Chapter 2: 2 A Dream Come True
"Eh?" The One looked at me, stunned. "Why would you or anyone else ever ask for something like that?"
"Well, you know, you don't have kids and I don't want to just have one wish that would end up possibly useless. So, I was hoping if I asked to be your son, you would give me more wishes and help me accomplish my dreams. Think about it, I won't abuse my powers in ways you don't want me to, and you can enjoy watching your child rise to greatness. It's a win-win situation!" I said. If I have to, I'll even start groveling. Is it too much to ask for a journey through various anime and novel worlds while being overpowered after suffering through a life of mediocrity? I don't think so!
"Well, I'll listen to your request. No harm in doing so."
"Alright, so basically, I want to be able to travel through anime worlds while being super over powered, maybe collect a harem, you know, the usual."
"The usual? Yes, a few gods that think they're supreme do allow some people in their respective multiverse to do so. However, I'm The One. I am the true supreme in charge of all universes. It doesn't happen often for me. However, it isn't a lot. Is that really all you want?"
"Yes. And while I go through my journey you can monitor and watch, so you'll get to watch me, your son, grow up until I become as strong as you. Moreover, you can tell me what you don't want me doing with my powers and I'll obey those rules as thanks! Just give me a few extra wishes, let me keep my memory, and the ability to grow as strong as you! Easy!"
"I will grant you wish then. From now on, I'll recognize you as my son and allow this journey for you grow in power. The only rule I have is to not destroy a universe just because you don't like it. Tell me all that you want to start off your journey and we'll see about it."
"Okay, first of all I want one of those ridiculous systems, but with infinite system currency. Then I want the ability to alter some things in the anime worlds I go to, before I enter them. For example, I could enter Naruto n customize it so that Nagato, Konan and Yahiko went back to the leaf village with Jiraya, but Obito still creates the Akatsuki. And allow me to give myself a background, altering my age to suit the background. How is that so far?"
"They're both just a tad excessive, but I'll allow them. In exchange, you only get two more 'wishes.'" Said The One after giving it some thought.
"Alright! My next wish is for a Klyntar symbiote that has been enhanced by Poisons which I can wear. It should have all the properties of Venom, Carnage, Toxin, and Anti-Venom. So that means the strength, the camouflage, the tracking, the webbing and other spider powers, the quick healing, the weaponry, the venomous bite, the healing factor, the learning capabilities and the curing everything. It should be similar to Toxin in that it doesn't try to take over the hosts' body and actually co-operates with them instead. The symbiote should be able to reproduce more than just once a lifetime, unlike the Klyntar, with a week long pregnancy. It should also be able to grow in strength with me, and look like the Poison Spiderman. Or maybe Poison Hawkeye. They're both cool. Can I swap between both? Is that doable?"
"Yeah, that's not that bad. You can be yet another Spiderman. Though, you do realize it'll reproduce by itself right?"
"Yeah, but can you make it so the parent doesn't just hate the child? And it can control its reproduction? It would be a lot cooler if the children could suit it with my friends and family without my partner wanting to kill them."
"Sure, I guess you don't want another Carnage and Venom versus Toxin situation. I wouldn't either."
"Alright, then lastly I want a personal world that incorporates aspects of the worlds I visit that I want included. Not everything, just the things I want."
"I guess that's okay. It'll be linked to your system for your adjustment. I'll start you off in the world of Pokémon, for my own entertainment, do you want to make changes to your own appearance?" The One inquired lastly.
I know why he asked that. I did mention a harem, but I'm pretty damn average looking. Like a background character in Yu-Gi-Oh! I would definitely like to look better, but I can't think of someone who I can model my likeness after. If I model it after an anime character and I visit the world they're in, I'll have to include being a part of their family in my background. Actually, fuck it. It's fine as long as I choose the right one. Adult Sasuke!
"Or you could just be a look alike. Instead of being related to them in your background. And yes, I read you mind. I'm sick of waiting for you to think. If you want to look like Sasuke from Naruto then that's fine..." The One cut into my thoughts with his own input on how I could adjust my background.
"Wait! I don't want to look like him when he was a kid though! Oh! Actually! I want to look like Shoyo Hinata from Haikyuu, but with jet black hair. Hold the height problems." I replied as I made up my mind about how I want to look. I did kind of want to look like Gray Fullbuster from Fairy Tail, but I don't want Natsu calling me Gray 2 or something. I know he would. Plus, I don't want people to think I have a stripping habit by any chance. Can't imagine being called a pervert like him. I am one, but I don't want to be constantly called out for it. Especially when it's something I can't help like him.
"Alright! I'll give you an adult height of about 182 cm or about 6 feet. So, since I believe that those people who get to reincarnate in 'anime worlds' as you call them, receive starter packs, I'll grant you one too. Through lottery of course!!"
