Chapter 1: prologue
Character : Haider a 17 year old collage student,height 5:7, long black hair ,brown eyes and a sharp jawline , hobby reading novels, in a relationship with a girl in his collage ,shut in keeps parrots as pets :
lives in a small town , there were military settlements consist of weapon factories nearby the town due to which the town was considered rather large

Due to decreasing cases of corona( a disease spread around the whole world as a global pandemic) in the past few days the government has announced to open all educational sectors that were closed it was a rather great news for people to go out again without worries but a person alone in his home was worrying about something while looking at the mirror in his room .
" Shit ! collage is gonna start again i should sleep now " Haider said while looking at the clock it was already 3 am in the morning he was reading some novels as he lost track of time
" I don't feel like it's the end of that disease "
Haider said. while frowning as he had some strange events going on with his pet parrots which he did not like his parrots were being too much aggressive and were showing signs of growing past their normal size .

"beep beep beep beep"
His mobile rang as it was time to get ready for collage he had some unpleasant mood due to his whole family gone on a vacation and him having as a house guard. He did his usual routine and got ready and went out of his house after checking his parrots one last time. As he was waiting for his friend outside his home , enjoying the rather cloudy morning
" Hmm, doesn't feel like a normal day to me "
He said as he watched 5 dogs on the other side of the two way road fighting with each other it was normal occurrence but what was different is that they were running with speed faster than normal unnourished street dogs and their bodies were rather large compared to a dog's ,He observed this due to having nothing else to do while waiting for his friend He then opened his mobile to read the news which was something he never did in his p
" That's something u don't see every day " Said Haider as he scrolled down the new feed he saw some strange pictures of cases of canablism related to patients with corona virus and domestic animals being killed due to violently attacking their owners these cases were popping one after another . As he was doing that his friend arrived
" Hop in Haider we gotta hurry! "
His friend " Mark " shouted from the driver seat inside the car
Mark was his childhood friend and they went to the same school and were in the same class .He had the same height as Haider ,curly hair and almost bald ,having a dark skin tone , and a little over weight.
"OKAY OKAY COMING ; Wait i need to get something i forgot " Haider said in a hurry while pacing towards the front door of his house .
"Hurry up man " mark said as he watched haider running back ,
" NO WAY THIS IS HAPENING !" Haider exclaimed as he was filling his bag with knifes and a set of binocular and some cash he had saved for other reasons, while he thought of only one scenario that could explain the whole news of people arriving from dead cases of corona ;
"ZOMBIES "
he murmured under his exited breath
He read many novels of this type and thought of scenarios in which he would make plans to escape such event. Due to which he was prepared mentally.
Then he ran towards the car parked outside in which mark was waiting it was a small car which Haider thought would not be useful incase of road blocks but he went on with it as he opened the door and sat in it
" Lets go my man "
he said to mark as they both drove away on the road towards collage they didn't talked on the way which was not common due to which mark thoyght that something was going on in Haiders head like a fight with his girlfriend or something like that .
It was a 10 min drive but it became longer due to haider asking mark to stop at shops to buy daily needed items which mark didn't mind or perhaps understand the weird way his friend was behaving today .
After reaching collage they got out of the car and Haider said
" Hey Mark why not give the keys to me today "
Mark didn't retaliate of his friends unusual request as they were getting late and threw the keys to him as they both walked to the gate of the collage
It was a collage either not large or small having two flours and a basement and two grounds the first floor was only in use due to the collage haing very little students attending around 150 student whole which was a really small strength as compare to its size .
" Okay okay hand over the fine ur late boys " the guard said as he felt frustrated due to haider and mark being late as usual but not giving fine normally
"HERE U Go sir !" haider said as he handed over the fine which was 50 rs
as they entered haider dragged mark along the hallway to the second floor which was usually empty as a whole due to having little amount of students in the collage
Mark was surprised by his friends action but stayed calm
" Okay what I'm about to tell is quit serious so listen I think it's gonna be zombies all over the place about till noon "said Haider in a serious tone while stuffing a butchers axe in marks bag
"Stop joking weirdo! Did she hit u too much last night? " mark laughed it off while glimpsing onto haiders bad as he saw some things such as a binocular , large knifes and some mineral water bottles which were unusual for Haider to carry to collage or any one to carry to a collage.
" I ain't joking Ok ! come and look man " he grabbed marked as he heard some screaming noises and went to the in front of the walkway and stood beside the railing of the second floor , where they could easily see the road as their collage was loacted on the main road,
They stood there and saw cars driving violently and people running like crazy
" What in the earth is this " as Mark saw the chaotic scene
haider took out his binocular and saw the scene of a man eating the neck of a woman on the road while a pool of blood was being formed underneath them as he confirmed his guess he gave the binocular to mark to see
"Here look " haider said
" No way how did u ...?" as he saw the same scene with terror in his mind but stopped while speaking as haider started to put the binoculars back in his bag and hung it on his shoulders .
" I would have waited for amusement
but look " Haider said in a hurry while pointing at the scene outside the main gate
There mark saw the security guard confronting a man who had blood on his arms and trying to bite the guard behind him there were also other people or should we say zombies running at a great speed which was never shown in a movie as in there zombies were slow but the exact opposite is what was seen here .
"Lets go! we don't have time to stroll here "
Haider said while running towards the stairs as and dragging mark with him
"Okay okay I'll follow " mark said while he returned from the shock of what he saw and started running behind Haider
They ran downstairs and in the hallway towards a specific classroom and entered it .There a class full of girls were seen as a lecture was going on at the time everyone was surprised by their appearance out of nowhere
" Sir ! We need to talk to them"
Haider requested the professor while pointing towards two girls about the same age as mark and haider .
"Okay go out side and wait till the end of this lecture boys " the professor said
A scream echoed the hall way due to which everbody felt fear strike their hearts as the scream was rather unpleasant to the students who never witnessed anything like this , As it felt like a scream of pain , everybody froze in terror .
" We need to go now " haider said while pointing a pistol in his one hand and a large kitchen knife about the size of two hands on his other towards the professor .
As the girls saw this they quietly went out due to seeing how serious the two boys were .While the professor stared at the two boys with confusion and fear in his eyes.
As the girls went out they said
"what the hell is going on Haider ? "
while their faces were full of confusion
