Synopsis

I am not sure about this m. It started off alright but l really dislike novels which don’t clearly distinguish the Male lead. And like while I feel that this is the Male Lead, his actions towards the FL are just annoying as f*** . Like this whole relationship is weird and annoying. I am at chapter 28, and I stopped cause I’m annoyed. Honestly if this childhood bestie isn’t the ML I can continue. If he really is, this whole attitude needs to change, plus he is already with someone and I hate guys who make their partner feel insecure like this 🙄🙄🙄 I am sure at some point there will be some round about reason for why he is not with the bestie(FL) and was just trying to “protect her”. But right now I’m annoyed. It’s not terrible, I’m just annoyed. I would say read all the free chapters and then decide if you want to continue

The ML is Leng. atleast the child is leng’s. I transalted a few chapters randomly. I think in the last chapter the child mentioned in the prologue has his wedding with Ou’s daughter.
This book is also from my fav Author Jiong Jiong Yao Yao. But this one here has completely different vibe from "Full marks hidden marriage" or "perfect secret love" or "lifetime of bliss and contentment". It's more than little bit sad in comparison to the other three. Here ML and FL start with misunderstanding . ML already has a fiance but ofcourse he doesn't love or like her. Though ML had his reasons. I don't remember whole story. It's been a while that I read. Story moves on just like this. FL runs away cause of some incident. I think, then ML realizes that he loves her or something. Then after 5 years they meet as given in the synopsis. Still FL plays off (she acts as though she has amnesia and he is mistaking her as someone else). ( Its near 400 - 500 chapters that they met again).But some misunderstanding still keeps going on. It's at the very end of their story that all the misunderstandings ends. Thus this novel is not so fluffy and cute like others. Main story ends at about 1500 chapter or so. Rest are the side character's story. I think it's their son's. And yes they too have misunderstanding between them. So overall this book in my opinion is 3/10. If other books of same author is 10/10. 😅😅

Here is another spoiler from yours truly. The ML, as usual, he has another identity(underground world) like mafia I must say.. So he actually has trouble and his priority is to resolve it, but to do that. He must be engaged to his fiance as mentioned in the chapters available. He unknowingly like the FL but couldn't admit that because he can't accept it. So in the far episodes(around 300+) a fem will be drugged and ML is off course will act as an antidote and will result to pregnancy. The FL, as usual, will run away bec. ML would still insist his engagement with that bai lady. Anyway, this ML was never had an intention to marry the bai

I would've liked it, but seriously the story was sooooo confusing I kinda felt like it would be an exhausting read with all the plot twists... so I'm not gonna continue with this one,...
perhaps I am comparing it to the other books written by the same author. Oh yeah, we all know that this one will have a very satisfying ending like others but the development for the FL and ML seems to be very slow. I prefer that Mr. Ou is the ML.
Jiong Jiong You, her novel makes me sob,smile , laugh and feel heartache and reminds me of my teenage so dearly .A 5 star since it's her novel. just in love with it🥺🥺❣️❣️❣️

for those who don't like drama, this is drama, not as bad as other novels that have that toxic drama. but it still has it. haish, I tried reading this, even read more than what was available here(the novel is finished in Chinese), since I was hoping to see that Jiong Jiong Yao Yao magic. disappointed. I still recommend perfect secret love, hidden marriage, and lifetime of bliss. but the drama this novel has compared to the other three is just. this male lead can't compare. it's like that Ji and Mo novel I read last time which went a route I definitely did not expect (because I wasn't expecting the author to go back to the trivial cliche) had to take that one out of my list of books to go back to, this is following suit sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it really is like a gamble ,you know, reading .you're gambling, hoping that the book you are reading is even half good.

I read this story long time ago in chinese version where i can still listen to audio (cause i cant Read chinese except listening).. It is a FANTASTIC story...At first u wont like it.. When u read it more you will fall in love with the story. In short dont give up on the start but continue and you will see what i mean. cant wait for english version!!!!!
I read this long back and I disappointed after reading this ,FL is a bodyguard but she behave like a weak women and she is definitely a doormat to ml. I didn't like this male lead in this story Y author all stories are same?
Gee, just how many novels does she have!??? 😱 Almost every novel of her is on the top charts and have a very common element in it, guess what...... . . . the 'bun' is made and the other party involved doesn't even know that! 😂 And seriously, I just gave this a five star without reading it. I have trust in you my dear author. I know this one is also going to be on the charts. 😊
The story is good, the character of the FL is surely worth to read. But I really don't like the ML so far, his character is going back and forth; doing things that would make the FL happy and then in a blink doing the opposite. I like her better with her SENIOR. That gives a different vibe, though this is just my opinion.

Yay! Another book by this wonderful author! Its a recent book. 1893 chapters, completed in 2018. Another bun, although we dont get to meet him yet. PhysIcally strong FL. This author usually write strong female characters. Here’s hoping for another one.
