Magic
The long night passed in a blink. As one lays in a dirty muddy path right beside the London's Oldest Pub. His mystical face is covered in dirt while sticky soils designs his skin into a disgusting sight to look at.
Elliot wake up completely unknown to what happened. His head was feeling all stars and bright, his dizzy.
He tried to move his muddy feet, and managed to move it in some centimeters.
He put his hands together gathering the strength needed to get up from his ridiculous state.
His eyes was dark yet also light. He was dirty, hungry, and burning under the morning sun.
He sniff himself in curiosity, only to puke in disgust. He dusted his body, but since it's sticky, it doesn't really done anything at all.
He needs to get going now. He looked at the place where he unconsciously slept the night.
He let the confuse thoughts go away for the time being, needing to shower immediately in his state. He walked down to the alley to be seen confusingly by the town people of Charing Cross Road.
Staring at him sympathetic, some disgusted.
He brush them off away and opened the door of the pub, Leaky Cauldron. And as usual, it's filled with morning people doing their business.
In the counter, Tom was drying the done dishes with his towel, completely wiping the wet parts dry. He halts for a moment as he hears the door being opened slowly. He took a look only to see a very dirty young boy, and his face was familiar.
'Oh, it's the boy last night,' Thought Tom, who is now confused of why is that boy dirty and wasted his payed room last night. Now he only has hours to stay.
"Did something happened?" Asked Tom to the approaching Elliot.
Elliot denied and silently stand there.
" Well first, go to the bathroom upstairs.. Your stinking dirty kiddo!" Exclaims the bantering Innkeeper.
Elliot nodded, away from socializing is a must.
He rushly got up going to the room he supposed to be sleeping in. He came in seeing the wandering Faux who stared at him and stayed still.
Elliot smiled a little, it must be hesitating if it should go to him, where he's dirty and all. Or should he not, and lose some cute moments.
Faux apparently displayed a richy appearance, ignoring him off then after seeing his pitiful state.
Elliot just got the towel in the racks and closed the door again ignoring first his pet. He never had a pet nor an animal interaction really. So he just have to learn his way through. And totally, this time is not the exact time for that.
After showering for longer than he should, the stinky smell was gone off and he clothed himself with his only available muggle clothes.
That made him remember that he can get the things he ordered from, Twillfit and Tattings, and some in Madam Malkin's Robe for All Occasions.
He left that off for later. At this time of the day, it is his core enhancing course. He closed off the window completely and sitted himself in the spot away from the noisy mess below.
But before that, he asked himself..
"How did Arch disappeared?"
His head was still not clear of what happened last night. As like a part of his memories was taken away, slowly as time passes.
He put off the proper position, breathing his technique first and starting off slowly basically.
After that process, he then focused on his core and slowly getting loads amount of mana in the air. This is the delightful thing about here, the dense atmosphere of magic.
He was feeling happy and all for a moment, until his circulation was faster than usual. Actually, abnormal. Was it because he's not used to this kind of atmosphere? Was it too dense?
He sweat dropped keeping it in the tempo, but it was getting hard as more mana comes in his body. It was like a wiggling sort of feeling that wants to come out immediately.
His body starts rumbling and shaking, as he tried his best keeping his core and mana altogether in one spot.
But that didn't happen as an explosion was heard in that certain room of his.
Specifically, his "accidental magic".
But it wasn't the "accidental magic" that it's the accidental encounters of young wizards with magic. But rather, another one of sort...
Unfortunately, he didn't considered the fact that accidental magic most happens if someone is feeling some extensive feelings. Here he was not, and thats a grave mistake he made now....
So, the current Elliot thought it was his "accidental magic" and he obviously is paralyzed there shocked.
The explosion sound was definitely heard, so he quickly run off outside like a rushing Cheetah, then shouting,
"UH, THE EXPLOSION IS FINE GUYS, NO WORRIES!" He explained, and the suddenly quiet crowd downstairs because of the explosion sighed heavily together and gone back to their moods.
They may go into his room and check what happened, which would be really bad. But then, to be honest, he can just explain really its an "accidental magic" as it's a natural occurance but that's not the thing.
He himself doesn't want to be seen by them.
He was shocked not because his accidental magic pops up randomly. Nor it was the explosion, nor also that he's scared of being asked about what happened, where he can clearly explain its accidental magic and no one will find it suspicious.
But rather, the floating energy in his hands.
It is in the form of faint blue and white, dancing in his hands, riding into a circle manner.
Wandless Magic.
He got into his room slowly. His urge wanting to scream, but can't. Thus, he only screamed in his mind feeling like a God given gift was bestowed upon him..
'WANDLESS, HELL YEAH! '
The accidental magic he had in his past life was simply his knife and fork floating suddenly and the plates having cracks in them.
Which would explain already that his future would be weak. His talents are.
But here he is, energies floating in his hand comfortably in control.
It's a big breakthrough. If he can harness this ability more, he doesn't even need wand nor anything.
This is the most perfect situation. Ministry of Magic exempts kids under 11, who is displaying magic whether in the outside world or Wizarding World, except if they detect that they have wands supporting it. Meaning, they let "accidental magic" just go.
But this time, Elliot's accidental magic just didn't come in one.
Now with wand less magic, which would be detected as accidental magic, would just make the Ministry not that suspicious even he do some charms nor spells just by hand.
He now was ecstatic while controlling the mana that floats in his hand stay still and so that it won't vanish randomly.
He now thinks, this kind of wand less magic is definitely peculiar.
It was the difference that it isn't a spell conjured here. It was just simple magic. Where he can control, make it big, make it small, make it powerful, make it weak, unlike spells, where it only has one uses or two. Lumos for example, it's only a spell where it can only displays light. Not for combat or defense. But with these kind of magic, you can sort it out into different kinds of purposes. Fire, water, earth forms, it can do that. Or make it a shield-like mana protection, or make it for offense or defense purpose.
This is what his master explained to him, calling it "Simple Magic". Not a spell for one purpose, but simple magic that can have many purposes.
He freely controlled the energy within his palms, making some silly shapes by just imagining it, he thinks of forming a circle in his head, and the energy will take form of a sphere. He even tried to imagine Arch's face, and poof, the energy exactly copied his face in just mere seconds.
After playing around with it, he now felt a new thing. His magic reservation, is now being let out for the first time.
Becaus he didn't use magic for the past year, he had just been accumulating this energies in his body without using it. It's just like being a CEO who is lazy and thus, his work is stock into a one big pile without being work on. But what happens when he starts working?
That satisfaction was in Elliot's now. Magic is just very interesting. Poor muggles, doesn't get to experience things like this..
Now then, after careful observation and conclusions he learned, he wants to test its powers now.
It is a small ball only. Best is giving a dent.
Bht he didn't felt down because of that small matter. Being able to control magic like this is already good.
So he got up closer to the wooden cabinet which is relatively thick. So if that ball does pretty good damage, the furniture won't still be that damaged.
He let his energy in his palms sway for a bit, until making his palms face forward the cabinet, where now the magic faces the wooden furniture.
And in the count, he launches his ball of magic, and the results it made is not what he expected.
He groaned down in the ground, facing the floor feeling down. He's disappointed.
The room is now with the boy facing down the floor, while he face a destroyed cabinet in front of him.
He underestimated magic..
