his feelings sooner than I thought I would. I can't let his emotions grow more than what it is now.] Max gave a deep sigh [ It ain't gonna be easy.].
"Well, you guys did it and made it look easier than I thought you would find it to be. Let's go check on those two before they blow us up. Water and lightning? not a safe combination."

Percy and Thalia succeeded in their task and even went further by making it more complicated. Thalia had all five fingers from one hand and their corresponding fingers on the other hand connect with a stream of sparkling and fizzling lightning.
Percy shaped three balls of water, without a drop spilling. He made the three balls of water in different sizes and made the smaller balls revolve around the biggest ball of water. One vertically and one horizontally.
They had practiced all day skipping lunch, Max found it amazing the could pick all this up in a matter of a month.
"Omai-tachi wa tensai ka??...Tottemo shitto shite iru!! Chikusho!!"
"What!?" all four off them asked, totally confused.
"Uhh... nothing nothing.." Max said scratching his head.

mugen95 Gonna take a few days off and write stuff up. Will try to mass release the chapters.
Writing another fanfic, will release it one chapter at a time after completing ten chapters, so I will have time for both.
