Chapter 19: Alecto...
It was the year 2003. Max hand gone on two quests, one he had gone with Thalia.They had to save few demigods from an angry mob of zombies and skeletons.
They had returned to camp on Max's bike, when the Oracle had come during the dinner just like on the the night Max was claimed.
"Children of the three, come together
Spawns of angel, in mortal danger
Imprisoned in luxury, by the flower eater
Ageless and intact, away they wither
Son of the Sea, neither sight nor smell
The mother released from her personal hell
Lost one's son, the five fates' holder
Is he their doom or is he their saviour"
Max sighed, "Aww...Come on! I just came back. I'm going to bed, tell Chiron, I'll meet him in the morning before leaving. I'm extremely tired." saying so he hobbled up the steps of Zeus cabin and slept his ass off.

"Spawn of angel? hmmm...I don't know who they are but I can fathom a guess where they will be. As for the son of the sea...Poseidon's son?" Chiron nodded confirming Max's 'theory'.
Chiron, Dionysus, Thalia and Max were sitting in Dionysus' office discussing the recent Prophecy.
Max thanked his knowledge, else deciphering riddle and Prophecies would have been a major pain in his butt. "You know were these spawn of angels will be?" Max nodded and said, "Lotus casino,Vegas I got information it became the new Land of the Lotus Eaters. The flower eater line is a dead give away. I do not have the location of the son of Poseidon, I'm gonna have to search for him.
"No need, Grover Underwood is with him. His smell is masked. He will be safe there." Chiron replied looking confident.
"Then what about the line 'children of the three'? Its obviously stating the big three, me being one. And I'm kinda peeved by the line 'mother released from personal hell'. Like that's not foreboding at all ." Thalia cut in, sarcasm dripping from her voice. She always got into a philosophical debate or any other stupid reason to fight with Chiron even for the simplest of things.
Ignoring Thalia, for once, Chiron said, "Its okay, Poseidon's son's situation is under control. Now coming to this spawn of ange-" "That's it! This discussion is not working out. I'm heading to Vegas with Thalia, see who this spawns of angel might be."

Max was in his room packing, thinking about the quest, [ Okay, so Percy is with gabe in Yancy Academy. I'll get them after Nico and Bianca from the Casino. They are the first priority, I don't want the Furies to get to them before I do. I can't let Bianca die, neither Sally Jackson. I have to be quick about it.]

"Gods, the air here stinks. So where is this Lotus Casino?" Thalia asked. "Probably in the Vegas Strip or somewhere near it." Max replied with uncertainty.
He knew the general location not the exact one as the book did nog tell the exact address. They had to wait for his bike to get to get unloaded from the private chartered plane piloted by a son of Hermes. They told him they would be back in a day or two so he should wait, to which he agreed.
They rode around and easily found the Lotus casino, It was not even covered in mist or anything. He parked his bike, both of them making their way inside.
Max sniffed the air and sighed, [ I see, Hades has already sent the Fury Alecto i guess...and a few hellhounds huh?. Is it a coincidence? or is there a traitor.....No! it can't be! Luke? But I thought he turned good because Thalia did not die.... FUCK!! How could I be so stupid? Its not that she died, but he loved her! Then he must have already stolen Zeus' and Hades' symbols of power. Damn it. I can't deal with this right now.]
By this time they were in a deserted part of the casino on tge sixth floor. Max turned his focus on a certain sexy Lawyer, her arms around two terrified black haired kids who looked like twins.
He motioned to Thalia, taking out two tomahawks from his belt, Leviathan hung from his back. Thalia drew her bow, and shot right to the head of Alecto. The Fury must have sensed danger and instinctively moved her head. It missed but clipped her ear, making her screech her lungs out. The Fury transformed into her hidious bat like form holding the children by the back of their necks.
Seeing the kids kick and struggle out of fear, screaming for help from Alecto's vice like grip, Max growled, "Fury, leave the kids if you know what's best you and your master, and called off your mutts too." Max added noticing the hellhounds inching forward.
"Ha! Hades is not our master anymore. His grip on the underworld is slipping. We have a new master promising us many souls and many more bodies to devour." Alecto screeched and took off to the next floor dragging the kids with her.
Max cursed and leapt toward her only to be blocked by the hounds. " Astrapí!" Thalia shot two lightning coated arrows killing a hound instantly and shocking the rest by its chained lightning jumping from one target to another.a
"Thalia! Can you take care of these dogs for me?" Max crouched down in a jumping position and asked. "Go!" hearing Thalia's instant reply he rocketed to the ceiling blasting through it to the next floor. He looked around only to see Alecto dragging them around the corner the stairs.
Max charged roaring, Alecto took notice, flinging the kids aside and screeched pouncing on Max. Max did not expect her to pounce on him, so he dived to the side and rolled away from the claws that took a swipe at him.
Max was inbetween Alecto and the kids, he could now fight a bit more freely. He unhooked his Leviathan axe at positioned himself, waiting for her attack.
See she was careful he made to let his guard down on purpose and took a step forward, she immediately started swiping her claws trying tear him to pieces. This went on for a minute until Alecto got impatient and tried to pierce his heart, Max leaned back, brought his foot up and Spartan kicked her right in the chest. She was thrown back crashing through the wall making a hole.
Alecto climbed out of the hole, her eyes red with fury(-_-), but Max not give her a break was right in front of her, bringing down his axe planting it deep into her shoulder, stopping near her heart. Max took his axe out to finish her off.
"AHHHH!!!! WHO ARE YOUUUU??!!!" Alecto screamed. Max in his most monotone voice said, "Son of Pan" and decapitated her. Her head flew still showing her shock from the last words she heard, slowly dissolving into gold dust.
"You done trying to look cool and shit?! Where are the kids?" Thalia asked coming up the stairs, already finished with her fight.
"What do you mean? they were right here!" Max shouted incredulously looking around.
