"So Glade! What do you say we battle? I want to battle your newly evolved Luxray!" I begged with my panda doll eyes.
"What!? How come you asked Glade to battle his newly evolved Pokemon, and not my newly evolved Eevee?" Zhery queried with slight jealousy.
"Nah! Espeon can battle later, I want to battle Luxray!" I beamed with determination.
"Umm, alright then? What do you say Luxray?" Glade spoke towards his newly evolved Pokemon with a big determined smile.
<Luxray! Lux! Lux!> The Pokemon nodded and agreed!
"Alright Kalem, me and Luxray accept your battle!" Glade agreed with a big determined smile on his face.
"Finally! Ok Glade and Luxray, I won't be holding back!"
"We won't go easy on you even if you're my friend!"
It's time to battle in the desert! A lot of advantages lie when you battle an opponent in the desert.
"Alright Scyther! I'll be using you." I uttered with determination and sent out Scyther out of his Pokeball.
"Thunder Strike Luxray!" Glade called on his Luxray to the battlefield.
While I and Glade are battling, Zhery and Camellia were cooking our delicious lunch!

"We won Kalem!" Scyther smiled and hugged back.
"Luxray, don't get disappointed! They won fair and square." Glade comforted and played with Luxray's chin.
"Your battling skills are really developing Kalem! Using Scyther as a ground wire? Amazing!" Glade complemented.
"Thanks! You and Luxray were amazing too!" I complimented and fist-bumped with Glade.
"Kalem! Glade! The food is ready!" Zhery called.
"Alright! We're coming!" Glade replied as we walked back to camp!
Camellia cook her curry recipe. To be honest, Camellia's curry is more delicious than Ms. Beatrice's curry. Don't tell Zhery that I told you that. Shhh!
"Thank you for the food!" We beamed with our murmuring stomachs and dined it!
After that long lunch break at route twenty, I helped out in washing the dishes. You're probably wondering how I'm washing the dishes in the desert wherein water is scarce? Well the truth is, Squirtle helped out as well! Squirtle's water gun made the plates clean and shiny!
"So... um, Kalem, are we still going to the cavern?" Camellia queried worriedly hoping that I'll say no. She was wiping the dishes while I cleaned.
"Of course we are! My parents are there!" I beamed with determination.
"But what if they're not there?" Camellia queried worriedly.
"Of course they're there! Why do you seem like you don't want to go to the cavern?" I uttered with suspiciousness towards Camellia.
"Ah!? Um, nothing. I was just asking..." Camellia uttered worriedly.
"Come on Camellia, I know you're hiding something from me. Tell me." I pleaded.
"Nothing's wrong Kalem, I was just asking that's all." Camellia hesitated.
"Tell me Camellia! Please, I know how you look when you're trying to hide a secret." I uttered.
"Um... but don't get mad if I tell you."
"Me? Get mad? Of course I won't!"
"The truth is... I, am-"
"Kalem! Camellia! The elite four are here!" Glade interrupted and rushed to the both of us.
"The Elite four really!?" I smiled with and beamed with excitement.
"Phew... That was a close one." Camellia uttered with relief as Glade interrupted her sentence. She was almost forced to tell me the truth about something I don't know yet.
"Come on Camellia! Let's see the elite four!" I beamed and called.
"Alright, you guys go ahead. I'll catch up." Camellia uttered worriedly.
"Alright Camellia! We'll be waiting for you." I uttered and rushed off with Glade.
"If the elite four knows I'm here... I'm doomed," Camellia uttered to herself.
We saw the elite four, they were training and battling with each other! We decided to watch to battle, once there done... I'm going to ask them to battle me!
"Hey Glade! Hey Kalem, where's Camellia?" Zhery queried while watching the elite four battles against each other.
"Camellia said that she would catch up later," I explained and started to watch their battle!
The elite four are the top four most powerful trainers in the region! If you defeat the Pokemon league, then you are given the opportunity to battle the Elite four! Once you've defeated the four of them! You can proceed to the champion, if you defeat the champion then you'll be crowned as the new champion of the region!
The Elite four is composed of Groyle! A strong and muscular man who pursues the dream of becoming a master dojo, but when he was offered to be an elite four, he felt happy and pleased! Groyle is a man who specializes in fighting type Pokemons! Some say that almost 98% of all trainers can't defeat Groyle. I wonder if I'm part of that 98% percent?
Next up with have Alice! She is the youngest of the elite four! Her age is only twenty years old! She specializes in Psychic-type Pokemons, she loves to play and run around the grass if she has time! She is crowned as the most trustworthy trainer!
Number three is Draco! A trainer who believes in the path of the dark! He uses dark type Pokemons even though he's name is a dragon. He is the new addition to the elite four after Arville resigned as an elite four!
Lastly, we have the strongest Elite four! I present to you... drum roll please!!! I give you, Melody!!! A trainer who specializes in Fairy type Pokemon! She is considered to be the most influential woman in this region! 99% of all trainers can't defeat Melody! She loves to play the harp when she has time.
Of course, when you defeat all of them... You can battle the champion! Who is no other than Zhery's mother... Ms. Beatrice of the Citrus Home For The Lost! She is also crowned as a Pokemon Master and an excellent battling tactician! Her partner Pokemon is Alakazam, the Pokemon who defeated me and Riolu! My goal is to win the league and to sit on the throne!
In the Pokemon world, there are two things you must know. The regional champion and the league champion! The league champion can be changed per year but the regional champion can be changed if the trainer defeats the current regional champion after defeating the elite four!
Alright, enough explaining, it seems to me that the elite four are done battling! It's time for me to rush in and ask them to battle me!
"Kalem don't run off again!" Zhery tried to pull my jacket but she was too late. I already rushed toward the elite four.
"That Kalem's keep on rushing!" Zhery teased with frustration.
"He's excited, that's all!" Glade uttered and smiled.
"Come on Zhery, let's go greet the elite four!"
"Hey there Elite four! My name is Kalem and this is my buddy Riolu! We want to battle you!" I expressed with hurry.
"Um... who are you again?" Groyle requestioned.
"Kalem! My name is Kalem! This is Riolu." I explained and introduced.
"Oh, So Kalem, you must be a trainer right?" Melody queried.
"Yup! I currently have three badges, and I'm going to challenge the Pokemon league!" I uttered with determination and excitement.
"Hey... Aren't you the son of Mr. Cypress?" Draco queried.
"Yeah, I'm also Lyra's son as well!" I smiled.
"Kalem! Don't run off like that! Wait for us next time." Zhery rushed.
"Sorry, I got too excited that's all!" I uttered with embarrassment.
"Oh? If it isn't the child of the champion?" Alice smiled at Zhery.
"Hey there Ms. Alice, Ms. Melody, Mr.Draco, and Mr. Groyle." Zhery waved and greeted back.
"Wait, you've met them before!?" Glade wondered.
"Well duh!? My mother, 's the champion remember?" Zhery recalled.
"Oh right... We totally forgot about that. heh heh." I smiled and laughed back.
"Oh, and this must be Glade right? You, Kalem's dad, and I used to work together you know!" Draco recalled.
"Really? That's amazing!" I smiled and uttered with joy.
"Yeah, we used to work in the Johto region before moving here to this region. They moved to this region while I stayed in the Johto region for three more years. Then, I moved here to this region as well." Draco explained.
"So, elite four! Can you please accept my challenge?" I begged.
"Oh? So you want to battle us?" Alice reassured.
"Not an official battle, just a training battle!" I explained.
"If it's a training battle then sure thing! I'll battle you Kalem." Melody smiled.
"Melody please... Let me be the one to battle the child." Draco volunteered.
"You want to battle him?" Groyle wondered.
"Yeah! I want to see what the son of my friend has to offer. I want to see if he has the skills of his mother! I've heard about the Silvent City explosion. I sobbed when I knew that your mother and father died together with Glade's parents." Draco explained.
"So what do you say Kalem, do accept Draco's request?" Alice queried.
"Sure thing! Draco I accept your battle!" I uttered with determination.
"Cool! We'll watch you Kalem, but don't expect to win... you're battling the Elite four!" Zhery teased.
"Hey at least my Pokemon could grow stronger!" I beamed with determination. From the distance was Camellia observing our battle. She doesn't want to watch closer, I wonder why?
"Alright! The battle against Draco and Kalem is about to begin! Each trainer shall use one Pokemon each!" Melody volunteered.
"Alright kid! Feast your eyes on my Tyranitar!" Draco sent out his scary and tall looking Pokemon. It had huge eyes and looked dark green, it also had large spikes!
[Tyranitar! A rock and dark type. TYRANITAR is so overwhelmingly powerful, it can bring down a whole mountain to make its nest. This POKéMON wanders about in mountains seeking new opponents to fight]
"Alright then! I choose you Riolu!" I beamed with excitement as Riolu jumped down from my shoulder and hopped into the stage!
"Alright! Battle begin!" Melody declared.

"Riolu are you alright!" I uttered worriedly and picked up Riolu's tired body.
"Nice battling skills Kalem, I really see a future champ!" Draco complemented.
"Thanks, Draco, even if we lost, me and Riolu will still get stronger!" I beamed with determination as Riolu opened his eyes. Riolu hugged me back tightly.
"I know you'll get strong!" Draco uttered and stood me up.
"And we'll be waiting for you, once you become a league champion of course." Alice winked.
"Alright! I'll be a league champion and I'll rematch you Draco!" I uttered with determination.
"I'll be waiting kid!"
"Alright Elite four, it's time to go back to the plateau," Groyle called.
"We'll be going now Kalem, good luck on your journey." Melody greeted.
"Thanks! Take care on your way back!" I greeted along with Glade and Zhery.
"Alright Riolu, starting from now on, we're going to become the very best like no one ever was! Rivals across the region... Assemble! Cause I'm going to defeat you." I uttered with determination and confidence.
"Yeah Kalem! As long as I'm with you, I'll get stronger!" RIolu smiled and climbed my shoulder.
"Hey, that reminds me... Camellia missed the battle!" Zhery uttered worriedly.
"No worries Zhery! I watched the battle from our camp. Kalem was amazing." Camellia walked by and complimented.
"Alright guys... it's time to move closer to the Pokemon League! I'll show the elite four that I am worthy to battle them!" I said with determination.
Prepare Riolu! We're going to do some special training! Our match with one of the elite four made me even more determined than before!
