Chapter 92: EPISODE 92: False Prophets!
"Dratini, it's time for you to be officially mine!" I beamed with joy and knelt before her.
<Drat? Dratini?>The Pokemon tilted her head sideways and wondered what I was talking about.
"In order for us to understand each other, we need to communicate with each other thoroughly, and that will only happen with this gem!" I beamed with joy and showed Dratini the Poketrans gem! It was the last piece left, and she deserves to wear it.
<Dratini?>The Pokemon continued to wonder in confusion.
"A Poketrans gem is the smallest gem known to mankind! It was made by my mother and father. This gem will allow me to understand whatever you're talking about. This gem is also a symbol of ownership, meaning, I own you!" I smiled while placing the gem on Dratini's neck.
"Look at you, you look stunning with the gem in your neck! Try talking, I'll be able to understand your text!" I beamed happily.
"What kind of talk?" Dratini queried.
"See! I can understand you now, isn't it amazing!?" I beamed at my little slithering Dratini.
"You can understand me?" Dratini moved her head sideways and queried with confusion.
"You heard right Dratini, I can understand you! Now? it's time to teach you how to battle!" I uttered with determination.
"Teach me how to battle?" Dratini moved her head sideways and queried with confusion.
"Yup! You're going to battle with me at the Pokemon League in eight months time, but during that time? You'll be stronger and better!" I uttered with encouragement.
"Wh... What's a Pokemon League?" Dratini queried while looking at my eyes.
"A Pokemon league is a super cool competition wherein trainers around the region can battle together to become the champion, or in other words... League Champion!" I explained with an affiliative smile.
"So what do you say Dratini? Wanna battle some wild Pokemons?" I queried with excitement as determinatin flowed through my blood.
"Um... Ok then! Let's battle other Pokemons!" Dratini uttered with a captivating smile.
Me and Dratini went to the woods all alone, while Riolu and my other Pokemons stayed at the camp to help my friends do their chores. We were about to continue our journey to the cavern, so my friends had to keep the dishes and tents we used.
The forest was calm and quiet, it had a beautiful array of blooming flowers. Above us was the never ending shine of the morning flower, as the breeze danced with the white fluffy clouds. This is the perfect time to train Dratini! She'll evolve in no time!
"Lombre, I challenge you to a battle!" I beamed with exuberance and called Lombre who was sleeping in his pond. Lombre heard my voice and leaped into action right away!
<Lombre! Lom!>The Pokemon shouted as it raged with anger! I wasn't suppose to wake it up, but my Dratini needs experience in battling.
"Dratini! Let's do some training!" Dratini moved forward with a determined smile on her face.

"Dratini, use water gun or Lombre!" I instructed.
<Lom! Lombre!>The Pokemon jumped and dodged the attack!
*Lombre used razor leaf!*
"Dratini, dodge it quick!"
<Drat!>The Pokemon was unable to dodge Lombre's attack right away.
*Lombre used Razor leaf again!*
"Dratini dodge that attack then follow it up with water gun!"
"Right!" The Pokemon nodded her head and dodged Lombre's Razor Leaf!

*The pokemon squeezed Lombre tightly!*
"Now use water gun!"

"Oh no Dratini!"

"Dratini, don't give up yet! Now use water gun!"
*Dratini used water gun and charged it towards Lombre's face!*

<Lombre Lomb!>The Pokemon raged and left the area immidietly.
"Wow, that Lombre is triggered! I shouldn't have awaken it from its sleepy slumber but hey? Did you enjoy the battle?" I knelt down towards Dratini and questioned her with a captivating and proud smile.
"Battling is fun! I love to battle... I want to battle more!" Dratini's eyes were filled with sparkles as her eagerness to battle more wild Pokemon suddenly increased by a hundered and one percent!
"That's the spirit, but first... we have to decide on a new move!"
"New move?"
"Yup! You need a new move aside from water gun and wrap! Hmm... ah! I know, hey Irys, do you any good moves for Dratini?"
"Hmm, let's see, since Dratini already has a water and normal attack, why not add a dragon attack?"
"A dragon attack? What kind of Dragon attack?"
"Let's start with a weak dragon type move called twister. It has a power percentage of 40, while its accuracy percentage is 100! The user whips up a vicious tornado to tear at the foe. It may also make the foe flinch."
"Really? Great! Dratini, you're going to learn a new move called Twister, so let's do some special training!" I beamed with excitement and determination.
"Alright Kalem! I want to learn twister!" Dratini jumped with determination.
"In order to learn twister, Dratini must spin its tail, gather wind, and unleash it towards the foe!" Irys the Pokedex instructed.
"Alright Dratini, you heard that loud and clear, now start spinning your tail!" I instructed with determination in my heart.
<Drat! Drat! Drat!>The Pokemon twisted her tail to gather wind in a circular motion.
"Alright Dratini, keep it coming! you're doing it, I can see the wind circulating your leg!"
<Dratini!>The Pokemon spinned her tail even faster than before!
<Drat...Drat!>The move failed as the wind stopped circulating. Dratini felt disappointed at herself.
"Don't worry Dratini, you'll learn the attack soon enough! All we need is to train even harder! Now, let's try it again!" I instructed with encouragement.

"Kalem turned on the device, which means... my location has been sent to their headquarters!" Camellia started to panic inside her tent while trying to remove the battery from the device.
"Guys, we have to leave now! It's time to go!" Camellia rushed outside her tent and uttered with worry.
"Why are you in a rush Camellia? There's no need to panic, besides, Kalem and Dratini are training in the woods." Zhery calmed Camellia while fixing her tent.
"Just hurry, we have to leave immidietly, before... nevery mind! Just hurry up!" Camellia switched statements and went inside her tent again.
She tried to rush everything while fixing her bag and her research notebooks. Camellia's heart pounded harder than before as sweat fell off her face.

"Dratini, you're doing great! Keep it up!" This is our eight time practicing the move called Twister. Dratini couldn't harness the wind's energy, but as she tried again, she was getting used to it.
<Dratini, drat! Dratini!>The Pokemon tried her best to harness the wind, she kept on spinning her tail as the wind gre taller and taller just like a tornado.
"Great work, now unleash the move!"
<Drat! Dratini! Dratini! Drat? Drat...>The Pokemon tried to unleash the tornado but failed again, just in the perfect moment, Dratini accidently stopped spinning her tail. She felt disappointed and sad that she couldn't learn the move Twister.
Watching from a hill, was a man with a white tuxedo. Beside him, were two black men wearing heavy armor.
"Hmm? This boy looks like a future commander of the regime, doesn't he?" Zylon queried softly while watching me comfort Dratini.
"Are you planning to encourage him to join team Chaos?" One of the grunts reassured.
"He has the looks of a future commander, soon? That boy will serve the real king, the real emperor, and the real God!" Zylon uttered softly as he examined every move I make.
"On your command Zylon, when shall we ambush him?"
"No no, don't ambush him! He's just a kid, let me do the talking. Come on, let's go!" Zylon uttered softly and walked down with his twoo grunts.
"Dratini, soon? You'll learn twister! Believe in yourself!" I comforted and encouraged while sitting beside a tree.
"But I can't learn the move, no matter what I do? it keeps on failing."
"Then try again! There's still room for improvement anyways!" I encouraged while playing with Dratini's face.
"So, trying to teach your Dratini the move twister?" Somebody behind the tree spoke as he spinned his Pokeball on his index finger.
"Who's there, show yourself!" I instructed with bravery while trying to protect Dratini.
"Don't worry boy, I won't hurt you." Zylon cameforth slowly with his two grunts.
"Who are you, and what do you want... Hey I know you! You're the one in the restaurant!" My bravery turned into anger.
"Dratini, stay back! These are dangerous people called team Chaos!" I blocked Dratini from Zylon and his grunts. Dratini began to shiver in fear as she tucked her body between my legs.
"Hush now little kid, I'm not going to kill you. Team Chaos doesn't kill anyone." Zylon uttered slowly.
"You think I'll believe that!? Even the news stated that your kingdom can take over a city in one night!"
"Now now, let's face the truth shall we?"
"What truth? News don't lie!"
"And who told you that? The news itself? Team Chaos can't take over a city in one night, and first of all... why in the world would we do that?"
"I don't know! You guys are unpredictable, so I suggest to stop hiding from the shadows and show the world your true colors!"
"We are showing our true colors, invading a city seems pointless right? Team Chaos doesn't want to start a war. We fight for justice, respect, and prosperity!"
"That's the opposite of what you do! You cause destruction, and liberation!"
"Show me then, show me a news report which shows the destruction of team Chaos? ... Can't think of any? Cause we didn't destroy anything."
"Yes you did! Your leader caused havoc by unleashing Palkia and Dialga unto this region!"
"That's what people want you to believe in! The truth is, the elite four forsakened the king. He was thrown out of the elite category due to his strength and power. Melody of the elite four banned Arville so she can be the strongest of the elite four! It was the elite four who unleashed Palkia and Dialga, they said that Arville was the one who did it so that the Pokemon Police Department would side with the elites. I was a detective of thee PPD and realized that it was the elite four who did it! I tried to convince my brother but he wouldn't believe me! So I decided to leave the PPD and joined the regime instead."
"I've met the elite four and-"
"The strongest out of all of them is Melody right? Don't you realize how cruel the Elite four was just to obtain superiority?"
"Impossible! I know you're playing with my mind, you can't convince me to join team Chaos because Chaos is your goal!"
"Let me guess? The news told you that as well? The truth is, Chaos stands for Compassion Among the Outright Superiors! The main goal of team Chaos is to return those who were forsaken by those who want to take their place!"
"No, it can't be! Your goal is to capture Gods!"
"Capture Gods? We live to serve them! There are those who live to tell false tales, we are the truth Kalem! We are the righteous! Your parents didn't care about you right?"
"My parents cared about me! If th-"
"If they cared for you, then why would they focus on their work rather than listening to your questions?"
"How did you know about that? It's because of the device wasn't it!"
"The device!? Tell me, where is the device!"
"What do you want to do with it?"
"Tell me now Kalem! Where is the device, are you friends with a girl named Ca-"
"Stop right there Zylon!" The elite four made a debut in this route as they walked slowly towards us.
"No! Leave the kid alone, don't try to fool him with all of your fake tales!" Zylon blocked and protected me from elite four.
"Draco, Alice, Melody, Groyle? The elite four!" I beamed with excitement.
"Leave Kalem alone Zylon, the kid doesn't belong to you!" Melody commanded while holding her Pokeball tightly.
"Kalem, I may not protect for long, you have to leave right away!" Zylon instructed as the two grunts sided with Zylon.
"Kalem, don't believe whatever Zylon says to you, he's one of the most influencial men in this region!" Draco warned.
"I can't let you forsake the kid just like what you did to Arville! This kid has a bright future ahead of him, so leave him alone!" Zylon commanded the elite four.
I started to become confused with everything, I don't know who is the liar and who is telling the truth.
"Kalem, come with us, we'll protect you from team Chaos!" Alice extended her hand as I slowly walked towards the elite four.
"No Kalem! Don't listen to them, they'll forsake you just like what they did to Arville! Can't you see? We are the light, the elite four spreads nothing but superiority! Tell him Melody! Tell him the truth! You forsaked Arville!" Zylon shouted out loud.
"We... we-"
"Don't think of anymore lies! The truth is now, tell the boy, tell him the truth!" Zylon shouted with a convincing voice as Melody and the elite four looked worried.
"See Kalem!? Your elite four couldn't answer my request, because it's true! They were the ones who removed Arville from the elite four. Come and take my hand Kalem, join the Chaos regime and you'll never feel forsaken!" Zylon extended his hand. I stood in the center of team Chaos and elite four, but who should I trust? the elite four seems suspiscious, while Zylon was convincing.
"Kalem, you'll only see shadows at their kingdom, there is no light there, only torture, pain, and wrath!" Alice warned while extending her hand.
"Don't believe her Kalem! Where is the wrath of team Chaos? Which channel showed the wrath of team Chaos? They're playing with your mind! Tell him Melody! Tell him what you did to Arville!" Zylon shouted loudly.
"I... I," Melody uttered slowly.
"Finish your statement! Tell him now! Reveal to the next generation how cruel the elite four is!" Zylon shouted.
"Melody, just tell the truth already." Groyle suggested.
"Fine! We did forsake Arville bu-" Melody was interrupted by Zylon.
"See Kalem! The elite four told the truth! They were the ones who forsakened Arville, now join us and together we shall apply a bandage on the crimes the elite four has done!" Zylon shouted.
"You really kicked Arville out of the elite four?" I queried as tears slowly fell down my eyes.
"Kalem, listen to me... the reason why we ki-"
"The four of you were my idols! I believed in the four of you! Draco, you said you were my father's friend! My father doesn't have an evil friend! I trusted the four of you. I thought you were the ones who fought against the dark! Why? Why!?" My brain started to hurt as my feelings got crushed into pieces.
"Join me Kalem, come with me... In the chaos regime? No one sheds a tear!" Zylon uttered slowly and extended his hand.
"Kalem, please don't believe Zylon! Take my hand Kalem, I know Zylon seems convincing but he's lying!" Alice uttered with worry.
"Lying? Melody just told the truth! She removed Arville from the elite four! How can I trust you now? You're the certain enemy aren't you? The four of you are! My mother and father created those Pokemons not to destroy team Chaos but to destroy the four of you!" I cried and uttered slowly while Dratini tried to comfort me.
"Yes Kalem, that is the truth! Now you've realized it... come with us now!" Zylon begged.
"Gardevoir use Moonblast right now!" Melody tossed her Pokeball and released Gardevoir. Gardevoir attacked Zylon and his grunts while Alice quickly grabbed my hand.
"Kalem, are you alright?" Draco queried but I ignored him and the rest of the elite four.
"Kalem, we'll come back for you! Hang in there!" Zylon and his grunts retreated and left the site for good.
"Kalem, I know your mind is all messed up now, but you have to believe us! The elite four kicked out Arville for a good reason." Melody rushed towards me and explained with a worried face.
"A good reason? What kind of reason? For superiority!? So you could become the top one of the elite four!?" I badgered.
"Kalem, the reason why we kicked Arville out of the elite four was because he was too ambitious. He had a plan to harness the power of the Gods! He wanted us to approve his plans but we disagreed! I had to remove Arville for the sake of the elite four not because I want to be top one! Arville nearly killed me when I kicked him out of the elite four, he created his own machine and unleashed Palkia and Dialga into the Laurenburg region! We felt sad Kalem, we didn't want to remove Arville but we didn't have any choice at all. Arville is evil... Team Chaos can be convincing, they try to interrupt statements of other people to prove that we're the wrong ones. That's what they did, that's why they're a kingdom! They're false prophets Kalem!" Melody explained.
"Look, I don't know who's telling the truth anymore. I'm already confused with everything. I'm just going to leave... Come Dratini!" I uttered solemnly while wiping my tears away.
"Kalem, please try to understand. Please don't find and join team Chaos." Alice begged worriedly.
"Let Kalem for now, he'll feel better soon." Draco suggested.
"I can't let another trainer fall into the hands of team Chaos! A lot of traners lost their lives,I can't let Kalem's life dissolve too." Melody uttered with worry.
"Kalem! Whatever you decide upon, do not ever regret it!" Groyle shouted as I walked farther away from them.
Now? I'm extremely confused. I don't know who's telling the truth and who's lying? Why is that everytime I walk closer to the cavern, more unexpected things happen? Who are the false prophets? Is it the elite four? Or... the Chaos regime?
"Beatrice, we need your help!" Melody uttered in her Xtransciever.
