Chapter 11: Snowstar of IceClan
"Snowstar! They're here!" Ravenstar yowled. He bounded down the small slope of the mountain towards the small group of cats. There was a brown tabby she-cat, an orange tabby tom, and a cream she-cat with a small gray kit clinging to her back.
"Hi! I'm Ravenstar of GhostClan. This is Snowstar of IceClan and Shadestar of SmokeClan. Where's Dawnstar?" Ravenstar asked.
"She's on the way here from the MythClan territory," Shadestar responded.
"I'm here!" The she-cat in question came running down the slope.
"Uh hello," the cream she-cat responded timidly.
"I'm Sparrowstar of LightClan and this Blazestar of FireClan and Bushstar of SeaClan. That's Ripplekit of SeaClan," the brown she-catーSparrowstarーreplies for the group. Blazestar nods towards us.
"Welcome to the Mountain Clans," Snowstar says in her fancy/regal way. "You should stay with us until sunrise and then we shall travel to your land. We have some things to discuss along the way."

"So," Bushstar started. "We were wondering if you wanted to stay with your own clans in the forest or if some of you wanted to join our clans." Snowstar nodded, aware of the dilemma.
"I am staying with my clan, IceClan, and I'm going to raise it back up to its original, powerful state," Snowstar replied to the timid she-cat.
"I'm keeping SmokeClan," Shadestar said plainly. He wasn't much for emotion. Blazestar nodded.
"I might, uh, join someone else," Dawnstar started. "It depends what it's like in the Forest Clans."
"I'll join someone else," Ravenstar stated easily. "Running a clan seems hard and I don't want to be responsible for others' lives."
"What about you?" Dawnstar asked the cats from the forest. "Are you keeping your original clans?"
"Ripplekit was supposed to be the leader of MossClan," Blazestar started, using his tail to motion to the kit nuzzled in Bushstar's side, sleeping. "But he joined SeaClan with Bushstar so that he had someone to care for him. But otherwise, yes. We plan on keeping our clans." Blazestar looked at the other two forest leaders on either side of him and they both nodded.
"I'm really sorry to ask," Bushstar said. "But do you have any fresh-kill up here? I know the voice said you were out but I figured you had to have had some left. Ripplekit hasn't had anything since we left the forest."
"Oh of course! We have a couple of mice left and a hawk. We were planning on taking them for the travel to the forest but I guess it's not that far away," Dawnstar replied. She ran off into a separate cave that had little holes in the walls for prey. Snowstar had never really gone in there much, besides hunting when she was an apprentice in IceClan's territory. The four cats had been living there since the Fading.
Dawnstar came back from the cave with two mice dangling between her jaws, held on by the tails. She dropped them in front of the forest leaders and ran back in to get the other two mice.
