Chapter 41: Bet
She was writing her song and the door bell rang. She came out from her work mode and gazed out. It was already dark. It must be Joon or Ruo Bei to call for dinner.
She asked Lucy who it was and she was right it was Joon so she asked her to open the door. She went down to find Joon doing something with the door.
"Are you here to call for dinner?"
"Yes"
"Let's go" saying she pulled him out.
While having dinner Joon suddenly remembered.
"Xixi did you forgot to close the door because when I arrived it was opened."
"It didn't open when you came it opened when you rang the bell"
"So what isn't it the same...how can you be so negligent to keep the door open.. even though there are guards and the security is top notch but still you shouldn't be careless."
"It was locked before, Lucy opened it."
"Ahh okay."
"How was you day?" Ruo Bei asked
"Ohh it was good I went to club I didn't tell them who I am. They all are very friendly and very talkative specially Yun Soo.... she just can't stop her mouth"
"Ha that idiot she just knows how to talk and nothing else I just dont understand what she's doing here...hmph" Joon said with a displeased face.
"Looks like you like her too much."
"How can I like that idiot!! I just feel like throwing her out of my sight every time I see her "
Natasha didn't say anything further and continued eating.
"Noona I'm going to the club tomorrow in the evening do you want to come with me."
"I don't think I can.. I have some work"
"Ahh I wanted to show you my fighting skills." he said dejectedly.
"I've already seen it."
"You did? When?"
"Ahh I'll try to come after I finish my work" She quickly changed the subject.
Joon didn't suspect anything but Ruo Bei gave her a meaningful look.
Hearing her Joon's eyes lit up.
"Okay... you'll sure be head over heel for me after you see me fight"
"We'll see"
Ruo Bei frowned.
She got a call. As Ruo Bei was beside her he saw whose call it was...
'Partner K'
That's what she saved it as. She picked it up.
"Hello" a male voice was heard.
"Wait a sec" Natasha replied.
" KIT earpiece" the call was transferred to her earpiece.
As Ruo Bei was near and had great senses he could hear the male voice at first but after she transferred it to the earpiece he couldn't.
'Partner K who is it.... he was surely a male and his voice sounded excited...too excited'
"Speak" She knew very well what he wanted to say hearing his exited voice.
"The places that you sent are confirmed. I send some people to investigate and your right there's human trafficking going on. We raided the place and found more than hundreds of victims....the others are caught and now in the interrogation room. We are one more step closer now. I'll keep updating you."
"Good" she hung up and a sly smile bloomed on her face.
Seeing that smile his already darkened face turned more dark.
"You look happy."
"I'm one more step closer to him now...soon he'll be in my hands...let's see how much he can run and hide." she was enjoying her victory so she forgot who she was talking to. The moment her words fell from her mouth the temperature of the room dropped to negative.
"Why is it so cold..did they decreased the temperature?" she asked while rubbing her hands.
Joon on the other hand was frozen. The hand that was holding was trembling...he was just looking at Ruo Bei with fear.
After a long time Ruo Bei asked.."Who?"
"Ahh?"
"Whom were you talking about?"
"Ohh I'm searching for someone he's not in the country for now...I'm just trying to force him to come here."
"Help?" he wanted to find him and see him... who was it that she wanted to catch and not let go.
"Noo...Thanks" saying she continued eating.
After dinner she went home took shower and slept.
The next day after running and breakfast she went to the music room to continue her work. The day went by and it was already 5. She stretched and went to her room. After changing her clothes she started walking towards the club. She remembered that Joon asked her to drop by in the evening.
Walking in she didn't see Joon.....so she thought of finding Yun Soo. After asking around she found out that she went to the back yard. Natasha went there and saw Yun Soo, Aeram and Dong Woo standing outside the bathrooms and peeking in.
"What are you guys doing?" they were all startled and look at her with fear.
"Ahh it's you..."
"You scared us"
"We are checking out who it is in that bathroom...we have made a bet on who is there....I think its Master Go." Dong Woo answered
"No I think it's the new boy who joined a few weeks ago." Yun Soo said.
"Look at his body. He's perfect from everywhere, how can it be that new boy!"
"Hmm he has wide shoulders, broad back, toned muscles...ohh my god he is soo perfect..I dont think he's from our club." Yun Soo exclaimed.
"What is the bet?" Natasha asked.
"Whoever loses with take us to a meal..so it will be two free meals" Aeram answered
"Then I'll join too"
"Really you want to join too...but you just came you don't even know everyone...and look we can't even see clearly just his back from that hole."
"I'll join"
"Okay as you wish... who do you think it is"
"Joon" she answered in a second.
"Joon?"
"Hmm... Joon"
"You mean second master Joon?"
"Master?..when did he become a master?"
They were all in their world and no one knew that there was someone behind them listening.
