Chapter 3: I Hate Thugs
It's been a day since I became a dungeon master. I wanted to try customizing the dungeon so I accessed the Dungeon Customization tab. Apparently, my dungeon looks like a cave. Actually, scratch that... It is actually a cave. A cave with an entrance big enough to fit two grown men.
Since I still didn't feel safe if ever I got invaded, I added another room, the same size as the previous one. Inside, I placed 2 goblins spawners and a horned rabbit spawned. A total of 500 DP. Add that with the expense of the room and passageway, then it totalled 1500 DP. My remaining DP equaled 920. Why 920 when it should have been 820? (Food expenses = 30 DP) Because of my daily DP income and my skill [DP Generation]. It should have been 20 DP/day, but with this skill at level 5, I earn five times the value for a single person. A pretty good skill for a dungeon master. But at this rate, I won't be able to expand my dungeon into a good one a month from now. So, please adventurers! Please come inside my dungeon so I can eat your delicious DP!!

About half a day passed when finally, I saw some movement at the entrance. They numbered five, and are all males. Each of them is equipped with a short sword and daggers at their waist for backups. One man was carrying a child-sized burlap sack on his shoulder while the others are bringing small pouches.
D-- did the child-sized sack just twitch!? It must be my imagination... No, it really did twitch! Is this a kidnapping or something? Then why are they coming into my dungeon? Hold on...
I accessed the Dungeon Management tab and checked how much a microphone costs. Each of them costs a hundred DP so I placed about five of them. One in the entrance, one in each passageway and one in each room.
Now... Let me hear what you guys are planning...

~Thug Leader POV~
"Oi! Hurry up will ya!!"
I and my comrades were going back to our base after a successful theft from a carriage. They even had a cute little beastkin girl slave! She is gonna sell well.
"We're here!"
We finally arrived at our cave. When we went inside, however...
"Wha---!?"
"What the hell!?"
The room that should have been there vanished and was replaced with a long passageway.
"Oi oi oi!!"
"This ain't right!"
"Impossible!!"
The cave us 5 were used to were gone. And what replaced it was something else.
"Boss... How should we move?"
One of my comrades sent me a questioning gaze. Should we move ahead, or find another spot. But it's getting dark now and I don't want to get killed by a monster so I decided.
"We're heading in. Everybody ready your weapons!"
Each of my comrades unsheathed their short sword and went into battle position.
"Don't damage the goods! She might sell for a fortune if she's unharmed!"

~Daichi POV~
"Don't damage the goods! She might sell for a fortune if she's unharmed!"
One of the guys, let's call them thugs, called out to his ally who was carrying the child-sized sack. Now I know what I'm going to do to these assholes. I gave a command to my monsters not to harm the person inside the sack. For now, I'll deactivate the pitfall traps to lure them into the monster room.
They slowly advanced through the passage, and finally reached the monster room. When they went in, however, the room was empty. Not a single soul in sight. Why? Because I told the monsters to hide and surround them. Even if they are weak, they are still numerous. And when the thugs reached the center, the monsters showed themselves and the fight began.

~Thug Leader POV~
"Damn they're not letting up!"
Right now, we were engaged in mortal combat with slimes, horned rabbits, goblins, and kobolds. All of them numbered 25.
"Fuck! When did these guys learn to use tactics!?"
One of my comrades gave a retort before getting stabbed by the horn of a horned rabbit.
"Guuhhaaa!!??"
"Gozo!! Damn you!!"
I swung my sword towards the horned rabbit that stabbed Gozo and lopped it's head off. It's head danced in the air as blood painted the ground. Right after I killed the rabbit, Gozo was assaulted by a goblin.
"GUAAHH!! GGAAHHH!! GIIAAHH!!"
Gozo was stabbed over and over. Blood scattered here and there while Gozo's body went limp. A blood puddle formed underneath him and the goblin got up. It readied its blade and swung it down, chopping the head of dead Gozo.
"You fucker!!"
I dashed towards the goblin who killed Gozo and stabbed its body. The blade pierced through its heart and the goblin fell.
"Haahh... Hahh..."
I then brandished my sword and blocked an incoming attack from a kobold. I put strength in my arms and sent the dagger of the kobold flying.
"Oryaaa!!!"
I brought down my sword onto the kobolds head and split its head in half. It's brain matter flown out and landed on the ground. I then spun around and lopped off the head of a goblin behind me. I sidestepped right and avoided a charge of a horned rabbit and stabbed its abdomen. Just as I was fighting with monsters on my side, two more of my comrades died from the attacks of the monsters. The last of my comrades tried to run away but was met with an attack from two kobolds.
"Shit!!"
I need to get out of here! But what about the loot? I'll just manage! I tried to find an opening, and lucky for me, I found one. I then turned tail and ran with all my might towards the exit. I got out of the monster room and the exit is in sight.
"Haahh. Hahh. Haahh.."
I can get out! I can get out!! Just as I was celebrating my escape, I fell down.
"Ehh??"
I... Stepped on a trap. And fell down for about 4 meters.
*Crash*
"Uuu..."
I need to get out of this hole. I tried climbing up but was stabbed from behind.
"Ehh?? Guufuu!??"
When I turned around, what I last saw, was a goblin stabbing me with a sword...

~Daichi Pov~
The last of the thugs fell down the reactivated pitfall trap. Also, in each pitfall trap, there is one goblin hiding at the bottom. Of course, I made an extension to let the monster at the bottom avoid getting crushed.
Right now, I commanded the goblins to cut open the sack to release the person inside. When the person got out of the sack, however.
"Hi-- Hiiiiiii!!!"
She screamed and fell down. She wet herself and fainted. She was a little girl with the age ranging about 7 - 9 years old. She has a tail and cat ears. The very definition of a beastkin. She had pure white hair that rolled down her back until her waist and had blue eyes. She was wearing rags with slits on the side. To be kidnapped and then used sold as a slave by them, such a poor girl. Hmm, she has a collar on. I commanded the monsters to bring her to the core room. When she arrived, the monsters went back to their respective rooms. I used appraisal on the collar and I found out what she was.
Slave Collar - anyone wearing this will have their class forcefully changed to slave.
She is a slave. I used appraisal on her just to check her name and status.

It's good that she has no owner. For now, I'll buy a blanket for her and when she wakes up, I'll give her some sushi.
