Japan, what many would consider the greatest city in the world, is where the brilliant and quirky Hiro lived. His was kind and somewhat foolish. He was too Naïve for his own good. But, not many could blame him as he was born and kept away in the wall he and his family called a home. Away the rest of the world they would stay. Hiro has never seen the outside world in his whole life and his parents wanted to keep it that way. But then, one special day, he found a way out. It was at the time when his parents were asleep. He had stolen the key from their room, as most children do at that time. But instead of making the worst decision of his life he... actually no he made the worst decision of his life. After finding out how the hell a key works, Hiro slid the door open slowly. It was the moment of truth, the time that he'll finally see the outside.
The door finally opened, and what would greet him was... a normal sidewalk, street, and a couple of parked cars. It was nothing special, but to Hiro it was REVOLUTIONARY. A real car! Real strangers walking by! A different kind of ground! He was so excited that he couldn't help but explore this wondrous world.
Hiro moved along the sidewalk, giving everybody who passed him an enthusiastic and ecstatic "Hello!" Then he encountered his mortal enemy. His arch nemisis. He rival that would be nearly impossible to defeat! A dreaded crosswalk. He moved along carefully, slowly, forgetting that not many people would be around at night in the first place. But at the same moment, as the moonlight shined upon him in the middle of the street, a car, a truck, came dashing at the young man. He couldn't move because of shock, the driver wasn't paying attention, and the truck was going incredibly fast. In that moment, Hiro's life flashed before his eyes. He closed his eyes, accepting his fate... then... nothing? Hiro opened his eyes to see that everything had stopped. He was confused, he thought that death would've hit him hard, but alive he was. He couldn't move, not because of shock, just because of he couldn't for a random reason. All he could think of at the moment was the times he read books and played dungeons and dragons with his sister. He couldn't stop thinking of the books he made based off of other fantasy books. But it seemed that it was futile. The only thing that moved then, was a tear that rolled down Hiro's face. Then, suddenly, time resumed. All that should be said is that Hiro didn't fell pain, he just faded. Hiro's last hope was that his next life could be filled with explorations and the wonders of life. And somehow, through the way of some unknown god, Hiro's eyes had opened to a pure white scene with a man in the middle.
