Chapter 4: This is war!
After registering to in the alliance Eizen together with all of the people done were divided into units for the war. Every unit has exactly 1,000 people in it. In every unit there is a 1,000 man commander and two lieutenants.
After looking around a few more times Eizen finally confirmed one thing.
"No one except for the commander and two lieutenants have pokemons in this unit."
Just as Eizen wanted to ask around the commander of their unit spoke.
"Attention all soldiers! As you all know we have now declared war with our neighboring country, the sky dragon country! Some of you may be newcomers while some of you should already be veterans in war but let's put aside our differences and fight for our Ho-oh kingdom!"
All of the soldiers shouted full of spirit but only our Mc Eizen was shocked when he heard the name of the country.
"Ho...Ho-Oh... kingdom!?" When he heard this Eizen couldn't help but clenched his fist!
He was excited!" Hehe looks like it really is still somewhat similar to anime! Alright!"

After a few more introductions and explaining the commander said that they will set off for the battlefield tomorrow and that they should familiarize themselves with their comrades. The commander also told them that after the war they will all be given various rewards but it is said that people who performs marvelously will be rewarded with a pokemon of his picking depending on his contribution in the war! He can also be promoted in rank!
After the commander left the soldiers were escorted to their barracks. Some soldiers followed the commanders tip and talked with their comrades while some soldiers practiced with their weapons.
Eizen also communicated with the other soldiers and asked information from them. At the end of the day Eizen learned that the reason that they don't have pokemon is that the pokemons in the wild with potentials are either too arrogant or too strong for them to subdue and if they aren't those pokemons are just too weak for them to take in the battlefield. Eizen learned that if you manage to survive in the war the alliance itself will give you a pokemon depending on your contributions in the war, although some soldiers in the unit already have a pokemon but these people are few in numbers and would still not use their pokemon unless in a dire situation because taming a pokemon in this world is just too hard especially if they are stronger and with a bigger potential.
When Eizen asked them about pokeballs their answer shocked Eizen.
"Pokeballs? What are those?"
They don't know what a pokeball is! After asking a few more soldiers Eizen concluded that pokeballs still haven't been invented in this world or... they are only given to people with strength and high status.

The next day
The soldiers started to march towards their goal which is Koku plains where the battle is being held. The only problem is...
"Oiii!! Eizen! Wait for us!!😁"
Earlier this day~
"Line up! Okay men we will set out after an hour but before that form a 5-man group. The other 2 person in your group will cover your back in this war so get to know them while we set out for Koku plain."
After saying those words a lot of people started to find the other members for their group. Most of the strong people had already made their own group and even most of the The veterans and experienced warriors made groups with their old comrades which leads Eizen with only one choice...
Because all of the warriors in the unit thought that because of Eizen's age being only 12 years old that he was weaker than most of them so... they didn't bother to gamble and tale Eizen in their squad leading Eizen to group with 4 people like him who were also ignored by most of the group...
Eizen walked towards the four people who were talking together. When Eizen was close they noticed him and waved for him to get closer.
"Well I guess I can't complain anymore." Eizen said while smiling and walking towards them.
Back to the present~
"Oiii!! Eizen! Wait for us!!😁"
The one who called for Eizen was Zane. He is 11 years old and is also the youngest in the group. The main weapon that he uses is a spear.
"Ahhh shit I'm getting nervous"
"Hey! Cheer up yuta! We'll go kick those Sky dragon soldiers ass!"
These two people are are Yuto and Yuta they are brothers in which Yuto is the oldest in this group aging 14 years old. Although he is the oldest in the group he doesn't look down at them at all.
He's younger brother Yuta is the same age as Eizen and is also 12 years old. The two brothers use a sword as their main weapon.
And lastly Angel. He's also 12 years old but he's the most mysterious anong the group and is wearing a ninja like outfit with two swords at his back.
"It looks like it's up to us to save our whole group huh angel?" Eizen said while slowing down to walk together with Angel.
"..."
Angel just looked at Eizen and then continued to walk.
"... well let's just hope our unit isn't going to be on the frontlines."
After a few hours of journeying towards Koku plains they finally arrived and what they saw amazed and shocked them at the same time.
Soldiers. Tens of thousands of them, some of them are already fighting with the enemy army and when they saw this...
Pressure. A heavy feeling was in the atmosphere and most of the warriors who haven't been in a war yet felt like they couldn't breathe. This is a war.
A lot of warriors are already afraid thinking on what would happen to them while some just stood there and looked at the army. Even some veterans couldn't help but clench their fist when they thought that there in this kind of war again and some of them may not even make it out alive. Alot of soldiers are akready on their knees some even puking. Only a few in Eizen's unit are calmly looking at the battlefield and that includes Eizen and shockingly also Angel.
"Whew... it's been a long time since I've been to this kind of atmosphere. Back on earth as a martial artist I've been through numerous wars and took the commanding officers head numerous times but this war is different.Because there are also numerous pokemons around the battlefield slaughtering both humans and fellow pokemons!" Eizen said to himself while looking above the battlefield. There he saw a man riding his pokemon while looking down at Koku plains.
