Chapter 36: Return
I have been back to school for two days now. I was sitting on a table near an tree with the others. They kept asking me questions that I didn't even bother to answer. I had Alexa's, notes and was reading the last lessons I missed. In the end, not much. I think I can manage. I had left Jamal at City S so that he can kept me up to date with what was going on.
So far, my father hasn't said anything to me but I know he's starting to see a certain pattern in my plan. The exam was in a few days and for now I want to focus on that and finish it as soon as possible.
"Hey guys what are you going to do during your vacation?"
Asked Jamie.
My sister and Anabel were at the library and we were the only ones on the table.
"What do you think, I guess we're going to be buried under more files."
Said Alex.
" Have you read the files that I sent you."
I asked them.
"Yes and we have already returned it to your assistant."
Replied Mu Chen.
"But I have a question. Why are you putting all this effort?"
" It must be said that you already have something ready ready for you."
Replied Jamie.
I took a few moments and glanced at Jamie then I looked away and said.
" There is something I understood. I have a lot of money, I can have what I want because I was born into a wealthy family. But when I die, who will think of me and what will I do with all this money. Unlike you or me there are people who are very capable, but they did not receive any opportunity. Either because they didn't want to do anything against their morale or they didn't have the opportunity. I do not want to save all the poor, nor the world. But if I can help someone worthwhile on my way then why not? I am a very smart person, so I decided to use it in something quite lucrative."
"So, before, your goal is to help within some measures"
"Yes"
I said to My Chen.
" But, I guess there is another reason too."
"Of course. Back up. You don't think everyone will be happy that my brother will become the new CEO. I know some people are waiting for us to make a mistake".
"Hey bro who are this people."
"I will tell you not now. Just focus on the files my father pass to you".
" Ok I am convinced I will send you the money later. At least I will have participated in what you do in my own way"
Say Mu Chen.
"Hmm you're right"
Said Jamie.
" When I die the money will stay there he won't follow me in the coffin. As much as it serves a purpose while I'm still alive."
"Well,"
Says Alex.
"Maybe, when you see the almighty he will remember that and maybe you will avoid going to hell."
Everyone laughed when they heard what Alex had just said. I was glad my friends took it that way. But my real goal was the destruction of the Tang. But along the way, in recent months, something has changed I don't know what it is. Maybe I should thank them since now I have a family who really love me and people I want to protect and, I even have friends who love me too.
I still want to eliminate them, but I see that, this is no longer a priority for me. After several years this height that I felt in my heart when I think of them is no longer there.
" I plan to take the entrance exam to Unica next year. What do I tell think?"
"Why not we all have the aptitude"
Says Jamie.
" Life here is not so interesting. I'm tired of these girls who only dream of getting married in a prestigious family."
Said Mu chen.
" Hmm it will be the same at the university"
Said Alex.
" Yes, it's true. These people are really boring over time."
"And don't forget that when we reach 18 if we don't fancy anyone our parents will choose someone for us."
"What a drag"
The rest of the afternoon passed thus during some hours my sister and Annabel returned and took part in the discussion too.
The days passed very quickly. I used them to make up for almost everything I lost. I wondered why I had this privilege. The school allowed me to spend all these absent days. It turns out that my father is an old friend of the principal and he made a big donation to the school allowing them to buy new materials and also the promise that I have to be first.
A few days later I was sitting in my exam room. It seems to me that there are some doubts concerning my results considering that I spent several months absent. There are quite a few rumors in the school. But that does not interest me, they will know the day or the results will be outside. 30 minutes later I had finished and returned my sheet. But in the afternoon another rumor circulated about me saying that I did not write anything on my sheet. I was eating in the cafeteria when I heard these discussions.
"These people really have idiots."
Says Alexa.
The days passed quickly and it was already the end of the exams. The holidays are about to start and I was already planning a new plan. We were all in the car to go home. I had decided to spend a few days with my family then I will go again to city S.
