Chapter 25: EPISODE 25: Rampardos Rampage!
"Ahhhhh-hhhaaaaaa..." A young girl living in one of the hotels found within Covelry town wakes up peacefully and silently. Until...
"Wha... What time is it?" the young girl said groggily as she looked on the clock.
"Oh no! I slept too much, the professor's gonna kill me!" the young girl sputtered as she rushed to fix her things. Her Pokemon Eevee named "Ivy" was startled by the young girl's voice.
"Eev?" Ivy, her Pokemon questioned.
"Were going to be late Eevee! Its almost Eleven am! I might not even get a starter Pokemon anymore!" the young girl worried as she groomed her hair.
"Eev... Eev!" Ivy realized that today was a special day for her trainer! A day when a trainer receives her starter Pokemon.
The young girl, together with her Eevee on her shoulder, rushed towards the lobby downstairs. She rang the cashier bell a few times as she began to worry.
"Oh hi there Camellia, going so soon?" the old cashier lady queried.
"Yeah! I and Ivy woke up late today, now we're on a hurry to Professor Bellice's lab." The young girl named Camellia explained to the old cashier lady as she gave the old lady her room number.
"Ah! I see, your a young trainer aren't you?" the old cashier lady queried.
"Yup, I'm going to travel to different regions! and once I've done that, I can become a Pokemon professor just like Professor Bellice!" Camellia explained as her eyes were fired up with determination and spirit!
"Very well then, safe travels ahead my dear, oh... and best wishes too!" the old cashier lady waved as the young trainer Camellia and her Eevee named Ivy set off to the professor's lab.
"Professor, isn't she arriving yet?" one of professor Bellice's aids asked.
"Well, let's wait for her, she said she'll be here by eleven o clock." Professor Bellice, a young professor at around twenty-five years old who gives starter Pokemons and Pokedexes to new trainers who are about to go on their very first journey.
The doors of Professor Bellice's lab started to open as Camellia rushed towards her with her Eevee.
"P... Professor, I finally arrived! I'm sorry I got too late." Camellia and Ivy apologized and gasped for air.
"Its fine Camellia, come follow me..." the professor instructed Camellia as they passed to the Pokemon room.
"So, have you decided on your starter Pokemon?" Professor Bellice asked as they walked towards the Pokemon room.
"Umm, I'm not sure Professor, I don't know which starter will suit me the best! Froakie is strong but Fennekin is cute while Chespin is adorable. It's so hard to make a decision!" Camellia explained.
"I suggest to take a closer look, or scan them with the Pokedex that I'm about to give you, it will help you in deciding your starter Pokemon." Professor Bellice explained as they entered the Pokemon room, a room filled with Pokemon of all different types, a habitat for Pokemon! There's a small pond, large and tall trees, and a rocky habitat for rock type Pokemon. As they walked past the room, Camellia and Ivy were in awe.
"Wow professor! The Pokemon here are so cool and cuddly!"
"I know right, this is just part of the world of Pokemon! A world filled with Pokemon in all shapes and sizes, a world where People and Pokemon battle against each other, battle with each other, and help each other to achieve greatness! Pokemon are indeed fascinating species, species with incredible power and spirit! But because of that, there are those who only seek for power, those who seek for strength and will! Those who use Pokemons as slave. Pokemons are partners, they've been here before us, and they can live on this world without us." the Professor explained as they walked across the pokemon room filled with amazing and powerful Pokemon.
"And I want to travel with my Pokemon! I want to become a Pokemon professor, and study them! Just like you professor Bellice!" Camellia beamed in excitement.
"And in order to become a professor, you must adventure to different regions just like what I did! From your adventure, you can seek and know the true potential of being a professor! As you travel, you'll know and learn about a Professor's job!" Professor Bellice added.
They passed the Pokemon room and entered another room with three Pokeballs laying on a table beside each other. Camellia looked at the Pokeballs as she began to think of what starter Pokemon will suit her best and accompany her in her journey.
"What do you think Ivy?" She asked her Eevee. The professor released the Pokemons from their Pokeball so that Camellia can have a closer look at them.
"Here is your Pokedex, it's an AEP Pokedex, just fill out the data then you can scan the starter Pokemons."
"Thanks Professor Bellice!" Camellia booted up her Pokedex and began to fill out the info needed about her.
"Good day trainer! I am an automated encyclopedia Pokedex or AEP for short, I record and analyze Pokemon data! May I know your name?"
"I am Camellia and this is my Pokemon Eevee, her name is Ivy" She introduced.
"Well hello there Eevee... Hello there Camellia!" The Pokedex greeted with his accent.
"Your trainer Id will be (4900583558)" The Pokedex stated.
"Professor what's a trainer Id?" Camellia wondered.
"A trainer Id is used for registering in Pokemon contests or Pokemon leagues or for passing in different tolls, a trainer Id is used as proof that your now an official trainer, it can also be used in airports when traveling to different regions." The professor explained.
"Ohhh, so that's what a trainer Id is!"
Camellia scanned the three starter Pokemons and started to gather info about them.
[Chespin! The spiny nut Pokemon! A grass type The quills on its head are usually soft. When it flexes them, the points become so hard and sharp that they can pierce rock.]
[Froakie! The bubble frog Pokemon! A water type. It secretes flexible bubbles from its chest and back. The bubbles reduce the damage it would otherwise take when attacked.]
[Fennekin! The fox Pokemon! A fire type As it walks, it munches on a twig in place of a snack. It intimidates opponents by puffing hot air out of its ears.]
"So Ivy? Who do you think should we choose? Chespin, Fennekin, or Froakie?" Camelia queried.
Eevee pointed and smiled at Fennekin.
"You want me to choose Fennekin?" She asked her Pokemon Ivy.
"Eevee Eev Eev!" Ivy replied with a smile.
"So what do you say Fennekin? Want to join me and Ivy?" she asked, as Fennekin gave she and Ivy a big smile.
"So have you decided on your starter Pokemon?"
"Yes Professor! Me and Ivy choose Fennekin!" Camellia beamed with excitement.
"Alright then! Here are your Pokeballs and this is Fennekin's Pokeball!" the professor stated as she gave 5 Pokeballs to Camellia and Fennekin's Pokeball.
Meanwhile, me, Zhery and Glade have finally arrived in Covelry town. "Alright! We finally arrived!" I beamed and shouted with excitement.
"Calm down Kalem, you don't have to shout in front of the public." Zhery teased.
"We're just here to buy vegetables, meat, and drinks for our journey, then we can move to Norva city!" Glade explained when suddenly an explosion occurred in the Pokemon room inside the laboratory.
RAMPARDOS!!! The Pokemon shouted as it escapes the Pokemon room!
"Irys what Pokemon is that?" The three of us quivered in fear as the Pokemon rampages throughout the town.
[Rampardos! The headbutt Pokemon! A rock type! This ancient Pokémon used headbutts skillfully. Its brain was really small, so some theories suggest that its stupidity led to its extinction.]
"So that's a Rampardos!" I quavered.
"It... It looks so frightening!" Zhery fretted.
"Bu... But how did it escape?" Glade quavered in fear as Rampardos charges its head through the city. The people started to run and scream for help as Rampardos Rampaged through the town.
Meanwhile back in the lab, the red siren turned on as Camellia, and Professor Bellice started to worry.
"Wh... What could have happened?" The professor asked as one of her aids comes in the room.
"Professor Bellice! The Rampardos! It escaped!"
"Escape? But how?" The professor asked.
"It all started from a fight between Rampardos and Golem, then! Rampardos got even frustrated and used Head crash on the wall!" The aid explained.
"What about the other Pokemons?" the professor asked.
"The other Pokemons are safe! They have moved to another room but Rampardos is in the town proper rampaging through the streets!" The aid exclaimed.
"A rampage?" Camellia wondered.
"Yes, Rampardos started a Rampage here in Covelry town and it must be stopped before it leaves or goes to any place and rampages there!" I explained.
"Professor! Let me help!" Camellia volunteered.
"Alright Camellia, we have to move now!" the professor instructed.
Meanwhile, I, Zhery, and Glade were met by officer Jenny.
"Officer Jenny!" I shouted in relief as there was someone who could help stop the rampage.
"Hey there Glade, Zhery, and Kalem, I need you to help me stop Rampardos!" OfficerJenny pleaded.
"No problem officer! Just tell us what to do!" The three of us were willing to help officer Jenny as Rampardos continues to rampage all over the town.
"I need you three to calm Rampardos down while I evacuate everyone nearby!" Officer Jenny explained the instructions.
"Alright officer Jenny! Leave it to us!" We agreed as we went to Rampardos, on the other side, Camellia and professor Bellice were heading towards Rampardos.
RAMPARDOS!!! The Pokemon began to hit himself through the houses nearby the area.
"Rampardos stop moving! Your only going to hurt yourself if you continue to us head crash!" Glade warned.
RAAMMMM!!! The Pokemon charged for the three of us. "Riolu use force palm on Rampardos' head!" I commanded Riolu. The Force palm was able to knock down Rampardos but not knock out as Rampardos became even more frustrated.
RAMMMM!!! Rampardos shouted but louder than any before then charged for us again. "Eevee use tackle!" "Pansear use flame charge!" "Riolu use force palm!" We commanded our Pokemons as Rampardos began to charge towards us even faster than before!
Eevee's tackle and Riolu's force palm was able to push Rampardos down while Pansear's flame charge damaged Rampardos. But as we attacked, Rampardos just got angrier and angrier.
Rampardos threw Riolu, Pansear, and Eevee up into the sky and used zen headbutt on them.
"Were running low on options! All we can do is to knock out Rampardos!" Glade suggested.
"But every time Rampardos is hit, it becomes even angrier than before!" Zhery contradicted Glade's suggestion.
"Well we can't just let Rampardos destroy this street! We must fight back or else this whole street is doomed! Riolu use force palm!" I contradicted what Zhery said and agreed with Glade's suggestion.
We were able to knock down Rampardos for the third... then the fourth... then the fifth but Rampardos won't give up! Suddenly, two ropes from behind were shot on Rampardos feet.
"Quick! Push Rampardos down!" Officer Jenny who came to help order.
"Alright then, Pansear use flame charge!" "Eevee use tackle!" "Riolu use force palm!" We commanded our Pokemon. Rampardos' feet were tied up, and as our Pokemon knocked down Rampardos for the sixth time, Rampardos tried to stand up but the rope made it impossible for Rampardos!
"Now Ivysaur! Use sleep powder on Rampardos!" Officer Jenny sent out her Ivysaur to put Rampardos to sleep! Afterward Rampardos felt calm and slept because of sleep powder.
"Phew... Finally Rampardos is done rampaging around this street." Officer Jenny said as she wiped her sweat away.
"Oh right, officer Jenny... but who owns this Rampardos?" I queried.
"Oh this Rampardos belongs to Professor Bellice's Pokemon lab."
"Professor Bellice? Who's that?" I asked.
"Oh, she's one of the professors here in this region to give out starter Pokemons to beginning trainers." Officer Jenny explained.
"Officer Jenny!" Someone called from behind.
"Oh hi there professor Bellice! Rampardos finally calmed down thanks to the help of these three trainers and my Ivysaur!" Officer Jenny completed.
"Phew... Finally the rampage is over! I am professor Bellice by the way!" She introduced the three of us.
"Hi Professor! My name is Kalem, and this is Riolu!" I introduced myself.
"And I'm Zhery, this is Eevee!" Zhery introduced.
"The name's Glade, and this is Pansear!"Glade added.
"And I am Irys, a Holographic Projectile Pokedex!" Irys introduced too as it floated up.
"Professor! Professor!" Camellia called from behind as she gasped for air.
"I finally caught up to you professor!" Camellia said wearily.
"Oh this is Camellia, by the way, she's a new Pokemon trainer!" Professor Bellice introduced.
"Hi there, I'm Camellia this is Ivy my Eevee and this is Fennekin my starter Pokemon!" Camellia introduced.
"I'm Glade and this is Pansear!" "I'm Zhery and I also have an Eevee!" "My name is Kalem, and this is my partner Riolu!" We introduced each other together with our Pokemons.
"W... Wait! Your Kalem? As in the Kalem from Aulburg School!?" Camellia asked as I looked familiar to her and she looked familiar to me.
"Yeah... So that means! Your Camellia from Aulburg school too!" I beamed as I recognized her familiar face.
"Wait, you two know each other!?" Zhery and Glade exclaimed as the journey continues...
