Your days at Brown's Bakery this week were filled with talking and posing for pictures. Compared to last week, a lot more people showed up just to see "The cat in the suit". While you felt good knowing others liked Blake, it was starting to frustrate you.
Having to say "No" so many times can get annoying. At least there were some people that actually came to buy food. Overall, the everything was much more boring than last week. You didn't even get to see the lady with the hat! She always buys the oddest of foods.

Ruby called a team meeting
Returning from work, you noticed your entire team sitting on the dorm floor.
"You're finally here! We can now officially start Team Rose Bush's first official meeting!" Ruby says happily
Meeting?
"Yes, I think it's a great way to get to know each other, after all, we'll be working together for the rest of our time here." Ruby says
She makes a valid argument, taking a seat, you ask what you're all going to do.
"Oh...ummm.....i kinda...didn't think about that" Ruby says rubbing the back of her head
"How about asking each other questions?" Suggests Blake?
"Yes! that's a perfect idea." replies Ruby
Alright, who should go first, you ask
"I nominate our illustrious leader" says Felicia
"Huh? Me? ...alright. So....why did everyone come to Beacon?" Ruby asks
"Because I wanted to be a hunter, and meeting new people is always nice." Felicia answers with a calm smile
"I want to....help people." Blake says reluctantly
"I want to be a great hunter and help everyone that I can!" Ruby says energetically.
As everyone turns to you, you tell them that a team of hunters recommended you should come here.
"That's....not surprising, while you're not that skilled in using your sword, you make it up with what I assume is your semblance." Felicia says
"Ok, so that was my question, who's next?" Ruby asks.
Didn't she just ask another question?
"Indeed she did, I'll take this turn." Says Felicia with a smile.
What will she ask, you wonder?
"What do you care for the most?" Felicia asks
"My sister." Says Ruby with a happy and confident smile
"A....friend." Says Blake, a hint of sadness and regret in her tone.
"The world, it truly is....something." Felicia says with a wide cat like smile.
You tell them that Blake and...someone else are what you care about the most.
"Oh? I didn't know you and your partner were that....involved" Felicia says with a giggle.
".....He means the cat." Blake says with deadpan look
A little "Meow" can be heard from under your bed. Blake sure is enjoying her nap.
"Spoilsport. Alright, I nominate you next." Felicia says, pointing at Blake.
With a small sigh, Blake asks, ".....What is your semblance?"
"I can go super fast!" Ruby says, waving her hand in the air.
"I can make clones of myself." Blake says
"I haven't awakened it yet." Felicia says as she presses her index finger to her lip, a small smile on her face.
As your turn arrives, you tell them that you don't know. Aside from telling them the basics of the physical boosts of your unknown
"Semblance" gave you, you decided to also share the fact that your semblance allowed you to slow everything down and also speed you up.
The first to speak is Blake.
".....what?" She says with a dumbfounded look on her face.
"I thought that was just you increasing your reaction speed, but this just makes your semblance so much more broken." Felicia says with her usual smile
Broken? How is it broken? What does that even mean?
In response, Felicia just laughs
"That's really cool, though, I still think I have the fastest semblance." States Ruby.
"Alright, that just leaves you Mordin." Ruby points out
What should you ask, you wonder?
you decided to ask what their favorite food is. With a quick and energetic response, Ruby tells everyone that her favorite food is strawberries. That.....is something you didn't expect at all.
With how she devoured cookies, you had thought those were her favorite. The next to speak is Felicia, she says that the food she likes the most is Lobster. You've never had that before, how would it taste, you wonder?
"Oh, it tastes.....amazing." Felicia says with a coy smile.
Damn it, she's just making you hungry!
"Fish" Blake says quietly.
oh, that's also Blake's favorite food.
She simply stares at you.
Moving on, you ask what they are most afraid of.
".....Failing those I'm supposed to protect." Says Ruby with a bit of a frown.
"Er....dogs." Blake says after hesitating for a second
"Eh....same thing most of the people in the world are scared of, Death" Replies Felicia with her usual smile.
How about everyone's best and worst skills?
"Oh oh, pick me! I'm the best at making weapons. Though, i'm not so good at...talking to people." says Ruby cheerily
"Sneaking and Socializing" Blake answers curtly
"I'm great at lots of things, but I'd say messing with people is my most amazing talent, I quite enjoy it. As for my worst skill, i'd say it's answering questions." Replies Felicia with a smile
Well, what other sorts of things is she good at?
"Wouldn't you like to know...eh?" Felicia says with a giggle
Yes, you would, but moving on. Does anyone have any animal friends?
"No" Blake Says
"Yes! His name is Zwei and he's the cutest dog you've ever seen and he's-" Ruby begins to say
"A dog! Please tell me you're never going to bring him here" Blake asks with a hint of fear and desperation in her voice
You notice her bow twitching for a bit. You didn't know bows could do that, that's quite impressive.
As Felicia holds in a laugh, Ruby replies-
"Waaaa...no, he's nice he would never do anything bad! But....ok, I wasn't planning on bringing him anyways." Ruby says dejectedly
How about Felicia, does she have a pet?
"Me? No, I don't. You offering?" She says with a small smile
Offering? Offering what?
"Hehehe, nothing~" She says with a childish tone
With that, you all continue talking about random things and eventually watch a movie together.
Felicia even shares one of her favorite songs with the team. Though, you're not sure why Blake seems annoyed or why Ruby say's she'll get her back. Overall, you think Team RSBC has gotten closer.
======
As the weekend arrived, you asked Ruby if she would mind continuing your work on the sword.
"Is this the face of someone that wants to work on the best thing ever?" She says with a big smile
Is it? You don't know.
"....yes... the answer is yes." Ruby says with a small awkward laugh.
With the mysteries of social interactions finished, you both head off to the dark place know only as the Beacon mechanical wing. Apparently, Ruby had researched into the type of crystal the frame was made out off.
After finding nothing in books, she turned to one Weiss Schnee. Though, she refused
to say what happened in their short meeting. Either way, she had not found anything about the type of crystal that made up most of the sword, so, she had decided that you two would spend the weekend experimenting
on the crystal.
You both took turn swinging the short emerald sword around, hoping something would happen. Ruby theorized that it was
some special type of crystallized dust that could be used to do...."stuff". As you continued your testing, you noticed that
Ruby was becoming more and more fatigued as she held the sword.
"Yeah...im....exhausted....gah....what....time...is it?" Ruby replied in between haggard breaths.
As she pulled out her scroll, you see her eyes widen.
"My aura....it's already in the red! How!?" Ruby says with a shocked expression.
Well, this didn't happen last time, what's different from then?
Thinking on it fra second, ruby looks at you and anounces.
"...The Sword!"
Yes, she has been wielding the sword for some time now. Perhaps the crystal absorbs aura?
What follows is a number of experiments to confirm whether the sword does indeed absorb aura. Just as Ruby had expected, the sword does absorb aura. It does it a tiny bit at a time, so most people wouldn't notice
that fact until they were dangerously low, the effect even penetrated gloves.
Thinking on it, you realized the reason why the sword doesn't affect you. Your soul is much bigger, more concentrated and it also recovers much faster than anyone else you've seen. Simply, you restored whatever the sword stole quicker than it could steal more.
Hmm.....you just thought of something, looking at Ruby, you tell her that you would feed the blade a small constant stream of your Soul and steadily increase it. Ruby compliments your great idea and picks up her notebook to document any and all reactions
you achieve. Grabbing the sword in your hand, you begin putting the smallest amount of your "aura" into it that you can.
At first, nothing happens. Thankfully, after a few minutes, you notice that the sword is slightly glowing. No other visible effects seem to be happening, it isn't sharper or lighter. Continuing the experiment, you feed it more of your aura. It seems that the more aura you feed the blade, the brighter the glow becomes.
Eventually, the blade becomes too bright to look at. From what you could gather, the blade seems to glow bright green with a faint violet outline. Thinking of something else, you decide to imitate a scene you saw in a movie. They had glowing swords as well, so you wanted to try it out.
Sadly, it seemed like the sword had other plans. Swinging the sword, you accidentally hit a wall. Unlike what you had expected, namely, the sword denting the wall, what happens instead is that the wall begins to meld with the sword. Now covering the tip of the green frame is a combination of
stone.
Sadly, it seemed like the sword didn't like the wall at all. You can tell this by the violent green and violet explosion that disperses the now stone tip of the sword. Thankfully, no one was harmed by the shrapnel. Looking back at the sword, you see that it has returned to its nonglowing crystal frame.
That was odd, maybe this is why the sword was covered in metal? With that, you and Ruby are promptly kicked out of the workshop and told not to come back until Wednesday. It was a productive day, you think.
=======
As your weekend comes to an end, you decide to take a nice stroll. As usual, the cool night air brings joy to your skin.
As you enjoy this lovely midnight stroll, you find something odd. Not odd like those adults you saw wrestling in a bush or even that one crazy squirrel that tried to eat you.
No, what you find is an old rusted coin. Picking it up, you wonder if someone lost it. You can feel a strange...something emanating from this coin. Perhaps
it's a cursed object? Either way, you pocket it and walk back home.
falling Sleeping, you begin to dream of...
======
Sitting at your table, you take a sip from your small cup. You really do love tea. Putting down your cup, you peer across the street. Looking at your target, you wonder why they are so special.
Thinking back on it, the other times you've met them had been quite...anti-climactic.
Then again, bumping into someone at the airship port isn't really that attention grabbing,
let alone being in the same store as them. Well, if they hadn't noticed you yet then that meant that you were doing your job just fine.
Taking a bite out of your nice and warm piece of bread, you marveled at the the taste.
That bakery you visited sure had some nice bread. Really, you were quite lucky to have found the store. Noticing that your target was leaving, you finish up your tea and bread. Dropping your money at the table, you quickly wave over an employee and point out your pay. With that finished, you head off
after your target.
It's a hot day today, you really wouldn't mind having a change of uniform. Damn your boss, really, who forces his female agents to wear suits while on duty? Thinking back on it, you've never seen anyone besides yourself in a suit when out on missions like these. Is he doing this specifically to punish you? So what if you accidentally hit him in the balls, he's a man and should suck it up!
Your thoughts are interrupted by your target tripping over themselves. You'd think they'd know how to properly walk by now. After all,
isn't precision one of the important things you need to be accepted into that school? Precise is the last thing you think off as you look at them.
Either way, you'll still have to make a log of all their activities and send it back to base. You might not be able to see what your target does at school, but it's quite easy to follow them in town. You'd think they were blind or deaf, after all, you're surprisingly very close behind them and you haven't been noticed yet.
Throughout the day, you see them talking to people and helping anyone that seems to be in distress. The target doesn't even try to
make sure if the ones asking for help really need it. Their personality makes it very easy to take advantage of them.
Still, you've seen their eyes. While others might have found nothing wrong, you knew better. You could tell that there was something in those eyes. Perhaps they'd seen something traumatic? Maybe they had special eyes? Either way, something about their eyes bothered you. None the less, you had a job to do and do it you would.
Boring, the whole day was absolutely boring. They just walked and walked, nothing even happened! Well, now that your target's returned to school, it's time to relax. Picking up your phone, you look for a specific person. While you have a lot of sisters, there are two you really like. Deciding on who to call,
you wait for them to pick up.
Sadly, it looked like they are both busy at the moment. Seems like you're going to be watching old movies or something for the rest of the night.
.....
Why couldn't you have a relaxing mission for once?
