Chapter 31: AfterMath Part: 2
The whole district was originally packed with it's people. Many walked the streets seatling their bussiness,Shops and more establishments. But it turns out that the great Gan Dal which is the Principal of the Heavenly sect was actually also the one who leads the District.
The Lord is now settled in the town hall siting the top of the long table, a meeting is yet again undergoing.
"The numbers of the people were close to half, they have already fled into neighboring districts." The Eye patched man said which his arms were just crossed.
The Lord slammed the palm of his hands on the table in sheer rage. "Godamn it! Now we can't increase our army more and more, if they will just flee like that will be in a decline." He frowned also.
"The only thing we could do now is see who are the strongest among the one's that surrendered to us." The lady that was seemed to be a mage said.
"That one guy, Who was him? He beaten Guardian Five heavly?!" Another Lady said, This one has a red haired and is little muscular than your normal lady.
"We want that guy for sure, He already said he'll be serving me but I doubt it will be till death. I believe that man will betray us in some point, we will kill him after I ordered my first mission on him, we don't want that guy to be more stronger than now." As The Lord looked unto the eyes of his guardians, their glare was noticeable as they they know a possible threat could potentially be born. The Lord didn't expexted one of his guardians are actually defeatable in the Emprie of Xu. He expected a man from the squadron of the Capital could beat his Gusrdians, but not a young kid that his were abouts are unknown.
"There is actually a prison here huh...." Paul was imprisioned underground were typically the most dangerous people would be imprisoned. Both of his hands were shackled into the wall and was standing up. They were no lights just pure darkness and the sounds of the unknown insects crawling on the floor are only ome that could be heared.
Then suddenly the door that has a opening on it's top that could be closed and opened for peeking just opened and a beam of light shined into the eyes of Paul. Because of this Paul eyes started to hurt as it adapted from the darkness.
"That's him?" A voice could be heared while a blue eyes could be seen peaking through the door. "He looks young for someone to be able to beat a Guardian." He said yet again as the sounds if the door unlocking could be heard. The metal door opened as it created a crinching sound as it was opened rather slow.
Theman could be seen standing infront of the door, as for theprison guard opened the door for him and immidiately didn't blocked the way and just make way for the man. The man enetered the dark room, the only light source was a lantern he was holding. He aprouched Paul and then his brows risen up for his curiousity, he putted the lantern infront of the face of Paul.
"That hot you know." Paul said as he was looking away because it was hot. He looked annoyed that something was infront of his face and still his eyes were still adapting on the sudden light. "Young, Young! How did you do it?" The man said as he putted the lantern into the ground and stared back on Paul.
He didn't answered and just glared back on the look of the man. "No talking huh. You seemed the type of man that doesn't talk. Let's get to the point. I'm Guardian Two and if you don't know we Guardians are ranked from Sixth into first I'm the second strongest." The man said, actually he was just saying this just to get a word from the capture man.
Paul just blankly stared back at him and look to see the endeavored spirit, the looks of Paul is just frown as he see how unheveled the man is interms of his clothing.
There was a three second silentness as the man was expecting something but nothing came."Ok, well The Lord said that he will invite you to his dinner tonight..." He said as now he was smiling.
"Cringe...." Paul said into himself. He coughed to clear his throat and also remove that vibe around. "Fine..." He just quickly said.
The man was yet again in disbelief that he just said a single word and the conversation has ended. The mans lips curled up. "Ok then... Guards will go and get you here by stroke of night." The man quickly turned it's back and walked in a unsual speed as he quickly walked into the exit.
"What an akward person. Yikes...." Paul said as he wanted to quicky forget the encounter. The door quickly closed and yet again darkness filled the room.
Most of the people were executed on public view if they have not pledge their loyalty into the Rising Sun Group, they were either burned alive or tortured first. The people who surrendered will only get a week prison sentence and will be free to graze the lands but as a warrior in the army of the Group. People with has supposed to have a talent in fighting have more privillage and will only get 3 days in prison sentence sometimes none.
The Masters that fought the guardians were still sleeping in their prison cells, while the people who have defended their selves against the Vice-Guardians will serve ther sentences outside in a dog caged like cell. Their sentences will be only for one day for their cells are literally in front of the sun.
"How's the day?" Jin Hao said. They shared the same cells together with Sung Jo and Chun Hei and was shackled the same way as Paul is. Their daylight sentences is over and they were just spending the night on the inside prision underground.
"I got badly beaten up but I recovered for some reason and woke up into this cage that eas open to see for people." Sung Joo replied
"Same..." Chun Hei added as her story was just all the same. Their rooms were just dark and they kept their sanity by tslking to each other. Then the doors could be heard to be unlocking and the door's opened up and infront of them is a lady.
"Alright people the Lord invites you in a dinner tonight might as well go alright?" She stated as the group was just preplexed and have their brows risen in confusion.
"Confuse? I need a yes or no only, yes you'll live and no you'll probably die a horroble death." As she glared into the group which closely to each other.
"We-we'll accpet then..." Sung Jo stated as she was stuterring in sheer shock that the most powerful invite them in a dinner.
"Don't have a much choice does it? I'm Gusrdian Four, fourth of thr strongest Gusrdian. Above me is Frederic the man that defeated that Old man Go Gu, well people will get you here so just wait the sun is just abou to go down." She turned her backs and walked into the door without saying more words.
"Just like that? You talked to them liek that?!" Suddenly a voice could be heard outside as the door closes and be locked once more.
"Why did even The Lord sent you you're such a bad at talking to people and y...." The lady's voice faded away. As the door closes.
"A dinner tonight why would he?" Chun Hei asked as she was still suprised on the matter.
"Ram was right. If we indeed performed well, we'll be even invited it seems the risk now payed of. Hopefully...." The voice of Jin Hao said
"We'll wait and see in the table tonight. In the mean time let's just gather our strengths for now." Sung Joo said as yet again silence filled the room.
