Chapter 26: 9.2
Seokjin didn't ask Namjoon about this but he told Yoongi that he wouldn't come to the café today. Hoseok was pale when he arrived at Yoongi's café twenty minutes after the café's owner read the chat, clothes drenched in sweat.
"Talk slowly," Yoongi said, Hoseok closed his eyes and the older man could see sweats rolled down to his chin, the younger man groaned because he couldn't form any coherent sentences, "What's wrong?" Yoongi started to panic.
"Seokjin"
"What? What's wrong with him?"
"Fight"
Yoongi frowned, Seokjin never use his fist anymore since he had Taehyung and Jungkook. Hearing the bird hybrid fought again was something he didn't expect to ever happen, a big disappointment since he thought the hybrid would never do something concerning like that ever again.
"He is fighting again?" Yoongi clicked his tongue, "he already has Taehyung and Jungkook-"
"Someone kidnapped them!"
Silence.
"Say that again?"
Seokjin didn't tell or ask Namjoon but Yoongi did, that was how the younger hybrid contacted his people and immediately tracked down who went this morning to pick up the children. Benefits for having so much power to use under his sleeve, Namjoon could get as much footage he wanted from any CCTV available at this point.
Hoseok told him everything when Seokjin rushed to the daycare like he already knew that his children were not there and the hybrid was right. Seokjin panicked there, Hoseok explained the moment he ran after he knew that both of Taehyung and Jungkook weren't there.
Namjoon decided to go to his brother's apartment first, maybe Seokjin went there by any case but when they arrived there, the apartment was empty.
"He isn't here," Hoseok said, Namjoon kept biting his lips while Yoongi let out a grunt. They knew that Seokjin used to be an underground fighter but they didn't know where his playground was. The older man used to be so distant with them, hiding everything related to him.
All of them was near giving up when someone knocked Seokjin's door, Yoongi opened the door and he met both Jimin and a tall man he didn't recognize, but he once or maybe twice saw this man walked with Seokjin.
Chanyeol quirked his eyebrow; looked dumbfounded, "where's Seokjin?" he asked to the point. He side-eyeing Jimin bowed his head to Yoongi; he saw Hoseok and Namjoon but he didn't see any familiar broad figure.
"Actually we're searching for him too, why?" Yoongi leaned to the doorframe, Chanyeol stomped his feet. He needed to tell Seokjin that his enemy was moving and his sons might be in danger but it was too late.
Jimin was in the middle of the glaring contest between Chanyeol and Yoongi when Namjoon tapped their shoulders. He made everything clear for Chanyeol by explaining that he was too late, "maybe we should contact the police or we will never find Taehyung and Jungkook like this."
Chanyeol widened his eyes, "fuck," he cut the hybrid, "those bastards really kidnapped the kids?"
Namjoon frowned, "yes," he gazed at the taller man, "do you by any chance, know about this?"
Chanyeol looked down to his shoes, "shitshitshitshit," he cursed, "you're Namjoon right? Seokjin's younger brother."
The sudden question surprised them, Chanyeol knew the faces of Seokjin's family but only some people like Namjoon or Dongwook, he also knew about Yoongi and Hoseok but this Jimin guy beside him was new. They met by accident when Jimin wanted to give Seokjin his homemade stew and Chanyeol was in rush to give this information to Seokjin.
"Yes, I'm, and who are you?" Namjoon replied a little bit too harsh, he could feel a really bad feeling for this one.
Chanyeol gestured him to follow him, "Seokjin isn't here right," the rest of the group nodded, "I know where he is and we should hurry before it's too late."
Hoseok eyed the way Chanyeol bit his nails, they rushed to the elevators, "that moron went to that place alone, stupidstupidstupid, we should hurry."
"Just wish he is still alive," all of them stiffened when he said that.
