Chapter 20: Handsome hyungs, you know?
"He was there for me the whole time. Since daddy got Jungsoo, Jimin hyung took me in and played with me. He played with my hands and my hair and he whispered funny things in my ear. His voice was cute and comforting too,"
Good with kids? Love kids? Likes to play with kids? Funny? Cute? Comforting? She was just so sure that Jungsik was talking about the same Jimin. But she was confused why would they be there. Well, she was going to ask Mark about that on the other day. For now, she focused on the kids' opinions.
"And Noona, don't tell daddy about this...but...Jimin hyung is more handsome than daddy. I still love daddy though, because he's my daddy," he explained, trying not to hurt his dad's feelings.
She layed down on Jungsik's bed while he spread out on her tummy. Jungsoo was on her side, playing with her hair.
Jungsik was talking about more on his activity. On the other hand, Jungsoo was more quiet. He was just listening to the happy things his brother experienced that he didn't. For the whole time, he stayed with his dad, scared that he was going to be alone. He didn't want to leave his dad alone, right after what their grandma did.
She didn't want to let Jungsoo felt left out. So, she asked about him, "how about you Jungsoo? How was your day?"
He lit up and began on sharing, "well, I met handsome hyungs, you know? I was with daddy for the whole time but daddy has close friends and his name was V," he proudly said, remembering the handsome hyung named V.
Now that made her put the pieces together. She knew one guy named V and it was Taehyung, aka V. Why were they there, exactly?
"Daddy made me sat on V's lap because he went to greet grandma and talked to her. V hyung had long fingers and his eyes and smile were nice. He can form a box whenever he smiles. Isn't that pretty, Noona?"
She snapped herself and said, "yeah"
Truthfully, she was focused on the details Jungsoo was feeding her. Boxy smile? Long fingers? Cute eyes? That's surely Taehyung.
"Noona, have you seen a mummy?" Jungsoo suudenky asked her, out of the blue.
"V hyung told me that mummies are ugly looking and scary~" Jungsoo whimpered.
"Aigoo, don't be scared, I'm here," Jungsik cooed. He hugged his brother before he returned to running her stomach over.
"Noona? Why weren't you there with us? You could've met the handsome hyungs or accompany daddy. Daddy was really lonely," Jungsoo's voice was deeply sad and he kept on pouting.
"I'm really sorry, my babies but Noona visited grandpa and I did lots of errands. About that, we'll visit grandpa next Sunday, got it?" the kids nodded and understood her. Even if they wanted her to be with them that time, it happened already. Nothing would change.
" can you tell me more about grandma's wedding? " she asked, hoping to get more details.
Jungsik nodded." Grandma used your gift, the bouquet,"
The bouquet she made was a cascade bouquet and she used her mom's favorite flowers, white peony roses and red stray roses. She added purple orchids and greenery.
"she appreciated it. Your bouquet is much better than hers Noona,"
"new grandpa is polite too. It's just that they didn't really talked to us and that made me sad,"
"me too" Jungsoo whispered.
"I miss my father. Do you miss grandpa?" sge asked them as she positioned herself to sleep. She figured out, she would most likely fell asleep.
"I missed him calling us everyday and singing us songs,"
All of them sighed and just snuggled with each other. The boys reminded her of her father and she was not ready to cry again. She sighed and told them to sleep.
Jungsoo looked up and her and softly asked her," Noona? Will you sing us a song?"
She didn't say anything but started singing softly.
"I know, i know

When she stopped singing and noticed that the kids were sleeping soundly, she gently stood up, making sure that she didn't wake Jungsik. She slowly and quietly lifted Jungsoo. When he was about to complain, she gently rubbed his back and started rocking him to sleep. When he finally went back to sleep, she carefully placed him to his bed.
She looked at them sleeping before she turned off the lights and walked away, still careful not to make any noise.
When she arrived at her room, she thought about her mom before she could even think further more about it, sleepiness took over her. She wasn't just ready to face the other reality.
Her mom's really married and seemed to move on and that, still, pained her. She couldn't feel happy for her mom, not even a little bit. And when she tried, she ended up feel like hurting her dad's feelings. That's what she was so confused about. If only, he didn't die, things wouldn't be like this but things happened for a reason.
Whatever the reason was, she didn't get it.

Jeliane143 All right, I made it possible! Anyways, this isn't much because I still have a lot of make up chapters to do. Well, let's not think ahead and enjoy the present, shall we?
Besides, I'm trying to get over my crush and I've been trying to write chapters in my Wattpad's 2nd acc. There was this story that I wrote there but I didn't published since "Painful Yes" was still on going. I hope you support that one too.
