Chapter 2: Your Prince
Tianna Jones, the campus beauty as she's called is a youthful girl full of life, easily capturing hearts with a single smile akin to sunshine.
The girl was a stunner. Her winsome appearance pristine and delicate like an untouched butterfly. Her locks resembling a river of glistening black, an attraction along with her brown eyes that glowed like embers in light. Her ruddy lips alluring.
The itch to get closer to Tianna vast as they interact or even cast a mere glance at her.
Tianna's bestfriend, Zabie Connors is also a cheerful girl who enjoys life to the fullest. The duo met each other when they were five, and have been together since then.
Unlike Tianna, who is a parentless child under her aunt's care, Zabie is the daughter of the Connors. The Connors are one of the most richest families in the town.
Casting a side glance at the notice board, Zabie pointed to a particularly colorful piece of information, her voice booming.
"Tianna! Look, there's rehearsals going on for the drama you're participating in.."
Stopping in her tracks, Tianna slapped her forehead lightly.
"Oh no! It slipped out of my mind.. Zabie, I'll have to go!"
Frowning mildly, Tianna returned to Zabie's side to take a look at the notice board. She then kissed her friend's cheek as a farewell before darting to the corridor where the drama classes are situated.
"Yup, see you later princess..!"
Wiping her cheek, Zabie waved her hands with an animated smile as she screamed at Tianna's back.
Making heads turn, Tianna arrived at the large room that looked like a modern amphitheater.
Inside, Ms Lilith was giving the students participating in the drama a brief when she saw Tianna enter. A smile bloomed on her face.
"Tianna, you're here..".
With a subtle curve of her red lips, Ms Lilith sauntered to the girl keeping her backpack on the wooden desk. Her tone soft with a hint of warmth.
"Ms Lilith, you're looking lovely.."
Turning around with a radiant smile, Tianna winked at the pretty woman in front of her. Her playfulness heartwarming.
"You, stop flattering me.. Go change and get your lines from Adam!"
Squinting her gaze, Ms Lilith tried to sound stern. She cocked her head to the group on the stage.
"Yes Ma'am!"
Sticking her tongue out, Tianna mimicked a saluting action eliciting a chuckle from the other students. Her cute smile making their hearts pound.
Biting back a smile, Ms Lilith simply shook her head before going back to her seat. Her gaze on Tianna as she dashed inside the changing room.
After changing out of her black outfit, Tianna came out donning a long white dress that hugged her curves perfectly. She looked breathtakingly beautiful.
As Tianna made her way to the stage, she was approached by a tall and handsome man with a cheeky smile.
"Hey gorgeous..!"
Almost rolling her eyes, Tianna avoided the hand trying to sneakily clutch hers as she answered with a stiff smile.
"Hi Adam.."
Tianna's half-hearted reply made the man curl his brows in a mild frown. Recovering himself, Adam smiled at her sporting the same cheeky expression.
"Here! Your lines.. Don't worry your prince will be there to save your day!"
Handing Tianna a bunch of papers, Adam said in a complacent manner, his pink lips curled to reveal a smirk. He even winked at the end of his sentence.
Adam Rhodes, the heartthrob of St Aria high school is the heir of Rhodes Estate. He's the ace student with a striking face and physique. He has an easygoing and friendly personality, though he changes into a different person in front of Tianna. And she keeps avoiding him.
Being the so-called 'most eligible bachelor' of the school, Adam has always enjoyed attention from all the students, male or female. However, in the case of Tianna, he's the one trying to get her attention desperately. He's smitten good from the moment he laid his eyes on Tianna.
Although, Adam had heard strange rumors about 'the campus beauty' always spacing out and behaving oddly, especially sleeping in class and daydreaming. It didn't dampen his spirits but flamed his interest in her. He wasn't affronted, rather Adam wanted to know all about Tianna and her eccentricities for he was too drunk on love as well as her beauty.
It was no secret that for Adam, only Tianna exists in his eyes.
To be honest, Tianna doesn't hate Adam. It's just that, seeing his constant efforts to get close to her were nauseating. A strong feeling of repulsion in her heart is keeping Tianna from reciprocating Adam's feelings, that even she doesn't understand.
"..Thank you, let's start."
Flustered, Tianna softly mumbled as she took the script from Adam, avoiding eye-contact. Her fingers twitching. The man's burning gaze with raw emotions making her uncomfortable to the core.
