"Officer Jenny! Officer Jenny!" A private rushed into the control center of the Pokemon Police Department.
"Is there anything wrong private James?" Officer Jenny queried.
"Numerous grunts have been spotted throughout the region! A lot of people are being hostages, especially at Silvent City!" The private announced with worry.
"Grunts!? Hostages!? Alert all available units, send them to Silvent City right away!" Officer Jenny commanded.
It was midnight during the time the Chaos Regime attacked Silvent City. Large explosions occurred in the city just like what happened at the Silver-heart Lab. People tried to run, while available forces fought off the grunts.
"Ampharos, use thunder punch!"
"Quick, Liepard! Use Ice Beam!"
Even Mr.Florence tried to protect his people and his daughter Elly. It was like a war fought with only a few men. The situation was getting worse as the Pokemon department tried to rush towards the city.
Numerous people were held hostage as large black airplanes flew across the city, dropping tons of smoke bombs across the region. The people were crying and screaming for help as their Pokemon were being abused by the grunts. The news was right, they can take down a city in one night.
As for me and my friends? We were able to leave the city before the hostage happened. We were already in route twenty one, sleeping humbly when all of these explosions occurred.
"Ampharos! Thunder Punch!" Mr.Florence commanded with bravery while Elly hides behind his father's leg. Elly was traumatized by the event, there was nothing she could do but to cry.
The city was filled with thick smoke due to the smoke bombs. This made the grunts easier to move around without getting caught. Available trainers tried to fight the grunts but failed. They were captured by the grunts and were placed in a small underground room together with the other hostages.
while Ampharos was trying to fight off a grunt, a strange man went came forth with his metallic black helmet. His cape flapped with the wind as his sword blinded Mr.Florence's sight. He was walking with arrogance as a group of elite grunts surrounded and protected their Fallen King. Arville was there, and he was the one who ordered the attack.
Beside Arville, was the five commanders of the Chaos regime alongside with the executive leader, Elanor.
"Stay out of my city!" Mr.Florence shouted while Elly shivered in fear as her tears fell off her eyes.
"Your city? Silvent City is now my city! I own this place, the chaos regime owns this city from now on!" Arville uttered with his nefarious voice.
"Silvent City does not belong to men like you! Why do you even want to conquer the city?" Mr.Florence queried.
"To expand my empire of course! I live for two reasons, to be an emperor and... to be a God. Once I conquer this city, I shall conquer seven more, and my regime shall be called an empire." Arville whispered at his ear.
"Are you team Plasma or something!? What's next, you plan to freeze the city!?" Mr.Florence compared and hunched.
"Don't ever compare me to Ghetsis! I am a king, he is a leader! I have the upper hand against those Plasma fools! I am the strongest, wealthiest person in the world! So don't ever compare me or I'll chop your head!" Arville shouted and pointed in sword at Mr.Florence's neck.
"You were never a king, you were never strong, you were never powerful, you declared that yourself! You made that by yourself! You made yourself a king!"
Arville felt rage and frustration conquer his body, he wanted to slice Mr.Florence's head but he was too late. The Pokemon Police Department arrived at the city.
The police officers fought against the grunts while a quadrant together with officer Jenny came to the lighthouse to help Mr.Florence.
"Arville, let the gym leader go!" Officer Jenny ordered as she got off the car.
"Well, well, is the region in war with the regime?" Arville queried sarcastically as the grunts and officers pointed their Pokemons at each other.
"Leave Mr.Florence alone, leave the city alone, or else!" Officer Jenny ordered while trying to hide her fear.
"Or else what!? Do you think you can win against me?" Arville uttered and went closer to officer Jenny.
"Don't come any closer, you're under arrest! Leave the city at once or we'll arrest you!" Officer Jenny ordered with a slight fear of the approaching fallen king.
"Arrest me? You dare arrest a king? Now that's what I call foolishness. Leave the city at once, or my grunts will order their Pokemon to kill all of you. Not faint, kill!" Arville warned.
Officer Jenny was silent for a while as she thought of a decision. She didn't have the skills of detective Looker who could decide immediately. If she declared a war against the regime, she knew they would lose, if she lets the city be captured, the freedom of the citizens will be captured. What would be her decision?
"Officer Jenny, should we command our Pokemon?" one of the officers asked. Officer Jenny ignored what the officer said as she continued to think deeply.
"Officer, we need your approval! Answer us officer!" Another officer uttered loudly.
"Officer Jenny! Officer!" The other police tried to wake up their general but there was no use.
"That's it! Kill them all!" Arville uttered as the Pokemons belonging to the grunt shot everyone with their powerful moves, when all of a sudden...
"Ahhh!!!" I screamed loudly as my eyes snapped open. I was covered in a cold sweat as my heart pounded harder while I looked around my tent.
"Kalem, you're too noisy! Keep it down." Riolu uttered silently and went back to sleep.
I went out of my tent and looked towards the east where the lighthouse of Silvent City could be found. The city was silent, there were no explosions nor grunts scattering around the city. The night was peaceful as the moon shined brightly.
"Another nightmare!?" I spoke and gasped for air as my heart started to pound slower while I return to my mundane existence.
I sat at the lush grass, the nightmare caught my mind. I didn't feel sleepy, only scared and frightened.
I began to recall my nightmare but all I remembered was horrific screams of the people being captured in the city. Why would I even dream about something like that? The horrific nightmare made my soul and mind feeble as my body couldn't move in fear.
"Silvent city under the rule of the Chaos regime?" I queried unto myself and thought of the nightmare I experienced.
While staring at the bright moon, looking scared and frightened, Zorua yawned loudly as she stepped out of my tent.
Zorua walked with her sleepy little paws as her body swayed with lethargy.
"Hey Zorua, you had a nightmare too huh?" I smiled, hunched, and grabbed Zorua's sleepy body.
"Why are you outside Kalem?" Zorua queried with a drowsy voice.
"Nothing, I just had a nightmare. That's all! There's nothing to worry about." I smiled at my drowsy Pokemon. Zorua licked my face and fell asleep at my lap.
"Riolu's right, you really look cute when you sleep." I smiled at my sleeping Zorua while sliding my hand across her twilight fur.
While Zorua was sleeping on my lap, one of the rings in her necklace began to glow. The glowing ring caught my attention so I decided to touch the ring.
"Ahh!" I got shocked when I touched the golden ring. I was teleported to an unknown underground cave, filled with cerulean water, Zorua was still sleeping at my lap. I decided to let go of the ring and I returned to the camp.
"What the?" I uttered with confusion as I tried to touch Zorua's ring again. It seems to me, every time I touch the ring, I would teleport to an unknown location, if I let go of the ring, I would return to my normal location.
"Zorua, Zorua wake up!" I shook Zorua's body. Zorua woke up and yawned loudly again.
"What is it this time Kalem? I'm sleepy." Zorua uttered with drowse as her eyes twinkled.
"Can, I borrow that ring," I begged and pointed.
Zorua was very sleepy, she didn't care about what the master of the seven golden rings commanded. With her dark powers, she broke the ring from the necklace and placed it at my hand.
"You can have that, just don't lose it," Zorua uttered with drowse and went back to sleep.
"Thanks, Zorua, you're the best!" I hugged Zorua's body and stood up. Zorua fell asleep at the lush grass while I teleported to the underground cave.
"Why in the world did you give the ring to Kalem!?" A voice suddenly spoke at Zorua's head which woke her up.
"Ring? What ring? The rings are perfectly fine." Zorua uttered with drowse.
"You gave the fourth golden ring to Kalem!" The voice recalled.
"Ah!? I forgot! I accidentally gave the ring to Kalem!" Zorua's drowse disappeared as she realized her grave mistake.
"Accidently gave the ring!? How is that an accident?"
"Look! It's midnight Mr.Ring guy! Everybody is sleepy and I was sleepy too!" Zorua explained and teased.
"Sleepy!? You were sleepy, that's why you gave the ring!? Great! Now look what you did to your trainer, he's in the cavern!"
"Jeez, you don't have to shout at my mind! It's midnight!"
"How can you find your trainer now!?"
"He'll come back, he teleported to the past anyways," Zorua uttered.
"Didn't you realize what you just did!? Kalem has been teleported to another period in time! Meaning, there's a Kalem in the cavern and there's another Kalem mourning with his Riolu at the Citrus orphanage!"
"You mean, Kalem was teleported to a time I was still an egg?" Zorua reassured.
"Yes! At least they're in different locations, but still... if Kalem and Kalem 2.0 see each other, the whole parallel universe is destroyed!"
"Parallel Universe? That's a new one on me!"
"That's a story for another time, but now, I need you to bring Kalem back to the real world!"
"How am I suppose to find Kalem? I don't have a ring!"
"I'll teleport you to the cavern and the time period, bring Kalem back to the real world!" The voice commanded and teleported Zorua to the cavern.
I strolled around the cavern for a while, I didn't know that I was in the cavern, I thought I was in some underground cave or somethin'
My eyes were confused with surroundings, there were large artifacts and ancient writings scattered all over the place, then Zorua began to bark at me!
<Zor! Zor!>The Pokemon barked.
"Oh, Zorua, this place is amazing! Let's explore this place together!" I beamed with excitement.
"Give me back the ring Kalem!" Zorua begged.
"This ring? I'll give it back once I'm done looking around." I beamed.
"No! I need the ring now, give it back!" Zorua pounced on my legs and begged.
"Don't be such a killjoy, I just want to explore this underground cave!" I beamed with excitement.
"No! You're going here anyway so give me back the ring or I'll pee at your shoe when you sleep!" Zorua warned.
"So you mean, I'm in the Cavern of the Deep!" I got even more excited.
"Yes you are! Now give me my ring back or your shoe will be stinky forever!" Zorua warned.
"Alright fine, let's go... ahhhh!!" The floor suddenly collapsed! I and Zorua fell down, while falling I grabbed Zorua's body and hugged it tightly to protect her.
We fell to the deeper part of the cavern, an area filled with Zubats and ancient writings.
"Are you alright Zorua?" I queried.
"I am... now look what you did!?" Zorua stood up and barked at me.
"So what, it's just a hole, and this place looks even more amazing than the one above us!" I beamed with exuberance.
"You better hide your shoe later! Hmph!" Zorua uttered with frustration and followed me.
Everything seems to be normal at first, there were large artifacts, flying Zubats, rocky ambiance, and a bunch of stalagmites! My eyes were in awe with the cavern until something caught my eye.
There were two circular test tubes, filled with blue unknown substances. Inside these test tubes were two violet Pokemons floating around.
"Oh no, Mr.Ring's gonna kill me if he knew Kalem saw the bio-weapons!" Zorua uttered with worry.
"Project Gen45B? Project Gen46A? What are they doing here!? Ah! Could my parents be here!?" I started to wonder as I read the label underneath the test tubes.
"Kalem, we have to go now!" Zorua barked.
"No Zorua, we have to look for my parents! They're here somewhere!" I beamed with excitement.
"Kalem, let's go! You're not supposed to see this in the first place!" Zorua barked louder.
"No way, I'm going to look for my parents, and I'm going to bring them back!"
"Kalem, you're looking at the- I mean, come on Kalem let's go!" Zorua switched statements as she remembered what the voice said to her.
"Why are you acting like this Zorua? Are you hiding something from me?"
"No I'm not! That's it, I'm sorry Kalem!" Zorua bit my leg very tightly.
"Ouch! Zorua why did you bite me!?" I queried as I accidentally dropped the ring.
Zorua was about to grab the ring but the golden ring disappeared into ashes. Since the ring wasn't on my hand, me and Zorua teleported back to the camp.
"Woah!" I beamed with shock as we returned to our normal location.
When I returned back to camp, I felt sleepy all of a sudden. My heart began to pound slower as my eyes began to close. I dropped at the grass with Zorua, and the both of us fell asleep..........
"Kalem! Wake up, what are you doing here!?" Zhery queried and shook my sleeping body.
"Oh, Zhery... I must've fallen asleep after... after... um, the... um?" I tried to recall what happened but the memory swooped out of existence.
"Um... um what? What are you talking about!?" Zhery queried.
"The thing! I forgot what it was but, there was um! then ah!!" I tried to recall as hard as I can but didn't remember a single thing.
"Maybe it was just a dream, after all we tend to forget our dream once we wake up." Zhery hunched,
"No! It's not a dream... I promise! Me and Zorua were um, over um... their thingy!" I tried to express my memory but nothing came up.
"Kalem! Kalem! The egg is hatching!" Gardevoir called from a distance.
"The egg!? Really? Come on Zorua! We have to see this remarkable event!" I beamed with excitement and grabbed Zorua's body.
"And he runs off again!" Zhery sighed and facepalmed herself.
It was still unclear to me what kind of vision I just had. Was it a corrupt one? Why couldn't I remember the vision? Why would I forget it all of a sudden? Gardevoir uttered that my egg was about to hatch. What kind of Pokemon will hatch from my egg!? The answer is to come as the journey continues.
