Chapter 33: Chapter 32: The Guardians
The moons rises into the sky, some are sleeping and some were doing their night shift on guarding the District. Men with all kinds of weapons stroll the steets of the District which is now a property of The Rising Sun Group.
Suddenly while Paul has his eyes closed a loud knock from the metal door starled him. The door unlocks as four people lit the dark room with their lanterns, Paul which almost got asleep while standing is now awaken fully. Although his eyes were is still not used to the brightness of their lamps.
"It's time." The seemed leader of the other three said as he gets and picks the suitable keys in order to unlock the shackles.
Paul was still annoyed on the fact he was suddenly awoken as he very much tried so many times to fall asleep but when he did so, someone bangs at the metal door instead. Paul which has this blankly face finally got his shackles removed, he instantly stretches it in order to remove the numbness of his arms.
Then spears were pointed at Paul. He didn't move a but for he does know the order was not to kill him, and also he didn't care at all. The mens were sceptical if their prisoner will do something, before they were ordered to take Paul, they were warned that the man was dangerous and actually strong. "It's alright, can we go shall we?" Paul stated as the situation became neutral the sceptical feeling of the men seizes.
Two men holds the arms of Paul as they walked...
"Ain't we to early?" Chun hei asked. Sung Joo, Jin Hao and Chun Hei is already on the long dinning table that has already placed with the most finest fine whares. They were handcuffed with cuffs that makes them weak and mke the cuffs impossible to break so they couldn't escape.
"Sheesh it's already been twenty minutes" Jim Hao said as he too is bored at just looking the grand chandelier in the top.
Suddenly the long doubled doors opened and the first one who greeted the group was The Lord itself followed by his six Guardians they choosed their seats, as the Lord seated at the Top of the table the Guardians choosed to seat on on side instead and they were much closer to The Lord, while Chun Hei, Sung Jo and Jin Hao were seated side by side they are seperated from The Lord and his Guardians.
"I'm sorry if you were bored. My guardian here brought you here to early and I apologize for that." The Lord said as their brows rissen in confusion that The Lord itself apologized, the Guardians didn't showed any objection from the Lord's way. Their facial expression tell they didn't acknowledge the desicion of the Lord to apologize.
Waiting for someone to reply back, they nudged each other saying thet didn't want to take the task on saying a word. "I-It's fine Sir, It's fine...." Sung Joo accepted the role and si the nervousness of them was reliefed
"We are still waiting on somebody here so let's just talk for a while let me introduce to you my Guardians first." As he sips the tea on the mug that was already placed on the table before they arrived.
Lin Pei, He's Guardian Sixth he's not the weakess but he's one of the oldest here in fact he's older than me. As you can see he has an eyepatch he for he doesn't want to show that he does not have an eye on it. He typically is addicted to ciggars and also has anger issues." As the man looked at the Lord, he felt he was being to much disrespectful but just holded his is and instead glared at the opposing group. They didn't look at tge guy as they just focused on the Lord while he was explaning and talking.
"You're the in the buttom because you dissobey the lord, how could you..."
"Hey, Do not talk without permission of the Lord!" The lady with ginger hair and has these marking on her cheeks that making him look more fierce. She slammed her hand on the table, making the finewhare move a little bit.
The Lord just controlled and ignored the fuss that happend, he though was mad in the inside but didn't bother to scold them. He sighed, "This guy is Guardian fifth his name is, Janko "The Sycthe" Jhin." The bald man grinned as he was called by his self proclaimed nickname. "He's all bandaged up as he was horribly beaten." The grinn of Janko stopped as he felt the anger he was actually defeated, the others just holded their laughes while looking to the bandaged face of Janko.
"Emildia Attionete, The lady was originally from The Capital but was abandoned and was raised here at the lands of Xu." The lady which The Lord was talking about was none other than the lady who scolded Janko. She didn't looked and just has her eyes closed "Her body figure was quite fit for a woman and her skin was pure white. She's to beatiful to be abandoned like that. Said By Sung Joo. Emildia didn't appriciate that she was just introduce to the group she informed that they will have a dinner with the Lord.
Chun Hei, Sung Jo and Jin Hao just stayed quiet as they didn't knew what to do and just listen tightly in the words of The Lord.
"The other one my third best is not here right now. He is still in bed resting frim his injuries." The Lord said as he sips on his tea just to clear his throat.
"It must be That man called Frederic." Jin Hao said into his mind as he remembered the word of Emildia when they were in their dark cell.
"Butch." Suddenly the muscular dude that has a deep announced his name loud enough to be clearly heard. The Lord ignored the way he acted on his own. "He's second so please don't mess with him he is on top of his Raw Martial Arts." He said as he was looking into the eyes of the dude. He never did make eye cotact he was just crosed arms and felt that the dinner didn't make any sense as he would rather eat alone.
"Alast the strongest I supposed. Claire, she my only mage here around." The eyes of Sung Jo and Jin Hao was preplexed on how small the woman is. Although she was wearing a fine gown she never shown any emotions and just nodded after her name was introduced.
"Look's like she's the one who knows fine etiquette." As Chun Hei eyes rolled and she leaned back to her chair.
Suddenly a knock could be heard on the door. "Come." The Lord replied back as the long two doubled doors opened. On shock it was Paul who was handcuffed on his back and also as a colar on his neck.
He was escorted by the two guards as the Eyes of the Guardians stared on Paul as he was walking.
"Ram? He's invited?" Chun He then whisppered yo Sung Joo which was just on her side. "Ofcourse he is he's Ram." Sung Jo replied back while Jin Hao wasn't supprised at all but just intriged on why the Guardians glared back at him.
Paul was seated just across them. And was reletably much more closer to the Guardians as three seats apart from where Claire is seated. "I can't eat if my cuffs are on my back." Paul said into the Lord. The man which was one if the men whi brought Paul just looked at the Lord and the Lord just nodded and he unlocked the cuffs. "Why not release all of them, they can't escape anyway. Claire already putt a barrier around here that is not authorize." And so the man walked around to un-handcuffed the remaining group.
As maids from the Rising Group entered into the opposing door. They brought countless of food that was comprising of Turkey,Salad,Soup and Pasta. As they brought the food on to the tables a Man carrying fdrinks came, and served wine. As last maids and butlers left the room all that was left was the cooked food and the caddles for light source.
"Let's get into the point." Paul suddenly said as he digged in with his spoon and fork picking a piece of chicken. "What do you want Lord."
