Chapter 10: He, Who Pretend

*

A pair of shiny black shoes, a black tie and white plain shirt strewn across the floor all the way to a huge mattress where a man lies on his back with nothing on top.

His firm and big torso entirely exposed with his tattoo snake located below his abdomen all the way down from who knows how long, and his ever-flawless lips allowed the slightest sound of his breathing to escape—It's heavenly.

The phone stayed ringing for several minutes, but the gentleman paid it no attention. He remained in bed resting after a long day at work, probably dealing with a few papers and probably undertaking an obligation that he wasn't supposed to be undertaking.

The moment the ringing ended, quickly it followed by another call. He groaned "Damn it" as he sat up and raked his hands through his hair, messing it up.

He dragged his body to a little table while standing on his two long legs, then he grabbed his phone to see who had been pestering him during his one and only time alone.

"Hey Haiden," another man muttered on the other end of the phone, his voice quite loud, as if he was somewhere busy. "My bad I forgot that you're supposed to be Sebastian now," His voice flows over the phone, mocking the gentleman on his leisure time, sounding very excited "What is it Harris, I'm tired" Haiden said to his brother, and a touch of exhaustion is clear—his voice is deeper and worn out.

He pulls his enormous naked body back to the bed where he seated himself as his brother tells him something he have to frantically know about after all, Harris calls for him incessantly, "I just spotted your prey here at the restaurant," Haiden's brow furrowed, hearing his brother "...Who she with? Silva?"

When he left the Villa earlier, the young miss seemed to have kept her bed warm and cozy after an exhausting day, in addition to getting some sleep in the bath. Perhaps she was patiently waiting for the right moment to flee home after Haiden alias Sebastian had left.

After Matthew's return, the days of her freely entering and exiting the Villa without permission were long gone. He had kept Haiden at the young missus's side, making him her bodyguard despite the fact that he was meant to be an intern.

"Yeah. Do you want me to keep track of your prey? I could help you with that. I mean, she's my fiancée," Harris reminded him, although he could be careless about his fiancée given that he had his sights set on someone else. After Hudson and Matthew drank their asses, they swore that their offspring would marry each other.

"That damn promises just have to ruin everything" Haiden thought.

"Don't bother, Elenor doesn't even know she's engaged to you, and it's late, so she won't go far" he didn't want his brother getting involved with Elenor any more than their father had already forced him to "Instead, stick to your prey Harris. It's been three months and all you've been up to has been keeping a close watch on Silva. When are you planning to make your move?" he added.

Harris chuckles as hard as he can, causing Haiden to pull his phone from his ear "Next weekend, I'll make sure that I get some alone time with Miss Silva" Harris assures him.

"That's too long. Make it tomorrow" he demanded, he stood on both his feet as he made his way to the bathroom, "Hey, hey now my little brother did you not know that patience is a virtue? Next weekend sounds good to me and so does to you" Harris reasoned out on the other end and despite not being able to see him Haiden can imagine him shrugging his shoulders on him upon saying those words.

"What do you mean?" he sought out. "Silva owns a club, and next weekend is the grand opening. Wherever Silva is, there's Eaves. Wherever Eaves is, there's Silva. Don't you think we can have a little fun while hunting them?" Harris said.

Haiden placed his phone on the sink then rapidly lowered his trousers to his thighs, revealing his manliness and aiming for the toilet. "That's not good. I'm keeping an image for this damn good guy shit" he says as he peers in the mirror from the side, every aspect of his manhood reflected before adding, "Yeah. That fucking damn good guy act"

"You have it bad, huh? ha ha ha," his brother laughs. "Don't fret, Silva just gave us the chance to enjoy ourselves, especially you. She demands that all her guests don a ridiculous mask on the grand opening," his remarks made Haiden gaze down at his phone.

He grinned, pulling his trousers up to hide his crotch before walking to the sink to wash his hands. "Is that so? Then I'd gladly accept" with both hands on the sink's rim "I've also invited the others" Harris informed him.

"What? don't do that, those girls are so annoying" Haiden walk out of the bathroom and grab some clothes to put on, "Too late, they're actually here with me at the restaurant right now."

"weren't you there to spy on Silva? Does that mean Silva's presence is purely coincidental?"

"Come on, your big brother needs a break. I've got my plate full of the company affairs because you won't even bother to offer help with handling those darn crappy works. I don't want to waste your time now, nighty night little brother."

His older brother had his brain and fingers wrapped for works, knowing his status as the Zking's heir. Despite the fact that Hudson could and should split his fame and fortune with both of his boys, he determines not to and instead gives all to the eldest.
