Back then, Daisy did not seem to hate Maxim as much as now. And Maxim also never looked at Daisy as if she was his sworn enemy, unlike now.

The atmosphere seemed so tense. 

Even Ivy, whose blabbermouth antics could usually dissolve any sort of awkward atmosphere, was quietly observing at the moment. And Angel who was sitting on Ivy's lap did not seem to have any intention of dispersing the tension in the air by showing her usual cuteness. 

Unable to take it any longer, Diana spoke up, ''Why are you here?" 

Maxim shifted his gaze from Daisy and moved his wrist, placing it in front of Diana's eyes. 

Diana glanced at his watch before meeting his gaze in confusion. 

''To pick you up.'' 

Diana blinked. It slipped off her mind that he usually picked her up and dropped her after work.
