Chapter 126: EPISODE 126: The Path of Space!
At the end of our path, lies a legendary tower. A tower bearing a legendary Pokemon. From Zapdos to Articuno and Moltres, the legendary birds are also referred to as the winged mirages. These three creatures are closely bound to the guardian of the ocean, Lugia.
"Kalem... why is it getting foggy?" Riolu uttered with worry and fear while clinging to my shoulder.
Fog started to fill the path me and Riolu were walking in. Everything was looked blurred and hazy. All we can see are pebbles on the ground, and fog grazing through the whole path.
"This isn't normal Kalem... I'm scared." Riolu shivered in fear and closed his eyes slowly.
"You're always scared. Everything looks normal to me. There's nothing wrong with a foggy scenery!" I comforted and smiled while playing with Riolu's chin.
Riolu is always scared of the dark, heights, and even fog. He tends to shiver a lot, especially when he sees ghost type Pokemons.
I continued to walk down the path blindly. The only way to make sure if we were going the right way is if we can hear pebbles being crushed by my footsteps.
The path became silent and mute, not a single Pokemon made a sound... Not a single howl nor growl was heard. Me and Riolu could only feel the breeze heading towards our torso, and that's when I spotted a young little lass with long black hair blocking her face. She was wearing a golden dress, she did look scary, but she was an innocent child.
"Oh? Hello there... are you lost?" I queried while looking at the young girl. The girl hesitated to speak and walked closer towards me. Her face was emotionless, and all I heard were murmurs. Riolu didn't dare to open his two little eyes.
"Do... Do you need help? My name is Kalem by the way." I uttered with a scared and trembling voice.
"I want to play... Can we play?" The girl queried with a grinned face. It was like she was staring unto my soul.
"P...Play? Not now... I'm in a rush." I explained with a trembling voice.
"Come on... don't be scared, follow my voice." The girl's voice slowly echoed little by little. She was walking further from me, but the voice was getting louder.
"Follow my voice..." the girl uttered slowly. Her voice echoed throughout the path.
Her voice made me and Riolu drowsy. My body was telling me, follow the voice... follow the voice... I didn't hesitate to follow my body's instructions. The next thing I knew, was that I was already following the little girl.
"That's it... follow me, follow me..." The girl chuckled and whispered softly. Her voice made me and Riolu sleep. We dropped tired on the floor and slept deeply.

"Wh... Where am I?" I queried softly, as my vision became clear slowly by slowly. I was feeling cold and sick, I checked on my right and saw Riolu sleeping. It felt like I wasn't in any ordinary world. I looked to my left and saw twilight darkness, I looked to my right and saw the same thing. All I see are shadows and silhouettes of worn-out buildings, clothing, and even toys.
"Where in the world am I?" I queried softly while hugging my Riolu tightly to protect him.
Above me, all I saw was the night sky. The stars glittered beautifully and the moon shined brightly.
"Kalem where are we!?" Riolu queried and shivered with fear.
"I don't know Riolu... It looks like we're in a different world or something." I uttered softly while I rolled around our surroundings.
"Help..." A voice echoed loudly. The voice seemed hoarse and frightened of something.
"Help..." The voice echoed once more. I continued to walk around the dark and strange world, as I walk further, unexpected things started to happen.
"He's watching you..." The voice echoed unto our ears. I looked behind myself and saw nothing near me, but when I looked forward I saw two blue eyes staring at me.
His body was started to shine right before our eyes. I saw a blue body, with metallic spikes surrounding it. On its chest was a pinkish emblem that continued to glow endlessly.
The strange Pokemon began to stare at me and Riolu's soul, it made metallic noises while walking towards me.
"Run... Run..."The voice instructed.
"Don't make him catch you. He will kill you." The voice warned.
I started to gasp for air and ran backward. I closed my eyes while running as fast as I can. I was holding Riolu tightly.
The strange blue metallic Pokemon began to chase for us as well. While running, it uttered strange and disrupting noises.
I opened my eyes to see where I was heading, and that's when I looked up to see different planets gliding and crushing each other.
<D...>The Pokemon uttered with a metallic voice while rushing towards us.
"Don't listen to him... He will trick you. He is a murderer." the voice instructed.
I continued to run and follow the instructions of the voice. The Pokemon began to run faster than ever, and that's when large asteroids descended from the sky. The falling debris from the crushed planets charged for me and Riolu.
"Keep running... Trust me, and I will keep you safe." the voice instructed.
Fear made tears flow through my eyes. I couldn't bear to run anymore. My legs were brittle and exhausted from running.
<D...>The Pokemon uttered with a metallic voice and rushed faster than before.
I was coming across a small bridge, and that's when a blue portal appeared in front of me and Riolu.
"Hurry... Get inside the portal, he's chasing you." the voice instructed.
Hesitation filled my body, but I had no choice, I and Riolu's lives are at stake. Without further ado, I jumped to the blue portal and fell endlessly.
"Ahh!" I uttered loudly while falling to nowhere at first. All I saw was darkness here, and darkness there. The blue metallic Pokemon was unable to make it through the portal.
I closed my eyes due to fear, and opened them again only to see another world.
The world seemed barren and desolate. it had a violet sky with broken trees everywhere.
"You are safe... for now." The voice uttered and disappeared.
"Riolu... it's ok, we're safe. Don't worry." I comforted my crying Riolu while gasping for air.
A strange old man walked towards me. He had the same cap, just like me. On his left hand was a tall wooden crane.
"Who are you...?" I queried.
"My name is Kalem Ketsueki..." the old man uttered softly. Someone behind me also came forth, he had the same cap as me except that he looked smaller and younger.
"I am Kalem Ketsueki..." the voice uttered softly.
Another man cameforth, he was wearing black armor with the Chaos logo. He uttered softly and said "I am Kalem Ketsueki."
A lot of men came and circled me. Some were young and some were old. There were some which were part of evil organizations.
"I am Kalem ketsueki." All of them uttered softly while circling me.
Everything started to feel louder than usual, and that's when the voice returned.
"Listen to my command and do not fear. They are you, in a parallel universe. They look deceiving and strange, but whatever you do... do not touch them." the voice instructed.
I looked above and saw purple eyes staring at me. It had a metallic body with a purple filling.
<P...>The Pokemon uttered softly while descending from the sky.
"I am kalem Ketsueki..." different versions of myself walked closer to me, their voice seemed to strengthen as the Pokemon slowly descended from the sky.
The purple sky turned white, I heard strange noises like those in a clock. Tick... Tick... It sounded loudly.
"Do not touch them!" the voice instructed.
"I am Kalem ketsueki..." My different versions started to touch my hand, but I dodged their tries.
"Riolu... hang in there, hang in there." I uttered with worry.
The different versions of myself began to crawl like mindless zombies. That's when a strange Sillhouette started to attack the descending Pokemon.
A sky battle occurred, but their movement was too fast. All I hear are glides and soars through the sky.
"Go inside the portal... Go!" The voice instructed as a golden portal opened all of a sudden.
Without hesitation I jumped immediately and fell into a golden world.
The world was full of riches and diamonds. Emeralds and Lazulis can be seen throughout the strange world.
Floating above me were Arceus pendants. Everything seemed normal at first, that's when things began to whirl.
My hand, Riolu, and the whole golden world started to swivel and twirl. It was deforming, as the pendants flowed through me and Riolu's body.
Everything swirled and collided against each other, gold floated at the side, above, and even under. Me and Riolu slowly deformed, and that's when the voice appeared again.
"Follow me... and jump to the portal. Follow me... and jump to the portal." The voice echoed as a red portal opened underneath.
Without hesitation I trusted the voice, and jumped to the portal. It was filled with twilight darkness. I slowly fell into the world, and the portal closed.
Strange sounds can be heard everywhere. Screams, laughter, fear, hatred, joy, and sadness.
I fell into a small purple island, and that's where I saw dozens of the same Island.
There were hundreds of floating islands, some even floated in the side. Some islands clashed to each other and some islands broke into smaller pieces.
"Very good young lad..." the voice echoed throughout the place.
The islands were somehow forming something. Something was trying to control the islands around me.
Two red eyes appeared with the twilight darkness. It was large and massive, strange and odd.
"Welcome to my world... you are now my prisoner. Let's play a game, shall we?" the voice echoed loudly.
The voice had the same voice as the girl who wanted to play with me. Matter around the world I was, began to swivel and twirl. I trusted the voice... and where did that lead me?
To the distortion world...
